Not in the market hall at Findlay but part of the same stretch, this is a Mediterranean grocer that stuffs a fair amount of food into a small space. It's the sort of place where most things seem to be niche local brands or fancy imports, meaning there's very little redundancy with your big box grocer. They are limited on baked goods, but will happily recommend you to a suburban Greek bakery (which I took down and may review some other time). Here, I got some nice dips and pitas, and found plenty worth considering.

This review is for an order placed on a third party delivery app. Overall, I am super pleased that I got to try out some of these treats. I got to try: Crazy Chicken Sandwich - this was definitely the highlight of the meal. I didn't know what to expect but this sandwich was loaded with flavor and I devoured every last bite. Next time, I would definitely order this again. Cilantro Garlic Fries - A little to potato-y, but overall not bad. I popped them into my air fryer to crisp them up a bit more from their travels, but I still really enjoyed these. I'm guessing that they would be delightful fresh at the store. Mediterranean Artichoke Flatbread - This was just okay for me. It tasted like something generally mediterranean, but didn't have a super distinct flavor. I don't think I would order this next time. Date Shake - This is a no from me. This very well may be because I don't like dates as much as I thought I did. Either way, something was missing here and I couldn't have more than a couple drinks of it. Overall, it's a win. While there were a couple things I didn't care for, I really loved that sandwich and can't wait to order it again!

Stopped by this small market while in the Cincinnati downtown area. It smelled like lots of spices and teas when we walked in. And I think there was just about anything you could need or want for Mediterranean cooking in this spot. It was honestly impressive on the amounts of dried goods. We also finally found the date syrup and ginger chews we'd been looking for and couldn't find anywhere back in Georgia. We'd definitely come back to this spot.

A good place near Findlay Market. It has some good Mediterranean food. This is a combination of cafe and store. It has a small menu of sandwiches and smoothies, which you order at the front. The rest of the store has loads of fresh foods, mixes, and sweets. It looks more like a store inside. It however seems to get most of its business at the front counter, where you place an order. There's all the typical Mediterranean favorites like the falafel wrap. In the rest of the store there are many desserts on display. Quite a few appear to be vegan. At least according to the ingredients. There's a particularly large assortment of pistachio cookies, which appear to be fairly fresh and not sitting on the shelves for months. I ordered a Beiruti Fruiti Smoothie and a falafel wrap. This was about $10, which isn't bad for how much you get. Be sure to look around the rest of the store. It has a few seats outside in front. If there aren't enough you can go to the outside of the market.

They have a selection of flatbreads and wraps!

Who knew they had a lunch board?? Not me! During a recent trip to Findlay, I noticed their a-frame on the sidewalk touting lunch items, so I stopped in to check it out. They have a nice selection of unique wraps and flat breads. I opted for a flat bread (which was kind of more like a quesadilla) with fig jam and goat cheese. There was supposed to be kale and additional items, but they seemed to have been left out-even though the cashier specifically asked me about them. The woman just prior to me ordered a couple of flat breads, so I'm going to assume that there was just a small mix up. It was still good, and I was happy to add another option to the Findlay lunch list!

Mango lassi and falafel! Soooo yummy!

My boyfriend discovered this place when he was hunting for some specialty spices and boy am I glad he noticed they sell lunch in addition to having the spices we wanted! We love the falafel wrap and samosas so much it is hard to try anything else but I think I am going to make a special trip for lunch there just so I can try the flatbread with fig jam and goat cheese that I saw in another review. Also try the mango lassi, you won't regret it!

Outstanding market food. Great service. Matches Findlay Market decor. A must do if like Mediterranean style food.

Nearly every time we come to Findlay Market, we come here, if only to buy some cashews and samosas.

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

Great restaurants and shops in and near Findlay Market, Cincinnati!…read more We had a free day while visiting relatives, and any day is fun at Findlay Market in the mid-north of the OTR (Over The Rhine) area of Cincinnati! (Well, not Mondays when they are closed :-). Parking isnt free, but it's not too expensive, and we had no problem finding a space in the North Parking Lot between Findlay Street and the market. We came in through a covered outdoor walkway, with a few vendors and with clever sayings along the sides. Then a cute photo-op with a cartoon Reds statue. Then the market stretching left and right, full of fresh produce, meats and cheese, and ready-to-eat foods of all kinds. On our first walkthrough we just scanned left and right to see some of what's there. It was busy, but not uncomfortably crowded. Out the south door of the market onto Elder Street, there's several murals, and more shops and restaurants. We always stop in at Maverick Chocolate Co. for a few yummy samples from so many flavors. They used to make the chocolate here, and now it's made just across the river in KY, where you can still get tours and probably samples :-). We sampled around six varieties! And decided on four. But it was a hot day, so we decided to circle back later for our purchases. The staff was welcoming, and maybe they didn't really know that we would return, but they were still just as kind as can be :-). We walked west to Elm Street to the stop for the free Connector streetcar, just to take a little ride around town, partly to see some of the hundreds of murals around town! And we got off again, later, at the same stop. Right there at the west end of the Market building there's an outdoor bar and patio. I, myself, was ready for a little refreshment, and they poured me a delicious local bourbon cocktail, while others of us had local craft beers. We found shaded seating among probably 20 or more round red metal tables, with chairs that were really raucous when moved! The seats fill and empty in fits and spurts, and there"s a handful of backless stools at the bar, so if you wait a little, you'll find a place to sit. We dove back into the market for some freshly-made pierogis, and a to nearby bbq, too. And afterwards, we circled back to Maverick for delicious fresh-made artisanal chocolate :-). Yum, yum, and more yum! We saw so many places we want to return to! Findlay Market has everything! I'll post a very few of so many photos that we took of a full, fun day. It's a nice area to walk around, shop, eat, and drink. And it's a great spot to catch the Connector streetcar to get around OTR and downtown Cincinnati, to within a-few-minutes-walk of the porch-swings overlooking the Ohio River near the ballpark :-)

I recently stopped here when me and my wife were in town in cincinnati. I've been to Cincinnati…read moretons of times but I've never visited the Findlay Market. This place was better than most of the Markets that I've been to in recent memory! Some of them are bigger but this one is a medium-sized Market to say the least. They have great produce in one section by the parking. Great variety of stores. I do like the outdoor tables as well. The cons I will say about the Findlay Market are the parking. You are expected to download an app and pay for parking that way instead of just getting a QR code that will redirect you and put in your payment information and the other con is once you leave the Farmers Market there really isn't much to really see or do since it's kind of blighted from a 1 block radius of leaving the market
