Harry's habana hut is a really cool chill spot, right off of bell blvd on 41st ave . I'm literally only 20-25 min walk to the lounge so I'm there almost everyday . Not mention I've been coming here over 7 years. The owner harry is a very cool , chilled and he makes you feel at home . Great seating , TV's going for different sports, and if you want to have a little privacy with your friends can't go wrong in the members only section the day pass is 25$ worth it, BYOB, 2 stick min not bad at all . Wow, wow, wow, and amazing location!!!! Harry is a true gentleman. He's very knowledgeable and makes you feel at home. His prices are very reasonable. I started off with my favorite, Padron 1926, 80 years selection. Perfectly fresh like it was just rolled in there perfect temperature walk-in humidor . It was very comfortable, especially their chairs. They have multiple TVs on the walls to enjoy your viewing pleasure. The ventilation is excellent. The background music was very nice, not too loud, just right to enjoy a conversation. I met a lot of new friends, very respectful crowd and I couldn't help overhearing customers purchasing Harry's own brand. So when I was ready for my second cigar, I asked Harry to please pick me one of his own selection of H.H.H. It was the camouflage, maduro and what a unique wrapper, very smooth and I enjoyed it very much. I could not stop there so my third cigar was another selection of the H.H.H, mild torpedo. Harry's Habana Hut took over this location from another lounge a few years back. Harry did a really great job sprucing the place up. He is friendly, knowledge and helpful when trying to pick out a stick that both fits your taste and budget. Quite a few regulars floating around inside who are always friendly. I was very impressed with the owner Harry and how he spent time with me as a customer. He made me feel comfortable and offered knowledge and suggestions according to my taste. I noticed he had my favorite brand plasencia. We discussed numerous cigar stories about the brands he carries. He has a nice selection of cigars for the enthusiast. He did not pressure me into any crazy expensive cigars. He carries his store brand cigars which he had worked on for a while with a supplier to get the right blend. He also has several type coming in soon. His favorite is the padron. I tried his store brand, the T, and a plasencia ($42 for 3) He was willing to cut the one I was going to have that day and threw in a pack of matches as any cigar shop should. The owner Harry is incredibly friendly , Attentive and never try to pressure you in anyway. He even remembers the cigar I had the first time I set foot into this establishment . Truly a people person. Havana Hut is decent cigar shop. The guys are friendly, couches comfortable, and there are Flat Screen TV's all along the walls with a 60-70 inch at the end wall. By the front door there's a table with a few seats where you are free to bring in food or BYOB. What really made it lose a few stars was the humidor. The cigar selection is decent and priced well, but no hard to find cigars (Liga's, Opus X, any Crowned heads, and Lanceros of any type) and most disturbingly a small section of the wall (glass) by the door filled with moldy cigars. It was about 3 or 4 boxes (a few Olivas). The mold looked pretty bad. I'm pretty sure it wasn't plume or tooth. I touched a wrapper on one and smudged the mold. It was pretty sad. Luckily the other parts of the humidor seemed ok. Smoked a Oliva V in the lounge while watching some boxing and winter olympics with a few pals and a six pack. Place is well ventilated and doesn't get overly smoky. The place is a little dingy but its a man cave and people don't come here for the decor. Hopefully they'll fix the humidor and I'll write an update. read more

When you come here as for Woody. This guy knows everything and everybody. I come here every couple of months, usually after enjoying several adult beverages at one of the nearby watering holes. Habana Hut has a great selection of cigars. From moderately priced to the high end tobacco, they have something for everybody. I enjoy bringing clients here after a dinner so we can sit down and enjoy and after dinner aperitif and cigar. While the place is usually filled with people, it never seems to be crowded. they have several flat screen TV's and many leather club chairs that make it a very welcoming lounge. read more

That's what I get out of the Habana Hut, and that's why I frequent this establishment. Whenever I go there, I find a nice atmosphere where the staff is friendly and helpful. The patrons at the Hut are an interesting cast of characters, and neat people to hang around. There's always a good conversation going, and you're bound to hear a few good stories and jokes. The backbone of the Habana Hut is it's walk-in humidor, that's always stocked with a nice hand-picked selection of stogies. They offer good smokes at reasonable prices, and I usually go for a Rocky Patel The Edge or an Oliva Serie V. They also offer top of the line cigars such as Ashton VSG, Padron, and La Gloria Cubana. It's not the largest humidor around, but I rather like it since I'm a simple guy and I'd get overwhelmed by one that's too big. The establishment itself is gorgeous. There's big, comfy leather chairs and wide screen LCD TV's. The floor, glass, bathroom, and even the ashtrays are clean and well-maintained. The walls have mahogany paneling that was actually made by one of the owners who goes by "Woody." Woody is a master carpenter/woodworker and he also built all of the shelves and lockers in the humidor by hand from Spanish Cedar. The Habana Hut is my little getaway. It's a great place to go in these cold winter months to hang out and have a few laughs. To be concise, fair pricing, quality product, incredible service, and an enjoyable overall experience are the reasons why I keep going back. read more

Came here because I was in a pinch and needed to grab some cigars for a vacation. Unfortunately, will be my last trip here. I am a small business owner myself and like supporting the smaller businesses in the city, but they're up charge is a bit much. About 30-45% more than even Davidoff on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Get outta here! You're in Bayside. Your rent and operating costs aren't Manhattan costs. Never again. Also, selection is quite limited. Buyer beware. I usually enjoy a smoke in my backyard in the warmer weather but it's winter and the wife would kill me if I brought it into the house. What to do? I was looking forward to enjoying a smoke but the shop near me closed. I Searched Yelp for a cigar lounge and behold...Harry's Habana Hut. I drove up Bell boulevard and found a spot luckily on the street almost in front. I walked into the shop where I was greeted by Harry and pointed me into the direction of the walk-in humidor. There were other men watching The Rangers game enjoying their smokes and chatting. I walked into the humidor room and selected a couple of cigars one which I enjoyed there sitting on a comfortable chair. In the back there is a table set up if you want to play board games or cards. Invited my father here for a smoke since he was about to leave the country. Glad I decided to try a new place. First of, the people there, don't know whether they are employees, owners or whatever but they are all dope people. None of that arrogant crap that tends to exist in "clubs" like these. My pops, being the talkative one, actually said to me "I wish I spoke better English so I can just shoot the breeze with 'em." Secondly, the layout is far superior than other cigar lounges. Everything is new, made of glass, tile, or wood. Why must most cigar lounges insist on old moldy wood? Thing is disgusting, can't even go in to purchase cigars, why would I sit there? If you are in the Nassau/Queens area there is no better cigar lounge to visit. The location is on the best block in Bayside, surrounded by Bars and Restaurants. There is a parking lot across the street of the LIRR a block away. Whether you are looking to have a night out and hang at the lounge all night or just pop in and pick up some stogies, this is the place. The new owner Harry put a ton of money into the place, adding more ventilation, TVs, Leather Chairs and of course a STACKED humidor. Each and every time I visit I notice a bunch of new boxes that I have never heard of but always get an explanation from Harry as to how they are. He truly has smoked each and every cigar that he sells and is an expert on the tastes and descriptions he provides you. He will find the perfect cigar for any price point, palate, or preference. They also have numerous events throughout the year with free cigars and raffles. In fact I swung by this past weekend and they were BBQing and passing out Free Food to all patrons. Some people are a bit timid to enter a new Cigar lounge that has its regulars, but I must say that the group of guys in there are very friendly. Especially a gentleman named Jeff that I met, it was a pleasure having a conversation with him. If he is in there be sure to strike up a convo! Hubby later said he's never seen such an amazing selection in any other cigar lounge. He was in heaven with his cigar choice, that the owner Harry, who we met, recommended. My oldest friend, an ex-Baysider like myself, found ourselves visiting our parents on the same weekend and decided to go out together in the old 'hood and catch up. So much changes along Bell Blvd from year to year - we first stopped at a bar for a few drinks but as it was a Saturday evening, business picked up quickly and our conversation was harder to maintain with music and people-volume increasing. So we left and randomly found ourselves walking past Harry's. My friend was really excited to try it out - I was more reluctant, but hey, why not, something new. Neither of us know what we're doing cigar-wise - what even were we seeking, other than to relax and continue our chat? Well, let me tell you, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the vibe here considerably. The host (owner?) was very welcoming and had great suggestions for us newbies for 2 cigars to try from the humidor. We settled into the comfy chairs, fired up, and talked, smoked and watched the Olympics being shown on the big screen above us. Neither of us could finish our cigars (ahem... lightweights..) but enjoyed what we smoked. I appreciated that us ladies could go in, get nice treatment and feel welcomed. I can't say I'd go out of my way to return, just because I'm not a regular smoker and damn did we stink coming out of the place, but I'd recommend it to any cigar enthusiast or even a casual fan. With all the high ratings on yelp I expected this place to be better. At first glance it's in a nice part of town near the LIRR. The place has a beautiful built humidor, a few leather chairs, and a flat screen. They have everything cigar lounges are supposed to have; EXCEPT cigars! The shop owner is a scruffy looking guy who is actually really nice. Maybe he should apply that nice quality about him to his cigar selection though. The selection is horribly limited and the place is always out of stock on the brands they supposedly do keep. They do have a large variety of cigars that I've never heard of. Mostly off brands that I hear customers complain about. The place is not cheap at all compared to other cigar shops nearby where I've heard alot of the regulars say they buy their cigars.
