But it is a great motel - in the old fashioned way- homey, extremely clean, large rooms, friendly staff, pet friendly and very quiet. Most of the people staying there are working in town which may account for how quiet it is- but whatever the reason, we found it to be a great place to stay. I should probably add that with the oil/gas boom going on, there is no such thing as a cheap motel room (and you're lucky if there's a motel with room at all) in Dickinson The prices have gone up at the Oasis ($113 +\-) since Rachel reviewed it in 2009, but happily it has gotten much quieter as well, and it really was a very nice place to stay.
