This was after he gave the deck an entire power wash to uncover those places that were covered by the dirt and grime that built up over 40+ years. Color wise It looked brand new after he completed that phase. Bottom line ... Eric is very responsible, courteous and very concerned about doing a perfect job. He has many areas of expertise when it comes to repairing, replacing etc any and all projects you may have. In addition his charges for the work I had done was very reasonable. When our pipes froze during the big storm this January (thankfully, without water in them), we decided to hire Plumbums again. That didn't go as well. Quality of work: The fixes Jim suggested (a series of individual junction fixes) seemed reasonable for the repairs needed, but in some cases replacing whole sections would have been more time- and cost-efficient (according to other plumbers we've had in our home who have seen the work done). And we needed four return visits within our first three days living in the house to address issues that had not been resolved or that popped up as soon as we turned systems on. One problem (heat running constantly on our first floor, making the house over 80 degrees in the winter) was unresolved until I researched possible causes myself and communicated that to Jim, who sent out one of his guys to implement the fix. Professionalism: We were frustrated by the lack of care shown toward our property. Jim's guys left plumbing debris (not just the stuff our homeowner's insurance requested, but just straight-up trash), food trash, and drywall dust in our basement and living areas. This means that the first thing we had to do after driving 3,200 miles to move in was clean up after them. Drywall was removed roughly in several locations, and although patching was not included in the estimate, the cuts themselves appeared unnecessarily sloppy (and our new plumber neatly cuts and replaces drywall as a matter of course, leaving the mudding to us, which is fine). Plumbums did work well with our insurance company to get our claim handled, and ultimately we have working plumbing. But our experience wasn't great.

If not for Lance the problems would still be ongoing. Highly skilled, multiple tools including mini-excavator and he is particular and is careful about your property working to exit your lawn as close to "no trace" as when he arrived. Has worked on many homes and projects in Colchester, East Hampton, Moodus, Marlborough, etc. comes highly recommended.
