    Taco plate w/ adobado
    Dan C.

The best tacos I've had in a really, really long time. The adobado was tender and flavorful, the tortillas were (I think) handmade, the rice was really fresh and well-done, and I don't really like refried beans but these were delicious. Everything tasted like a lot of love went into it, and the guy working the front was super nice and helpful, too. I'm glad I found this place

Shrimp ceviche tostadas topped with avocado - This was my favorite (and possibly healthiest) meal during my Fresno work trip! Recommended by our contact who advocates for underrepresented communities receiving contaminated water, we walked in there and immediately knew it was a hit just by the delicious smell coming out of the kitchen and several tables of locals hanging out chatting. A table of construction workers was enjoying shrimp ceviche tostadas and I couldn't look away or stop Being a "shute" (Guatemalan slang for nosy; interchangeable with "metida"). I asked for whatever they were having and the waitress said it wouldn't disappoint. she was right! They keep it simple: diced tomato, onion, cilantro, cucumber, halved shrimp marinated in lime juice. Our table also had the adobada & asada burritos and some type of steak guisada (in tomato sauce). Even the handmade tortillas were amazing.

Menu of what they offer, pretty well priced for being in a small town

For being in Riverdale it was good. Service was great the young women taking my order was kind and knowledgeable of the menu. The prices weren't too bad for it being in a small town. We got a carne asada burrito, asada fries, 3 tacos plate with beans and rice, and a cheeseburger with fries, and an horchata Burrito-nothing special but good, the meat could of been more moist in my opinion and the salsa could use some working. Not bad, just not my type I like. Veggies in it was a good touch as well but I would of liked some crema or cheese as well. It was also huge! So you totally get your moneys worth Asada fries- Husband said they were good and fulfilled his craving. We did get both the nacho cheese and shredded cheese per the waitresses suggestions. Asada taco plate- typical nothing amazing. Beans were really good and tasted like homemade the rice was ok but it could of been fresher, but I'm super picky with rice so maybe that's just me. Cheeseburger and fries- Friend said it was really good and fresh, the fries were super fresh and great amount as well Overall it was yummy food for very limited choices. I'd go back maybe during the lunch hour to see if the food feels more "fresh".

Only townies get vip benefits, and even then the food sucks, if you're from out of town then act rich.

By far the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I highly recommend this place if you are nearby. Customer service was great as well.

There was fried hair in my burrito that had been cooked in with it. I was extremely grossed out and disgusted. Never eating here again.

Review for the resort and the restaurant incoming!…read more Stayed with the family for a night on our way to Southern California as we were in need of respite after crushing Bay Area traffic. The room was very clean, and solidly appointed for the price (under $200 with AAA discount). In the morning we took a swim in their gorgeous swimming pool. It was an early morning because he had to get back on the road. But, if I were to linger it would be right next to that pool or that awesome horse shoe bar across the lot at the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome. I had the country fried steak and eggs. It was a very tender piece of tenderized steak and the gravy was lights out $29.95. Kids had the "little cowpoke" which was a pancake, bacon slice and an egg for $8.95. The pancake was tasty and the bacon was a large cut (I had to get my Dad tax in). Only downside was the avocado toast (but who would order that at a roadside cow restaurant?) My wife would! HA! It was $18.95 and she felt like she was being punished as it was just a single slice of bread with avocado and two poached eggs. She was really hoping for a larger portion for the price. Overall, it was a really solid 5/5 experience. We left something in the room accidentally and the front desk called us before we even noticed. They said they'd take care of it and we will cruise by on the way home to grab it. Really awesome customer service. For a resort in the middle of nowhere I get no real complaints. I mean it smells like poop outside but there's like a million head of cattle down the road so that makes sense. Also, no foul smells in the hotel or restaurant. They do a good job keeping it out.

The interior is modernized (not overdone), clean, and welcoming, with a nice quote on the wall that adds character. I ordered the breakfast burrito ($11). It's simple but very well seasoned (scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheddar cheese). No meat, which I was craving, but the herbs and spices definitely carry the flavor. Not sure what they use, but it's tasty. Portion-wise, it's a solid medium-to-large burrito and comes split in half, so it could easily be shared. I've seen bigger burritos elsewhere, but this one is filling enough. That said, $11 feels a bit pricey for something so simple. I totally understand inflation, but I think adding a protein option like bacon, ham, or sausage would really elevate it and make the price feel more justified. Service was quick; about five minutes total and the cashier was very friendly. I mentioned it was my first time there and that I'm part of Yelp Elite. I kind of wish there had been a bit more engagement at that point, like suggesting a popular item or checking with the manager about anything for Yelpers. Not a dealbreaker at all, just a missed opportunity to go the extra mile. Overall, good food, chill environment, friendly service, and efficient turnaround.
