They were very efficient and very fast but the woman I spoke with prior to the move ensured me there would be 4-5 wardrobe boxes for all of my hanging clothes, they only brought one. I had to make 3 more trips in my personal car to pick up the rest of my clothes which defeats the purpose of hiring movers. I messaged the woman back on Yelp about this and she left me on read with no offers of a solution for over a year. About a year later I decide to give them another chance and bring up the issue with the wardrobe boxes before. She offers a $50 discount and this time I arrange for 3 people to come and move me from a first floor apartment to a single story home. The most inefficient move I have ever experienced, they took longer to move than when I lived on the third floor and the guys had to wait for the elevator. They moved at a glacial pace and I ended up paying for 3 guys for the same amount of time as it took the first time I moved. On top of all of this they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands so my light furniture has black handprints on it from the moving dust on their hands. One of the guys dragged a piece of furniture and broke off a leg and I watched him use a piece of plastic to wedge the leg back in. Very unprofessional movers in my opinion, only one guy was taking his job seriously and trying to get me moved quickly the other two just lingered around waiting for him to move and package all my things. I didn't see a point in reaching out about the damage or the handprints as the customer service had already proved once your move is complete they could not care less about you. I'm happy I'm in a home I purchased so I never have to experience these movers again.

On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably. But I would prefer an actual mover to do the estimate instead of someone over the phone sight unseen. Even a FaceTime or similar video app that would allow for a visual could go a long way towards aligning everyone's expectations.

Attempted to charge us an additional $2000 for a flat fee move having been involved in multiple cross-country moves, I never had anything broken. They broke so many things. Simply walked away from the move and didn't finish it. I had to finish it using friends and my own truck. Packed delicate antiques in that they were instructed not to and no surprise they broke them. They caused more than $5000 worth of damage. Two of the items were purchased from Sotheby's and they are incapable of ever being sold again in one case the 18 and 19-year-olds doing this move were instructed not to put two items in the back of the truck and actually set them upright so that the legs would not break. They threw them in the back of the truck and they broke they broke too expensive handmade orreries. They broke a water distiller. They broke a 1725 French commode they broke an 1875 mahogany settee. And all of the damage could've been avoided if they had just followed instructions clear instructions both from the client and from the captain who was in charge that day. He was exceptional.
