My husband and I wanted casual, low-key, matching wedding bands, so Kazumi showed us a couple styles and helped us order the rings in our sizes. We had our rings engraved and those were done beautifully. With the drop-off and pick-up, we had to make a couple trips to the store, and Kazumi was always friendly, approachable, and professional. I will start by saying I have bought many pieces from Tiffany's and Cartier over the years and though nice jewelry the customer service has never been spectacular. When we finally made our way to HW, about a month ago, I brought my teenage daughter and my sister with me to buy my first HW piece. We had read on Yelp that Charles made the experience even better. I've found myself in Harry Winston 3 times - twice to browse and once for a private event. Every single time I was treated with utmost respect and unparalleled attention. I've shopped in other jewelry stores in the area and no customer service comes close to Harry Winston's. The most recent visit was an evening about 30 minutes out from closing. After the nice sales lady measured my sizing, she let my ghetto-fabulous ass try on one massive non-conflict diamond bauble after another while patiently explaining the intricate features of each piece. As can be expected, the price points are exorbitant and would require most people to take out a massive loan. However, the jewelry is the most beautiful I've ever seen, in person and photos. It makes you wish that your man would sell all of his belongings and dumpster-dive for food just to give you one of these sparklers. Add in the fact that they're knowledgeable about diamonds and you've got yourself a great place to buy jewelry. The prices at Harry Winston are surprisingly low (they are still higher than your downtown jeweler, but they aren't nearly as outrageous as Tiffany's). Also, if you buy from Harry Winston, you know that you are getting a diamond of the highest quality (i.e., they only sell diamonds f grade or higher). In other words, if you want to take the guesswork out of buying a ring, you might be willing to pay the inflated prices (plus, if you're into brand names, you can say you bought a Harry Winston ring). Based on my experience, I'd recommend Harry Winston to anyone who is looking for excellence, both in customer service and in the quality of the diamond/ring. read more

But, nevertheless, we were greeted warmly and even were allowed to try on a multi-million dollar 10 karat diamond ring. No questions asked. Great customer service. I walked into HW with a hoodie, jeans, AND a backward turned baseball cap .. and I still got great service even though I don't think I needed it. I did feel kind of out of place with my sub-six-digit salary =(. Came here with a couple of friends to try on some engagement rings to get a feel of different styles and the salesperson we worked with was super helpful with all our questions and really sold us on the uniqueness and quality of HW. He noted that every ring is handmade vs. other chain stores (cough, Tiffany's, cough) and that they even offer crazy perks like ring upgrades 0___0, cause after a few years that 15 karat ring is going to get pretty boring, am I right? I was a little irked that were weren't offered drinks like some other customers but I think they know that our group was just small potatoes vs. the older, more well dressed crowd browsing around. Got our wedding bands here - this review is for both Kazumi and Eva. I've always loved this salon, the service is always impeccable even if you're just coming to browse. When it came time to actually purchase, Kazumi was very patient and informative, and helped my fiance and I with sizing. My fiance and I had also gone to Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier, but based on service, fit, and surprisingly on price as well, we chose to go with HW. I'm definitely glad we did! The next time we came in to put in our order, the salon was packed - Kazumi was with a young couple who looked serious about buying an engagement ring on the spot (I remember how fun my experience was, and I wasn't about to ruin another couple's moment with that in mind!), so I waited on a comfy sofa in the back. I was offered my choice of beverages and chocolates, and also took some time to stroll the salon and look at all of their beautiful diamond pieces. Honestly, I realize I was just waiting in the backroom but their service and beautiful salon made me feel like I had died and gone to heaven haha. The couple ended up taking a while longer, so Eva kindly stepped in to help. We discussed more measurements with her and put in our order. Eva was equally kind and helpful, I'm very thankful we got her service as well. After the young couple finished up, Kazumi came back and we finalized the purchase. Lynda is awesome! We flew from Seattle to LA to get our rings at Harry Winston. Before we got there, Lynda worked with us to make an appointment and made sure that she had the styles we wanted to check before our appointment. The entire communication was easy and she replied all my emails very quickly. On the day of the appointment, before we got to the store, Lynda suggested that we could park for free behind the store. Once we walked into the store, she greeted us warmly and provided us with drinks and snacks. This was the first time I have ever walked into a Harry Winston store. I always thought Harry Winston would be a place with poker-face sales persons who would not want to talk to you. However, Lynda changed my prejudice! The entire time I was in Harry Winston store I saw everyone was so happy and also relaxed and didn't I feel any pressure. Lynda helped us went through any questions we had and explained everything we need to know about the products. She also helped us do the sizing to make sure the rings fits. And Lynda always try to make small talks that make us feel that she actually care about her customers. Eventually we made an order for the wedding bands we wanted and Lynda worked with us to place the order and also reminded us that we can have engraving for free. So cool! Since we do not live in LA, she then made sure that she would ship the rings for us with the fastest and secure way once she got the ring. Before we left the store, Lynda even gave us some small gifts from Harry Winston! I went back to Seattle and received the rings within a week with the engravings. And they all packed nicely and Lynda included extra leather pouches that we can use for storing the rings when traveling. That was a good surprise! I then found out that I forgot to ask for a double ring box which would be great to use for the wedding. I send an email to Lynda and she immediately replied that she would ship one for me soon. I received the box within a week alone with a hand-writing card from Lynda. The entire process was so smooth with the help of Lynda. Rui got in touch with me within one day and provides a lot of very helpful information, including the price range, timeline and their stock. My fiancé (now husband) and me decided to travel down and take a look in person. The in-person experience was even better! We tried a couple of designs and Rui is super patient and offers good advice. When we couldn't find the right diamond in store, he searched through their stock in the whole country and even their raw diamond stock to help me find the one I like and within our budget. He also offered recommendations for wedding bands that could go with the engagement ring. We ended up getting the classic solitaire and the Ribbon wedding band.
