What in the world is going on with Office Depot? Last week, when visiting the Tomball location. I…read morewas told they no longer allow use of the paper trimmer without placing print orders (in other words they removed the ability independently cut self service print jobs). When I offered to place a print order I was told I'd have to wait until atleast tomorrow to pick it up. To be clear, I was literally giving them the paper I just printed using self serve to be cut, and only cut, not reprinted, not redone...10 pages of card stock...2 minutes of effort required max. Today I visited the Cypress location, where I'm a biweekly customer. The restroom was out of order, one self-serve print station was out of order, and Ofcourse as I'd learned last week, the self service paper trimmer was no where in sight. I waited a little less than 10 minutes for print service to be told that they were not taking any express print orders...while the huge poster in front of the station directly says they take same day orders before 2pm. The staff member specifically told me that "she" is not taking same day orders in a "less than polite" tone. To be honest, the behavior of this employee was the worst customer service I've received anywhere in months. I'm a weekly-biweekly customer, but I'll sadly be taking my business elsewhere from now on. It take 0 dollars and 0 cents to be nice.

It is good to know that he can service them as well, but it hasn't needed any work. He sells good machines but at least I know that there are service contracts available and his fees are reasonable. I would definitely recommend FOS to others. He can even do leases if needed so that is good to keep in mind as well. (I am NOT in CA. I'm in the Houston area)

I have the Konica Minolta c8000 press printer which is very expensive and extreamely hard to maintainant. Everytime I my printer run into problem I have to called a authorize dealer or Konica company to fix the printer. Everytime they come out they charge me min $155 plus tax for an hour. Functional Office system charge me only $85 an hour and I found that they have the same skill level just like the dealer for a lot less. They also very knowledgeable about the press c7000. They also very nice and take time for every small details. I also learn that if you lease a machine from them or buy it, and put it under maintainent contract they only charge ONE Penny yes 1 cent for each black and white copy and 5 cents for each color copy, they will provide everything, toner, drum, and if even when you have problem with your copier they will come out and fix it free of charge. I will definitely do that in the short future. I highly recommend this company, they very professional and very reliable.

Then I went to pick up the items and noticed the wires was not tucked correctly on one book. The customer service rep at the counter assisted me and I was very pleased. The book came out very good and I had a coupon to use and it gave me a great discount. In spite of mixed reviews, I can say my books were printed well and it was organized and in sync.

The board was Office Depot brand for $14.89, but a board with the same dimensions is only $2.99 at Hobby Lobby. The cashier said they can't price match to Hobby Lobby. Then I was able to find the same board at Target for $3.99. The cashier said they do price match to Target, but they still refused to price match since the brands didn't match. So they lost my business and I went to Target next door.
