7/12/25 Getting breakfast for tomorrow! Chili Verde breakfast burrito with egg white, extra hot sauce on the side. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Arrived and checked in. Greeted by many. Order was ready. I paid for it and wished a good day! Great! Clean, safe & practiced. Lots of seating and a nice, calm country feel. 7/13/25 Shoot Sunday everyone! Breakfast burrito split. My half was fresh & DELICIOUS! Great egg white, large amount of meat & even better with the salsa & jalapeño to spice it up! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she gets up to have hers! Great service & GREAT breakfast burrito! Highly recommended!

I don't usually post like this, but I had to today. I ordered the eggs and bacon with the crispy hashbrowns at McCoy's Restaurant in Selma, CA. Sometimes the cook will reduce the size of the portion and cook them thin, not the best. But today the cook did it right? Everything to my liking, and the hashbrowns were spot on, nice and crispy outside soft on the inside. So I took the time to compliment the staff, cook, and the owner, Mike. What a great guy. I've been here a lot and everything is good. And the price is comparable to anywhere else you'd go. So if you get by Selma way, make sure you stop in at McCoy's restaurant right off the freeway 99. ~ PQ

While on a road trip we came across this place on accident and decided to eat there. Food was full of flavor! We went with the chile verde burrito and chile verde skillet with over easy eggs, it was sooooo delicious. The food was served extra hot which allowed for each bite to be warm, love it. We also got a biscuit and gravy to try it and we are so glad we did. The biscuit was big and moist, the gravy was not overly thick and had such great flavor. Meal also came with a pancake that was the size of the plate!!! The wait staff was very attentive to refills and nice. It was busy but so worth it. The coffee was a perfect blend. Although they were extremely busy, the wait for our food was not long. Portions are big so one burrito can feed possibly two people. The building has character as well as the inside telling a story that you can see on the walls with the memorabilia. "If you're eating, thank a farmer. If you're eating in peace, thank a veteran." We will be coming back whenever in the Selma area.

Even now, whenever I have a reason to pass through town, I make it a point to stop by. The food has always been consistently delicious, with generous portions and flavors that keep me coming back year after year. What makes this place special, though, is that it's a true family-owned business with deep roots in the community. In a world where so many local restaurants have come and gone, it's great to see a place with so much history continue to thrive. Sal's is one of those restaurants that feels like a part of Selma itself. Great food, great people, and decades of memories. Highly recommended.

I feel we should've been seated at a regular table since it was a little squished. There was a lot of options on the menu to choose from. The waiter asked if we wanted anything to drink. Everyone got water and one also got a diet soda. We also got complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was your average salsa. I decided to get 2 item combination plate. I got the tamale and the ground beef enchilada. The plate comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. The portion would fill up someone who was hungry. Some of the people at the table had taken some leftovers home. The Spanish rice had flavor. The refried beans was average. Tamale was a litte dry so decided to put some salsa or the enchilada sauce on it. The enchilada was good. If you want a filling meal for a reasonable price, then this restaurant is a good option.

We sat at the bar and didn't get helped until about 10mins after while they sat everyone else. Unfortunately there was the "bartender" and one waitress for the whole restaurant. So sadly we were attended to as often as we needed. Like when the food came we had no napkins or utensils. We asked for some and took about 5mins to have them brought over. The bartender was very apologetic throughout but instead of saying sorry everytime she saw us help us out. My husband ordered the tritip sandwich with chili.
