I've had breakfast here for the past year more than ever. I drive past this place on my way to school and the gym. I absolutely have to have this places Iced Coffee vanilla or hazelnut depending on my mood that day. Two of the many people that work there get my coffee order correct all of the time. And make it delicious! They have GLUTeN free Bagels, minis and regular. They also have delicious looking Muffins which I have Not had. I am dying to have their chocolate cheese muffin. They have other breakfast and lunch sandwiches which scream at me I just have not had the time to wait for them. Depending how early in the am you get there it can get very packed and some patience is required. It's a very small place so not meant for sitting and eating more like Grab and go. I am very done with this place. undercooked bagels, 20 minutes waiting on line. I've been putting up with that for a long time because it was still a convenient place and sandwiches are decent. Today was the last straw. At 1:30pm I'm being told I can't get breakfast sandwiches. Store is open until 3pm. I'm sorry this is a bagel place that won't serve breakfast?! I'm taking my business elsewhere. This bad service is probably why their other location in New Rochelle failed too. read more

Got here early one Saturday morning for coffee. Yes the queue was super long but it moved with a quickness. Make sure you have your order ready to rattle off because when you hear "next please" ain't no time to waste. Who needs that? However milatary style the men behind the counter operate though, I witnessed no rudeness...at all. In fact I very much like the order they command. Still, I fumbled my order *slaps forehead* when it was my turn. The gentleman was patient with me though. Who messes up a coffee order? Me, I do. Very clean takeout shop. I've been going to this deli since I was in high school because it was right around the corner. We always referred to it as "the deli in Chester Heights". Before they remodeled the store I used to always come in and get a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll with hot chocolate. Recently I started going back to this place with friends for breakfast before clinical's. Their french vanilla iced coffee is really good. Sometimes it can be on the sweet side so tell them not to add any sugar. Pros: Convenient- This place is really close to my house and super easy to get to. They have a pretty big parking lot so parking is never an issue. Staff- The staff is friendly. Sometimes too friendly lol. The coffee- the coffee is always fresh in the mornings. I've never had an issue with it They take debit without you having to spend a certain amount. They also take cash Cons: The lines can sometimes get really long due to the popularity of this place. There is a HS near by so students and staff often come by in the morning before starting their day The place is really small so sometimes you feel like you're in the way and don't know where to stand. read more

Terrible! Just left there. I ordered a bagel with bacon and cheese on a plain bagel for my daughter and it was not cooked. Then on top of that they overcharged me. When I questioned the price they gave me the receipt with just the amount charged on it. I will never enter this store again. I tried calling but they did not answer the phone. Side note- all the salads in the refrigerator display case had that crust on top of them that forms from sitting there too long. Therefore, the food is not fresh as well. Gross. read more

Not the best bagels and breakfast/lunch but it is the only decent place in the area so I think that's why it's always busy. Coffee isn't that great either, but if you try it iced, and with a flavor, it tastes 10x better. I am disappointed that they changed their bacon to that cheap bacon that places like Dunkin' Donuts sells. Bring back the good, thick, delicious quality bacon you once had! I no longer enjoy bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches here, or even BLTs. Bummer. The service is always quick and friendly, regardless of how busy it is. I agree with one of the reviews on here though. She mentioned that one of the workers is kind of creepy and looks at your name on your credit card. Totally accurate because he use to do that to me all the time. Sometimes I hated when he took my order because he always looked at me funny, and not in an endearing sort of way, but like a total creepy way. Bagel Deli by far has the best coffee I have ever had and I have had a lot of coffee along the way. The people who work there are so friendly and kind, however my one complaint is the line that accumulates. I hate standing in line for a coffee and a bagel for longer than 10 minutes. There are at least 6 or 7 people behind the counter and the line is still out the door during certain hours! I do enjoy the smell of freshly brewed coffee while waiting in line though! The bagel deli staff work super hard and will ask you your order multiple times so they don't mess it up. The bagels are always fresh and soft and their breakfast wraps are to die for! Called to place an order and left me waiting for 3 minutes and then hung up and called back again. Put me on hold once again for 2 minutes, but eventually took my order. I asked for a whole wheat wrap and gave me a plain white wrap. I also had asked a chicken cutlet sandwich and gave me a tuna sandwich. Horrible... Had to go back to change. I'm unhappy with a transaction I just made here. Went to lunch down the street and stopped here at the deli for some fruit. I put a cup of watermelon on the counter, and the deli clerk told me it was $4.95, which is outrageous to begin with, but the area is a bit pricy so I didn't complain. Took a $10 bill from my wallet and gave it to him. He handed me back five pennies with a $5 bill in his hand. As I reached for the $5, he told me no, I had only given him a $5. I know what was in my wallet since I had just walked out of the restaurant we had lunch at - I had a $20 and a $10 and paid the clerk with the $10. He continued to argue with me that I hadn't given him a $10, and I was on my lunch break and didn't have time to argue, so I just left. Won't be back. read more
