This is a neat grocery store with so many options for produce, unique international fruit, deli meats, pizza, easy meals, salad bar, coffee shop, etc. My Kroger membership needs in-house change to HT card but the staff is super helpful. Parking is ample and the fresh bread, bakery section is super for quick school needs and such. I love the Simple Truth ingredients line and shop a lot of that owing to clean ingredients. For a picky shopper, this is a really easy store to navigate your choices for specials, gluten free foods, fodmap free foods and all kinds of clean ingredients. Love Harris Teeter!

This Harris Teeter has a lot of good deals lately! I was able to get some seafood from here at $7 / pound! Single digit price for sea food please sign me up! The staff was SO nice and even walked me / took the time to instruct me on how to cook shrimp for the first time!! That extra step makes a difference for a repeat customer like me!

They basically run a brothel out of this movie house, and I think it's got to be illegal. Oh wait sorry that is a review for "Whorish Theater" not "Harris Teeter." I hung out at this overpriced grocery store for a good four or five hours, two nights before Thanksgiving. The night after, I hung out at another nearby location. I like both of them. It has Wi-Fi and places to sit which I appreciated. But it got really really cold because the Outlets were right by the doors. Another thing I don't really like about it is that the cops seem to hang out in the parking lot all night looking for people to give tickets to. For this reason, I prefer the other one. And yes I shopped here. Big thick curved rock hard bananas, if you must know. Among other things.

They try to be part of the solution for recycling.

Here are some highlights: Pros: a) Free Wi-fi b) On site Starbucks c) Pharmacy (not 24hours) d) Nice selection of Fresh Produce. e) One of the few grocery stores in Cary where a custom steak can still be cut. f) They offer a high quality paper bag with handles. Good for reusing. g) Good variety in their deli. h) Above average ice cream and novelty selection i) Fairly good Soup and Salad Bar j) Plentiful parking available. k) Two indoor Redbox DVD rental machines. L) Their restrooms are consistently clean and well stocked. Cons: a) They recently remodeled this store, and although it likely wasn't their goal, I feel they constructed new physical barriers, and this has caused the service level to decline. b) The pharmacy now has a new jumbo monitor, and privacy wall. *Ordinarily, this might seem like a pro for the customers, however in this case the monitor is not visible by the client, and both literally block the team's ability to see the customer. I've mentioned this to the pharmacy team, and not only are they in agreement, they seem borderline ashamed by the changes (clearly out of their control). c) Grocery pricing remains high on several staple items. d) They have a pizza bar, however since the product doesn't move, it often looks less than stellar. e) Their Hot bar features Asian Food. Sadly, this area typically appears even less attractive than the pizza bar. I believe it comes down to volume. They can fill up the hot buffet, however if the food just sits there... f) The pharmacy isn't open 24 hours, and closes for 30 minutes during the afternoon. g) The cash register areas are very narrow, and cashiers are often forced to ask customers to move, so they can swing a cart around the area designed for the customer to be positioned. This makes focusing upon how much one is being charged a challenge.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Perhaps the manager this morning should take a crash course in how to treat customers...

The store was quite pleasant and sizable inside. To get any deals you had to sign up with their rewards program, which I couldn't figure out how to do during my hurried visit. Thus, the prices that I found were on the higher side, but I got a lot of vegetables and fruits of quality ranging from good to marginal and a few niche special dietary items like banana milk. There was only one person working a register so I ended up finding the self-checkout, which worked out fine.

There was a big selection of produce and meats, and the canned and bottled beer selection was actually pretty impressive - definitely better than the other grocery stores in the area. I was also entertained by the presence of the bar :) Maybe I'll grab a beer sometime! The bar also offered coffee drinks, and my wife grabbed a latte to sip while we walked around. It was affordably priced and my wife said it was pretty good! All of the food seemed generally high quality, and the prices were a tiny bit high but nothing crazy. I'll definitely be back to buy some groceries!

Came here on a very specific mission: Thai pantry reconnaissance. If you cook Thai food, you…read morealready know the heartbreak of bouncing between stores looking for that one herb that makes or breaks a dish. Happy to report--this place delivers. First pass through produce and I'm already mentally planning three meals. Chinese broccoli (gai lan), Green papayas, Green mangoes, Garlic chives, Thai eggplants, culantro--stacked like they knew I was coming. And then the unexpected jackpot: baby mangoes. Not something you casually stumble upon, and definitely the kind of find. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate given how deep the inventory goes. Only tiny hiccup: no Thai basil on this visit. Not a dealbreaker, but the one missing piece in an otherwise near-perfect haul. (I'll forgive it this time because... baby mangoes.)

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.
