The girlfriend and I were in Cancun for New Years. We were staying at the SLS, and we hired an old friend of mine to come take professional photos of us. After getting done with the photo shoot, we invited them to dinner outside the resort. A colleague of mine recommended Harry's, to which we agreed to come dine here. This place is elegant, and the food more than matches this vibe. We sat down, and ordered drinks while we waited for our food. We all ordered filet mignon each, with a variety of sides to include sweet potato puree, as well as macaroni and cheese. The food exceeded my expectation, even the dinner bread was tasty and a bit addicting. The highlight was their signature cotton candy, which came on a display showing the restaurant name. The service here was very good. Our waiter took good care of us. He and the staff kept a tight ship, delivering great and efficient service. The other patrons were a mix of fellow tourists as well as locals, and all added to this elegant vibe. Harry's was most definitely a highlight of our New Years Cancun excursion. I highly recommend it!
Arturo and Roció were just fabulous servers. They made us feel welcome and comfortable the moment we walked in. We went at 6:30 and had a great time watching the sun set as we nibbled on shrimp cocktail. We shared the tomahawk and Harry's potatoes. It was our anniversary and we were presented with such a nice cake as surprise. Had we known we would have ordered the ice cream to go with instead of the carrot cake!! Though it was fabulous. Had a photo souvenir taken and ended the meal with cotton candy! All in all a lovely meal and the detail Harry's puts into their service is beyond. (Lighted menus, etc).
One of our favorites from our short time in Cancun. Truly beautiful setting. We sat outdoors overlooking the lagoon. Loved the lush foliage that decorated our surroundings. The service was very friendly and attentive. The bread they bring to the table with a few spreads was very tasty A nice start to the evening. The cocktails were also very good. We started with Caprese Burrata, it was delicious. I had the Chilean sea bass and my husband had the filet minon. Both were seasoned perfectly. We ended the meal with a panacotta which was also very yummy. And of course their signature cotton candy when the bill came. Really beautiful place. They have a piano bar inside and a live singer. Overall a very nice evening out
We had gone to dinner the night before next door and it was so amazing decided to try the sister restaurant next door. I recommend making a reservation on OpenTable. There is a reservation fee in the event you no show so done get too excited when you see that. The minute you arrive you are welcomed by the fantastic host staff. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic. They have a DJ mixing up the perfect vibe for a steak house. The wait staff team was impeccable as the night before. I started with the Mojito because well why not when in Mexico. I'm not a big drinker so can't tell you it it was the best mojito ever but it was great. We ordered the Harry's Filet Tacos and the Cesar Salad. The Filet Tacos were amazing. They also brought fresh baked rolls with salsa spread and butter. The Salsa were good but a spicy jelly would have really been amazing. They bring out a huge display of all the steaks to your table and tell you about all the amazing options including steaks all the way from Australia. Don't worry about the prices because they are all in pesos but you will have fun bragging to all your friends and just don't tell them it is in Pesos. For dinner we decided on the crispy chicken in au jus and the Ragout rigatoni. Both were amazing!! For dessert we did the Harry's Ice Cream pie. It was fantastic but could have used a bit more fudge topping. I didn't know that at the end they bring you a complimentary cotton candy. It was an amazing presentation and so much fun! The food and staff and ambiance is truly 6 stars!! If you go to Cancun you must come eat here!!
We had several great dinners while in Cancun, but Harry's was definitely my favorite (Also ate at Ilios and Porfirio's which I both enjoyed). The service from our waiter, David, was outstanding. I ordered the Australian Wagyu filet, and it was possibly the best filet I've ever had. Adding the lobster tail made it even better. I finished with the Harry's Pie for dessert, which didn't disappoint. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff went out of their way to make the evening feel special. They brought a dessert and even took a Polaroid photo of us to take home, which was a thoughtful touch. If I return to Cancun, Harry's will be a must.
The waitstaff was incredible chivalrous and attentative throughout the dinner. There are so many good angles for pics and photo ops. The food is cooked incredibly well. We had the waygu, crab cake, and artichoke & lobster starters, then the NY strip and everything was fantastic. Edgar and Pedro are spectacular, their attention and the DJ during the dinner kept the energy and vibe going
This review is not only for Harry's but Harry's sister restaurant as well... Nicolette's! Same company both a complete disappointment!!! Harry's was so over priced it was like getting robbed on the street! When you go to an upscale steak house the last thing you should ever expect is your salad to come out with your entree's They did! Steak which when on display was supposed to be "tender and flavorful" it was tough and bland. I happened to order the Lamb Rack...medium!! It came out basically raw but I was told by my server it was medium! After cutting into it in front of the manager he saw it was raw and went to cook it further... crumb topping was now not evident and lamb was dry! Between the over dressed Caesar salad and the entire meal showing up all at once the $315 price tag was ridiculous!!! This after they took off the lamb and salad!! Nicoletta...could be the worst experience I have ever had...since my hand is tired of typing let's just say burnt gnocchi bolognese and a warm $56 bottle of Pinot Grigio that then was removed from my table for over 20 minutes brought back only to be charged for a second bottle of water says it all!!! PLEASE!!!! Do not waste your money!!!
Me and my boyfriend came here for our 2 year anniversary and it was great! The ambiance was amazing during sunset and perfect for photos. The staff was awesome - the manager came and checked up on us, they gave us free champagne and dessert to celebrate and they even came over to take a polaroid photo for us as a keepsake! As for food to start they brought out the brioche buns which were light and fluffy goodness. We got the crab and artichoke dip which was yummy - 8/10. We also got the crab legs which were okay but a little dry - 7/10. For our mains I got the grilled octopus which was so so good - 9/10 and i got a side of sweet corn with truffled cream (must get!!) - 100/10. My boyfriend got the filet with lobster mac and cheese and he said it was great!! Overall I'm so happy we came here to celebrate. The staff was 10/10 and made our day very special. Thank you harrys!!!
Wow! The food was absolutely amazing! NY strip, tartar, octopus, and lamb. Then there was the service! The staff was on point and filled our water glasses, wine glasses and margarita glasses whenever we were dry. They were so friendly and informative. This is day 6 of our Cancún trip and this was the best by far! Jasmar our server was fantastic! It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and if you want something amazing then this place is for you! Oh then there was the desert! Oh my!
Came here for part of my birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. From the entry to the service to the food and the views. Everything was really nice. The menu lit up which was great becuase the lighting was a little dim so you can actually take in the sunset. While we didn't get a seat outside, you could still see the view from the inside too. They had a DJ and he was amazing, it totally added to the whole "feel" of the place. Just a very sexy vibe. They bring out the various cuts of steak for you to choose from which is also a nice touch. I told them it was my birthday and they not only brought one free birthday treat but two! I've never had that happen before! I will be back, Harry! :)

What a fantastic stop while in Cancun! The service is absolutely top notch. The waiter was knowledge about the meats and gave sound recommendations. They also have a delicious wine list. We started the night with oysters and hamachi sashimi, which I highly recommend. We nibbled on the house bread, also very yummy. We then ordered filet mignon and the surf & turf. The steaks were incredible! We finished the night with the chocolate bomb dessert and loved its little show. At the end of the night, they brought out the massive cotton candy, which delighted all of us. Highly recommend those visiting Cancun to make a stop at Harry's. You won't be disappointed! read more

It's a go to restaurant to impress people, to see and be seen. Everything here is good but i like the -corn (seriously it's my favorite corn in the world) -mixed sashimi plate -crab cakes -lobster tacos -oysters -martinis If you go there often enough or are important enough you might get your name engraved on a steak knife. The atmosphere is bougie and fancy. Bring your manners and your money. read more

Arrived in Cancun and drove straight to Harrys I couldn't wait any longer! I was amazed by all the safety precautions going into the restaurant. As always service is always top notch. I ordered the grouper and my wife ordered the filet both melted in our mouths. Brady making our cocktails to perfection. I plan on eating here every day while I'm here. read more

While staying in Cancun... my group of friends and I didn't have the best experiences with food at our hotel so I decided to look up a good food spot on yelp. I decided to give this place a try and it was the best choice by far! My friends and I were very happy and satisfied with the food and the exceptional service that was provided to us. They made our friend's birthday special. Can't wait to come back to this place! It was a bit pricey but worth it! The experience, the food, and the ocean views were so beautiful! This is definitely a romantic spot to experience with your significant other. This place is fancy and I definitely recommend a dinner table outside by the ocean. read more

I came here with my husband, my sister and my sisters bf and the food was superbbbbb!! But get ready to spend your money cause you are paying for quality. For appetizer we got seafood tostada and beef tartare. Both were really great! My sister and I preferred the tostada and the men preferred the beef tartare. Might be a preference thing. For our drinks we got whiskey cocktail, margarita, and a dirty martini. The whiskey came in a glass box filled with smoke so the presentation was cool. For the entrees we got stone crabs, wagyu beef, tomahawk steak, Alaskan king crab legs with a side of creamed spinach and Harrys potato's. The stone crabs were delicious and so fresh. Someone in our group actually does not like seafood but he tried the stone crabs and said they were tasty. So there's that! The wagyu beef was amazing. Melted in your mouth! Tomahawk was also good. Typical to what you'd expect a tomahawk to be. Giving it 4 stars because the Alaskan king crabs were disappointing as it was rubbery and the sides were also okay. Didn't really care for it. read more

Growing tired of resort restaurants while on vacation in Cancun, my palate was craving for authentic fine cuisine. I decided to give Harry's a try. Boy am I glad I did. Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm welcome by the hostess who seated me by the waters. From then on, I felt like I was on cloud 9. My waiter, Nayson, and captain, Ovidio, were most accommodating and attentive. I ordered the Black Onyx rib eye paired with Arbol Torcido cabernet. Mm Mmm~ delicioso! We came to Harry's to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful and you have the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The steak selection was good quality. My wife and I chose the black onyx ribeye which was great quality meat, however the way that it was cooked messed the flavor up. It had a charred taste to it. The service was amazing but there's so many people watching you that you don't really feel like you're able to relax. The baby carrots also had a charred taste. I wanted to be able to give this restaurant five stars but the food preparation killed it for me. Also the DJ music was pretty loud for a romantic dinner place. This was a one timer. read more

This is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever gone in my entire life. The view is AMAZING at night. The service is extraordinary. They are very attentive and will help you with absolutely anything. They escort you to the beautiful restroom, constant refill your drinks and can customize birthday specials. Overall it was a 100/10 experience and everyone who visits Cancun should most definitely come here. What can I say about Harry's? Me and my husband attended dinner for our honeymoon trip. From beginning to end the service,food, ambience, entertainment and staff were impeccably AWESOME! If you're looking to have a beautiful, romantic or even just a great all-around dinner you can't go wrong by visiting Harry's. The ocean views are incredible and again the service, food and staff were also! Thank you Harry's for an amazing honeymoon dinner! Be back as soon as possible! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! The view was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the service was excellent! Everything we ordered was top notch! They servers were quick to refill water, they give an explanation of the different cuts of meat for the steak, and they are constantly checking if you need anything! I would come again and again if I lived here! read more

My wife and I had and Amazing experience! We sat outdoors on a beautiful night with view of downtown Cancun in distance. Service was impeccable thanks to Nayson and Jerry. There attention to detail was well done. The GM also stopped over twice to check-in on us. Nice touch! Meal was terrific. Our Ceasar salad was prepared tableside (split b/w us). Prime Tenderloin and NY aged strip steak were cooked to perfection and went well with our bottle of wine. Sides included corn with truffle cream (delicious) and potato tower. Carrot cake and coffee for desert. Harry's provided complimentary fresh rolls with 3 spread options and Cotton Candy (yes!) to end the evening. Ambiance was energetic with live music during a portion of our seating. Could be loud for those sitting inside but fine with us outdoors. All birthday celebrations had a cake with sparklers and individual guests receiving sparklers to help celebrate. The menu has enough options to help you stay with-in your budget. A must visit while in Cancun. read more
Holy COW Batman! We love Harrys! I've got to say we were pleasantly surprised. We are kind of cheapskates and don't usually spring for pricey dinners. With a 20% tip our bill was $134 usd for the 2 of us. It was worth it. They start you with bread and chips with butter and 5 sauces that range from mild to stupid hot. I liked the red but I have to warn you about the habenero. You are warned. Also, the bread was unreasonably good. We had the prime ribeye and a deconstructed chicken dish as our mains. I will tell you that it's a la carte because they told me that, but both dishes came with sides so it really isn't. On to the meats! The rib eye was excellent. I had it cooked medium so I could share with my super fine wife. She likes it well and i like it raw. But it actually came closer to medium rare and she was cool so we ate it. Really an excellent steak. I was hating those sides because I wanted all my steak! I will say that they sprinkled it with a coarse ground salt. And i don't salt my food so I ended up taking some of that off. Still it was yum. Worth the 50 bucks. The chicken was good. It was heavily sauced in honey chipotle. Apparently, they marinate it for 8 hours. It easily could have fed us both. But the ribeye was better. The ribeye came with a fat carrot stuffed with green beans. It was well cooked and good enough. The chicken was cooked with tomatoes, onions and potatoes. My hot wife ate all those potatoes so they must have been good. The onions were way good with a very earthy flavor. I'm an onion man. So why am I telling you about those sides? Because we also ordered a la carte. And it was wayyyyy too much food. We got the mushrooms in white wine. Would not order them again. They were fine, but not special. We also got the garlic mashed potatoes. I tend to get these at every steakhouse and these may have been the best I've had. So the moral is to ask what you are ordering. The service was really exceptional. We have had great service everywhere here in Cancun, but this was over the top. Truly. Ruben really topped it. And finally, if you read this far, after you eat and pay the bill they bring you a giant, massive, huge, over the top skewer of freshly made cotton candy. Dude. Well done Harrys. . read more

Five star experience from the beginning to the end! It was easy to make a reservation and as soon as we were being walked to our table it was evident that they pay attention to all the tiny details. They pulled out chairs for us both... my boyfriend's napkin blew away and he went to get it and our server not only gathered it but brought out a new one and placed it on his lap.... The food and drinks are just dream worthy. I started with the shrimp... a sizable dish made for two... the lobster bisque was quite tasty... and the Alaskan king crab ravioli was yum! Perfect balance between sauce.. pasta.. and nice bites of crab. We were celebrating my b day and they were sweet to bring me a yummy piece of chocolate raspberry cake along with a cute sparkler!! To top it us we ended the experience with big just the check lol but their signature cotton candy along with wet wipes . If I had more time while I was in Cancun I would of went back and I can't wait til the next time I'm sitting waterfront at Harry's!!!! read more

This is my favorite fine dining restaurant in Cancun. The service is top notch and the food is the best around. We visited back in May 2019 and celebrated my husband's birthday there with my mother in law and her husband. The steak is always cooked perfectly (I got the filet) and the sides are all very good. My favorite appetizer is the kind crab leg with the jalapeño sauce. It's worth every penny! People love the cotton candy dessert but what really shines here is their lava cake dessert. To die for! While in Cancun, if you are looking for a steakhouse, please stop look at other places and go to Harry's. I visited the place specifically for Tomahawk. Started with Appetizer, Roca Golden Shrimp and it was just the right thing to kick off the dinner. For main course, got their Black Onyx Tomahawk Steak (Portion size 2) and let me just say you will regret if you get anything else other than Tomahawk. Perfect seasoning, cooking temperature. Presentation of the steak is great. The restaurant manager serves the tomahawk. Kept the side dish little light and got cream corn which was also a hit. To finish off, I got Harry's Pie which was Oreo cookie based and macadamia nut ice cream. At the end, they will present you with complementary cotton candy, so save some room. The restaurant environment was casual and very welcoming. All the staff starting from the host, servers, and manager was extremely friendly. Definitely visit again when I am in Cancun. read more

The view here is what you come for. It is absolutely spectacular. The restaurant itself is also gorgeous. We opted to sit outside in order to have waterfront views. Everything was started out perfect - until cigarette smoke started floating from the front and rear tables. Dear management, might you consider placing signage in your "smoking areas"? We were told that because we were sitting outside that we were in a smoking area. I find it interesting that non-smokers do not have the right to eat waterfront in a smoke free area. That turned me off completely. Cesar Goody was our server. He was excellent at first; lost steam and pleasantries toward the end. I suppose he was put off by my loss of appetite due to the smokers in front and behind me. I realize people have the right to smoke; people also have the right to enjoy a smoke free meal. The blackened ribeye steaks were good. One of our steaks was not cooked well-done as requested; the garlic mashed potatoes were also cold. Both issues were quickly resolved. We enjoyed the rosemary bread and guacamole sauce. The cotton candy provided at the end of our meal was a nice gesture of thanks. Not sure we will return. read more
