It was a really wonderful experience to meet Angelique and Peter. I feel much more knowledgeable about watches and diamonds thanks to my visits to the boutique. I have had the watch for several days and it is my favorite watch that I have ever bought. This particular watch is titanium which is 40% lighter than steel. This watch is good to 300 ft underwater. Also, it looks similar to a watch from Dior, but in my opinion it looks much nicer. Also the Dior watch happens to be more expensive than this one and I like this one more. Was quoted $23,000 which is over $13,000 higher than what you can find on Chrono24 by many sellers. Tried to justify that they "only pay premium prices". A load of dogshit. A brunette girl opens the door to let me in, within one second she says what are you shopping for, I let her know I was browsing. She proceeds to tell me to give the other customer space, though I was not close to him. At this point I'm thinking to myself, wow, This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.... So for Christmas (2018 actually, late review!), I wanted to get my wife something special to commemorate a special year, so of course my first thought was to again put my trust in the hands of the incomparable Peter Marco! This time, he and his wonderful staff helped me to pull off a surprise for her. I arranged for us to be "in the neighborhood", and suggested we stop by Peter's store since we were so seldom there. She was immediately smitten by a jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind oval diamond eternity band, which she adored but I suggested was probably out of this year's budget. She was amazingly disappointed but agreed, and we left, but not before I slipped our sales associate Gina a note asking her to save the ring for us. I came back and picked up the ring a week later. I arranged with Gina that she would give my wife a courtesy call to let her know that the ring had been purchased. Our little girls then told my wife that they would make her a special jewelry box and make her an even better ring, and collected rocks from the garden she thought they were going to paint and glue together. Strolling around Rodeo Drive, enjoying all the sparklie shops & there were more than a few items in various windows that were calling our names.... But what got us through the door at Peter Marco, was their selection of wedding bands. Since I wasn't buying I tried to stay out of the workers ways to help other customers. I just wanted a few minutes to enjoy the higher end of my industry, and about 2 minutes after I had walked in a older woman came up and told me if I'm not buying I need to leave the store or security would be called. I have been searching non-stop for the perfect engagement ring for myself *(I am very blessed and lucky my boyfriend is letting me choose what I want so I am happy!). I saw some rings in the window of Peter Marco while walking down Rodeo and wanted to try on some rings that I saw in the window, to see how they would look on me, as there were a few that I felt could be the ring for me! When I walked inside the store, I was not even greeted by the owner (I believe he was the owner, he was wearing a purple/blue colored suit), who was talking to 2 guys who looked like his friends. A lady greeted me and asked if I needed any help, and I informed her I wanted to try on some shapes I saw in the window, as I feel one of them was a potential for my ideal ring. She told me to hold on and went in the back, she went to the back and was talking to someone, saying there was a customer who needed help. I believe the owner/manager, who was standing in front of me, asked her what I wanted, and she informed him I wanted to try on some rings. He told me he was busy and I needed to come back another time. He stated they were open 7 days a week but now was not a good time as they were having a private meeting. He was just standing there talking to two guys, it didn't seem like a formal meeting to me. I have NEVER had this happen to me, come back?? Another time?? You clearly have staff who are available to help, and if you are having a meeting, can you not hold that in a meeting room in the back? These guys weren't even looking at jewelry? Needless to say, I was extremely appalled by the lack of customer service and hospitality. I am disappointed as the jewels in the window looked beautiful and who wouldn't want to try it on before purchasing?
