Not bad. My room was clean and the location was convenient to me for exploring the nearby parks. With a little maintenance, this could be four stars - light was out in the bathroom and a drawer between the two beds would not close, so you banged your knees on it if you got up in the middle of night. I tied it shut until I checked out with a cell phone charger. I requested a king size bed and was given two queens. Not a big deal, but I still would have preferred the king. I was not welcomed as a Hilton Honors member and did not receive the usual water and snacks upon arrival. If I were in the area again, I may stay here though because there aren't a lot of options in the area. read more

I got there in snow event but they didn't plow the snow in their own parking lot for a 24hr period. Several cars including myself got stuck. I parked in a spot near their canopy because I couldn't find any other place and the manager threatened to remove me from my room. They can't take constructive criticism there. This was not a major snow event---everyone else had their snow plowed. This group must have a contract with the local tow truck company. I spent the next night across the street in a different hotel. read more

Not good at all. This place had absolutely horrible housekeeping. We came into our room, unpacked, and to our surprise there are used hotel shampoo and soap bars still in the shower and the fold out bed still had sheets from to the previous guest. Not to mention there were stains everywhere. We found stains on washcloths, towels, and bedding. The staff was polite about it and said it was unacceptable, I agree with them. Completely unacceptable to not have a clean, ready to go room upon request. We were the ones who had to clean up the mess from the last guest. Every soap, sheet, and item, we had to take care of. Would definitely not stay here again, and I honestly am slightly disappointed in Hilton's hotels recently. Just before this we had a bad experience again at a Hilton resort. This is completely improper and terrible. read more

I stayed here right after they opened. There were some definite kinks to work out. Staff was under trained, some construction was still going on and they double billed my credit card which took more than a week to sort out. I don't want to rate them too harshly though because they were just opening and because the hotel met my expectations for a Hampton property in just about every other way. I think once they get up and running it will be a good stop and having a Hilton property in Dickinson is a welcome addition. read more

Upon check in, Alvina was very welcoming and friendly. She told us that they have been sold out for 2 months. That's a good sign, I think! We had been staying at our family farm that was lacking in some creature comforts. So when we walked in our room and saw 2 good sized and cushy beds, TV, and air conditioning, I was tickled pink! The shower felt great. The shower head had many settings and there was nice hot water and good water pressure. We all slept well. Breakfast was fair. We chose this location because it is fairly close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora, a quick 30 minute drive. Another positive Hampton Inn experience! read more

This hotel is clean and all staff is friendly/helpful. The beds were terrible however, the queen beds were fulls, and I woke numerous times. We needed to check out early because I could sleep. If they had good beds, I'd stay here. read more

This is a normal Hampton Inn, same nice people, but the place is dirty. Along the edges in the hallway the carpet has dust. Around the edges of the sink in the bathroom is not very clean. And around the bed and next to the nightstand is absolutely filthy. The only reason For a two star rating is that the people are generally nice. read more

We stay in Hiltons all the time and maybe for North Dakota, this is typical for hotels, but for a Hilton, this is subpar. We are staying here right now and have had issues with housekeeping. I'm pretty sure that if we weren't diamond members, they wouldn't have cleaned our room at all. I was told by house keeping that it is "illegal" for them to come into our room to clean it if we are in here and that it's "illegal" for them to change our bedding if there are personal belongings on the bed. Like really? So if there is a sock in my covers, y'all won't change my bedding?! Remember when housekeeping at hotels used to actually DO THEIR JOB and clean your room? This room is $200/night, and it's a HILTON. At least make it worth our $ to stay here. Front desk in the evening can't even load our key card for more than one day at a time and it's bad enough we have to request each day or every other day to have our room cleaned, it'd be nice if the toilet paper would have been put in the rolls, the counters would have been cleaned off. The floors were also only "spot vacuumed". It's very annoying to say the least!! read more

Lobby smells like a million dirty diapers were dumped on the floor and it somewhat lingers up to the rooms. The bed is like sleeping on concrete. I knew when everybody was taking their showers because the pipes are screaming and now I am because I only got 4 hours of sleep. Don't bother with this place. read more

Awesome hotel ..just as expected and even better really ..after driving 600 miles I needed this place. New beautiful large rooms with good staff and clean. Just everything you expect from the hampton and as a hilton honors member I have been to many of them ..this one is top notch We stayed in a marriott the night before and I am suffering horrible hard pillow neck trouble today from it so happy to be back in a hampton inn read more

Checked in at 8:00PM. Was in my room in minutes. I had a suite, very spacious, very clean, very comfortable and a great firm bed. Slept well. The entire property is kept very clean and fresh. Breakfast is fairly standard for a Hampton. Stayed there 3 nights. I would recommend this hotel as the best in Dickinson! read more

We stayed at Hampton inn in Dickinson 1/5/19 and had to switch rooms two times because there was blood on the sheets and pillow cases. The front staff was very nice and helpful, but when checking out we couldn't get a discount on our stay because we booked through Expedia. I understand how this 3rd payor works and they get paid through Expedia, but Hampton inn cannot use this as an excuse for poor quality. read more

I am a Marriott guy and will only stay at Hilton properties when there is not a Marriott in town. I was in Dickinson on business and stayed here. It was a great hotel. Good service. Clean. Comfortable bed. A lot of channel's on the TV. Breakfast was actually surprising for this level of hotel. I did pay extra for the higher speed internet, and it was painfully slow. They should not charge extra for high speed if it is going to be so slow. * Update: I came back for a second stay and had reserved a king room. When I got there they had kings, but said that I had reserved a queen and wanted to charge me more than $20 extra per night for a king. I left and stayed at another hotel. read more

I am a Hilton honors member so when I travel I am always looking for Hilton resorts. I was excited to find they had one in Dickinson, ND!!! When I arrived the young lady greeted me with enthusiasm and was super friendly! The hotel is SUPER clean and the room I was given was awesome!!! Comfy bed and clean bathroom!!! The shower was amazing - and yes I said shower not bathtub shower!!! Overall great stay - I will be staying here again if I need to come out to Dickinson again!!!! Thanks again Hilton for reminding me why I am a Hilton honors member!!!! read more

Great place. Clean, reasonable rates, very nice people at the desk. Really nice stay.

Great shower, shower head has good pressure and is high for tall people. The bathroom is spacious, lots of room to move about and get things done. Bathroom facility is modern with a large mirror, nice countertop, nice floor, and nice toilet. Beds were very comfortable, room itself is decent size, and decorated with nice neutral yet modern furnishings and colors.  Room could have been cleaner. This appears to be a hotel that does not vacuum all the corners. You can tell were the vacuum head gets along the wall and leaves a strip of dust and cookie crumbs. Same with the corners. However this is a hotel where there were no greasy fingerprints on furniture, so they do wipe things down nicely. read more

I am a Hilton member. I'm on the road with poor service on 94 in North Dakota. I do find a Hampton in Dickinson WITH rooms. I walk into the hotel young women behind counter said "I don't know I think I do. Let me look" she plays with the reservation section on computer. Another women walks down. First women ask if they have rooms lady said just tell me the number on room and I tell you. She said no I'll do this. Then turns to me and said NO I don't. I said on line you do and walked out. But now and hour and half later they still have rooms. Discrimination, for sure. read more

Very accommodating hotel manager helped us get a room the first night as our original plan went to crap as the other hotel was horrible. The suite we stayed in was really nice and we didn't have too many problems the first week we stayed with Hampton Inn. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, just your normal boring hotel breakfast. Unfortunately the suite was too expensive for our continued stay and as we decided to move to a regular room our experience when downhill after that. We really tried to make the other rooms work but for some reason there was always something wrong with each room we tried to make work. First there was the overpowering smell of smoke, then there was the room that looked clean until you removed the top cover and found a variety of dirty things in-between the sheets, and to finalize our disgust the third room had a dingy smell and a dirty bathroom. We found a room that wasn't horrible but thankfully our apartment was finally finished so we didn't have to stay in the room for more than one night. If you only need to stay in this hotel for 1 or 2 nights or you can afford the suite then you won't be too disappointed. Just don't get your hopes up. read more

It's hard to rate a Hampton Inn because they are all the same - and I like that. The Dickinson Hampton Inn is new, comfortable, and everyone seems concerned to be helpful and provide service. I will come to the Hampton Inn whenever I come to Dickinson. read more

Great place, big ole cushy bed, nice decor. Tile shower, great water pressure, fluffy towels. Pool, small but perfect.... Hot tub hotter then average, perfect for those aching bones from driving. Breakfast better then average and the staff delightful. Only minus was coffee only down stairs, not in your room. read more
