Not bad when you get the entire place to yourself. They have changing rooms and the bathrooms are porta potties. It was super clean. The hot springs were super hot and the water they spray in one section of the pool allows you an opportunity to cool off. They also had umbrellas set up around the perimeter to block the sun. I'm glad it was slightly cooler today from a rain storm as it ended up being the perfect day! We also ordered some food while we were here. I got the smoked trout which came with a delicious salad, all made fresh from their onsite garden. My kids got the pickle pizza, which they let me try and that was devoured! Demi took excellent care of us! I'd definitely come back here! They also offer live music in the evenings. There was music playing while we were here and it was a nice addition. We were specifically told one quad would be a Yamaha, but instead received a different quad that repeatedly shut off during our ride. Based on our interactions with Big Boys Toys, it became apparent that they were already aware this equipment had been experiencing mechanical issues before it was rented to us. That quad eventually became completely inoperable. We immediately contacted Big Boys Toys and followed their instructions on where to leave it. We then had to arrange for someone with a personal vehicle to retrieve the stranded rider. During that process, a second one of our three individual quads also became inoperable. At that point, two of the three quads we rented had broken down, we lost a significant portion of our rental time, and we ultimately had to end the outing early. The personal vehicle used to retrieve our stranded riders also sustained scratches and wheel damage. I contacted Big Boys Toys afterward requesting a refund given everything that happened. Instead, they charged us an additional $260 to retrieve the malfunctioning vehicles. So, in summary: we were provided equipment that Big Boys Toys appeared to already know had mechanical issues, two of our three individual quads became inoperable, riders were left stranded, we had to use and damage a personal vehicle retrieving them, our outing was cut short, and we were then charged another $260 for Big Boys Toys to pick up their malfunctioning equipment. We have photos and videos documenting the equipment and what occurred. Equipment can break. What is unacceptable is renting equipment with known issues and then making the customer pay hundreds of dollars more when that equipment fails. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Big Boys Toys. The owner Ethan is unethical for not only renting out known malfunctioned equipment, but then charging the customer for it. Stay away from this spot.

Yes, this park also has hiking trails, but because there are more flagship or exotic hikes elsewhere (nearby), like Ringing Rocks, I don't come here for general hiking as part of my vacation. . The drive up to the higher 2nd VC is pleasant with one vista. + The view there's nice and serene, . but not unique if you're on a mission for many unique views throughout the Mt West like Shoshone Falls and Berkeley Pit. + Polite, helpful staff. + Water and restrooms at both VC's. + Wasn't sure where I had to pay the entrance fee ;) Moral of the story: if you're committed to snagging a spot on one of the tours, gotta commit to this destination in advance and reduce distractions/other attractions, or have more time.

Others who have fished with your regular rod and reel learned very quickly there is a huge difference between that and a fly rod. Lucky for us we had the staff members from MLBO. They were patient and very knowledgeable with the rods, and specific flies to use, having them on the river with us almost felt like we were cheating. Sure we had to put in the work casting and landing a fish, but each one would point us in the direction to cast and sure enough a few moments later we were struggling to land them. MLBO has generations upon generations of knowledgable, passionate and experienced fisherman. In the military when someone has been on tour after tour we call them "seasoned veterans" or "salt dogs" well the members of MLBO would be the "seasoned veterans of the water" Thank you guys for everything. I couldn't imagine being in your neck of the woods and not wanting your guidance on the water.
