First off I want to say, the service here was spectacular!!…read more We came in for dinner an hour before closing time. It was quite empty only a few booths were occupied. Still we were greeted very kindly by the manager up front. Took us to our table right away. Where our server took our order for drinks in a timely manner. And gave us plenty of time to decide on our order, mind you we did take some time since it was our first time there and we were unfamiliar with the menu. However he was very patient, glancing in on us to make sure he didn't miss us. Our appetizer was the calamari (I'm sorry I forgot the picture) but it was very good.! As good as Brad's from Pismo. Even my kids enjoyed it. The food portions were huge.! Definitley our moneys worth. My husband ordered the Prime Rib, which was HUGE. When they bring it out, they place it on the plate for you and you hear it sear, since the plate is super hot.! BTW it being hot kept his food nice and warm the entire time we ate dinner. I ordered the Rib Eye, and it was...soooo good!! I got it medium rare. It was nice and juicy.!! My husband was even eyeing it. I ordered grilled onions with it and glazed butter. The onions came on the side., which I then just put them on my steak. The baked potato was also delicious. The seasoning that they put on top makes it just right.! I also had their original margarita and an Irish coffee. While my husband and kids had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The ambiance was great. I loved how the booths made the dinner feel more private, since their back sitting goes almost all the way up. The manager even made rounds and made sure that everyone was enjoying their meal. Our server...which was a young man. Had such a great attitude and composure, specially dealing with a toddler and young little man. He often checked in on us to make sure the service was good and that we were missing anything. Whenever we asked for refills or just ketchup, he came back right away with them. This place is pricey, seeing from the receipt how it was just 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 kids under 6. But the service and the food Definitley makes it worth it.! Specially the drinks. They're loaded, which I won't complain, makes it worth every penny. It's such a good vibe also. It's decorated just how you would think a "cattlemen's place would be" with plenty of props and good food.!

I've never had a better filet mignon and the people at my table had the same experience with their ribeye and chicken. Chloe was an excellent waitress. She made the experience even better. It's kinda strange these days that it is difficult to get a good steak no matter what high end restaurant you're at! This is the place!!!! Right from the start, they brought out these warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven dinner rolls that were absolutely to die for. I did noticed on the menu, it mentioned these rolls were from Max's Bistro & Bar from Fresno. For the main course, the Harrah Ranch steaks were incredibly flavorful and juicy, The T-Bone steak we ordered was cooked exactly to our liking. Even the side salad stood out because the lettuce was so crisp. To top it all off, the service was fantastic from the second you walk in. We loved our server because she was very attentive, She made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We will definitely be back!

It still has that "danish" feel on the inside as well. The people were friendly, and the place was clean. They have a decent sized bar, with TVs to watch sports. They have a decent menu with everything from appetizers, salads, burgers, and entrées. I wanted to go a bit light, so I went for the Caesar salad with tri-tip, and the dressing on the side. The salad comes quick, and overall it was a good salad. The Parmesan was good, the veggies were nice, the tri-tip was a tiny bit chewy, but it had a very good flavor to it. I also liked the Caesar dressing very much. However, the reason I'm taking off a star, is because the salad was watery. There wasn't that much tomato, so I really believe it was because when they washed the greens, they didn't dry them off completely. It really diluted the dressing. It was still a very good salad, so I will only takeoff one star. I didn't send it back, because I didn't catch it until I was about halfway through the salad. That would not have been fair. The price was very reasonable, and they do offer a military/veterans discount. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu, but I think I'm gonna stay away from the salads from now on. Thanks anyway.

We sat at the bar and didn't get helped until about 10mins after while they sat everyone else. Unfortunately there was the "bartender" and one waitress for the whole restaurant. So sadly we were attended to as often as we needed. Like when the food came we had no napkins or utensils. We asked for some and took about 5mins to have them brought over. The bartender was very apologetic throughout but instead of saying sorry everytime she saw us help us out. My husband ordered the tritip sandwich with chili. The gave him fries so we had to ask for the chili. I got the pulled pork and sweet potato fries. Everything was good. We ordered a salad to go and it took less time than anything else.

When it came time to eat my chicken piccata.... Things went from ok to awful. I tried a bite of chicken and near gagged. It was cooked in a white wine sauce. This sauce was not cooked well. It tasted and smelled fermented. I could taste the wine intensely and even got a super mild buzz from the one bite I had (low tolerance). I moved onto the pasta and I got the olive oil sauce and what I thought initially was Italian seasonings turned out to be various pepper flakes. I don't do heat well and my mouth was on fire for at least five minutes and my nose even started running. I literally ate two bites off my plate and had to move it to the side. The smell of the wine sauce was so strong even my husband could smell it and it made me feel ill. When the waitress asked what was wrong I explained the pasta was extremely spicy and sauce on the chicken just not good. She asked if I would take it home and I specifically told her no. She asked if I wanted something else and I said no thank you. She proceeded to bring me a box for the food I was never going to touch to take home and a menu. I asked at least 3 times for her to remove the plate and she didn't and had to decline ordering something else 2-3 times. I wouldn't have minded paying for the soup I ate that came with it, but I'm pretty unhappy we paid $25 for an inedible entree because they still charged us for it. Everyone else seemed to think their food was ok or good. But mine was plain awful.

We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Once we were seated our waitress took our drink orders and brought us the chips and salsa. This was very important because we were all famished. I feel we should've been seated at a regular table since it was a little squished. There was a lot of options on the menu to choose from. The waiter asked if we wanted anything to drink. Everyone got water and one also got a diet soda. We also got complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was your average salsa. I decided to get 2 item combination plate. I got the tamale and the ground beef enchilada. The plate comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. The portion would fill up someone who was hungry. Some of the people at the table had taken some leftovers home. The Spanish rice had flavor. The refried beans was average. Tamale was a litte dry so decided to put some salsa or the enchilada sauce on it. The enchilada was good. If you want a filling meal for a reasonable price, then this restaurant is a good option.

Stopped in Selma coming back from the Bay Area. Looking for a quick lunch, wanted pizza and salad…read morespot and found Rosa's Pizza. When I walked in there were a couple people eating in and a couple people doing take out. The girl helping me was pleasant, I was not sure what I wanted, so she gave me a few minutes. Ended up going with the lunch special (personal pizza and a soda) I added a small half green salad, wanted blue cheese, my favorite, but she said they were out, so I went with the Chinese dressing they had. I probably would skip the salad next time unless they had blue cheese. The salad was very basic, I did ask for no cheese on it, but even with that being left off, there was not much too it and the dressing was not what I expected. But I do love salad, with blue cheese it would have been decent. The Pepsi from the machine seemed to have very little carbonation, not the best. Enough with the so, so, what saved it for me was the pizza. The pizza has a thicker crust, a bit chewy, crispy outer crust and a sweet taste to the dough. The personal lunch special comes with five toppings. I got chicken, chopped garlic, tomatoes, spinach and mushroom. She put a nice amount of topping on the pizza and they all tasted very good, fresh and complimented each other nicely. The pizza alone is probably enough for lunch and I did not need the salad, but they just go together. Inside has many booths to sit at, look like there was a bar at one point, but maybe not used any longer, 4 big TV's on the walls playing music and various shows. Go to Rosa's for the pizza, skip the garden salad or opt for one of their other salads, may have more to them and hopefully they get blue cheese back. Enjoy!
