I had a craving for some noodles and my daughter took me here since it was close to her home. It was located in a strip mall with sufficient but a little tight parking. Inside was rather functional and we were seated right away that lunch hour. Menu contained a good variety of fried and soup noodle dishes. The fried noodles were also served with a side of broth. I originally wanted wonton soup but deviated at the last minute to try their Dan Dan noodles. My daughter got the beef noodle and wonton soup that she liked. My Dan dan noodles was served with the same soup noodles and topped with a saucy ground pork and veggies. The pork packed a good amount of heat that I liked and enough to coat all the noodles. I personally preferred a thicker noodle but overall a good dish. The same lady who seated us took the order, served us, refilled our waters, rang up the sale and cleaned up afterwards. I had high hopes for this place. The ratings are high. When I stepped in, I heard Cantonese and/or village language being spoken by the staff, which is a good sign. Ignoring the fact that we were the only diners, which is ok these days with many opting for take-outs, I thought the food should be ok. Alas, their food is authentic adjacent but "not it". They look like they should be good, but the tastes are off. I should have guessed things aren't quite right, when the staff struggled to answer my simple question that any normal wonton shop would have understood. The interior is basic and quiet. During our time dining, only one other diner arrived. The Food: Wonton and Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, $14 - 3.5 Stars The beef briskets are reasonably tender. The wontons are acceptable with pork and shrimp fillings. The egg noodles are legit. Soup (or Spicy) Dumplings Noodle Soup, $14 - 2 Stars The Chinese name on the menu calls this Original Soup Sui Gow Noodle. This is a genuine and very good noodle soup at other places. Theirs is not it. The broth is not "original soup", which is a fish-based broth. Theirs is meat-ish, but not meaty and certainly not fish-based broth. It tasted off and weird. The dumplings are not sui gow. They are glorified larger wontons with pork and shrimp. A sui gow typically has Chinese black mushrooms and/or woodear fungus for a varying texture in the bite. The one authentic ingredient of this dish is the egg noodles. Garlic Chicken Wings, 6pc, $12 - 4 Stars These are good - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Not too garlicky but still good. This dish rescued this meal. Lettuce Fish Meat Soup, $12.50 - 1 Star This dish is normally a popular HK street food dish. This dish is not that. The fish pieces lacked flavor and seasonings. The broth, again, is not fish-based but the same meat-ish flavor, same as the dumplings noodle soup. I wish I never ordered this. read more

We came for a late lunch around 3:30 PM on a Friday. The server was attentive and efficient. I wasn't impressed with the iced milk tea--it was small, tasted just okay, and cost $4.50. On the other hand, we found the Pork Liver Congee and Beef Brisket Rice delicious and served in good portions. They also gave us free two curry wontons for us to try at the end. 3.6 stars. Cantonese noodle soup is always a comfort food for me, and I can be a tad picky about flavors and textures. My kids and I wanted some noodle soup on a weekday for lunch. We got the Wonton Beef Brisket Wide Noodles (Ho Fun) $14 regular, Pork and Century Egg Congee $12, a side of Chinese Donut $3.50, and the Wonton Siu Gow dumplings Egg Noodles $15 large. Overall, the food was mediocre and nothing that stands out. The flavors and prices were decent. Server was nice as we were the only ones in the restaurant. The parking lot is small. Delicious Chinese food in Edmonds along Highway 99! We were in the mood for a hot noodle soup on a cold rainy day, and their won ton and dumpling soup did not disappoint. Love the thin egg noodles, flavorful broth, and generous filling of the won tons. Also had the fried rice that had a nice char on the ingredients. It is a mom n pop place very friendly and fast service. The fried curry pork was super tasty. I also ordered the special, fish balls soup. It has chunky handmade paste with fish and shrimp in tasty broth and vegetables. Great if you are going low carbs. The wonton in the wonton noodle is satiating. This is my new favorite Asian restaurant in the north end. I had seen pictures online of the "seafood stir fry udon" and asked if they could substitute beef instead of seafood which they did. They did a great job on our meals and I sure loved mine. Our waitress was fabulous, attentive, and helpful. She also gave us a free sample of something else. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand what she said it was. I think it might've been an appetizer and it was delicious too. I wish I had taken a photo of it, but I ate it too quickly because it was so good. When we first arrived, nobody else was in the restaurant, but shortly after us, the place started filling up. I don't know why this place isn't mobbed. This is the closest thing to genuine Hong Kong food that I found in the Puget sound. It's within driving distance of Everett Community College. The parking lot is a nightmare cuz it's a strip mall, and there aren't a lot of tables, so I'm always amazed when I get in and the place is half empty. They have really really good brisket broth and spicy wontons are worth every penny. read more

Wanted to try this place for a while. I'm moving and most everything is packed up. So, off to find dinner. This is a small restaurant, located in a strip mall. As you enter, there is a chalkboard, with various dishes described. The regular menu is also posted on the window. This made for a variety of choices I had to make. Should I get the pork chops or the congee? The curry wontons or the lo mein? Or one of the specials? As you enter, there are pictures on the wall of menu items. Wish I was hungrier, as everything looks so good. Was greeted warmly as I came in. Several single diners, who appeared to be regulars. They barely glanced at the menu and knew what they wanted to order. My server was quick and efficient. Not very busy on a Sunday evening. After consideration, I'm in the mood for soup. Everything here is bargain priced, no item is over 17.00. I order the beef brisket soup. It's a very large bowl of soup. The beef brisket is plentiful and very tender. There are also onion, green onion and chunks of red bell pepper. These give a fresh crunch to the combination bites of noodles, brisket and broth. The broth has a slightly sweet taste. This flavor complements the heartiness of the beef. The noodle to soup ratio was my only concern. There were a great deal of noodles. I would have preferred more of the broth and less noodles. But this is a very filling dish, I wanted to order more but was too full. I thought this was an excellent restaurant and would love to come back and order more items. An authentic Hong Kong restaurant, as they advertise they have a chef from Hong Kong. It would be fun to come with friends and order many dishes to try out. read more

I will have to go back and get something with pork or chicken. I came here and realized too late that the Wonton Noodle Soup had shrimp/pork. I am not a fan of shrimp. However, my husband REALLY enjoyed it!!! The spicy soup dumplings were good (once I picked out the shrimp too!) haha We ended up swapping noodle soups and I really enjoyed the brisket noodle soup and also ordered some fried pork chops and damn those were good. I just wish there was another type of wonton that didn't have shrimp, because they make AMAZING pork and the pork in the wontons is so tasty! This noodle spot is in a convenient plaza off highway 99. There's a little parking lot attached as well. The restaurant itself is pretty small, sits less than 10 small groups at a time. Ambiance is standard for a small Chinese place. We ordered hot soy milk, dumplings in soup, braised pork belly ramen and beef brisket and wonton noodle soup. The soy milk was okay, tasted like the kind you get from the store. It's sweetened as well. The dumplings in soup were good. Generous amounts of filling, in a hearty broth. The braised pork belly ramen soup was not bad. The braised pork belly had a really nice flavor, and the noodles had a good chewy texture. My only problem with it is that they use the same soup as the ones they use for the wonton noodle soup: has that same distinct soapy flavor that usually comes with wonton noodle soup. The beef brisket and wonton noodle soup was okay as well. Noodles, soup, and wontons were pretty good, but the brisket was not. The cuts given were mostly tendon and fat, and the few cuts that did have meat were super chewy and basically inedible. The portions are pretty generous, but also on the pricier side especially for a Chinese restaurant. Overall, it was okay. Wouldn't personally come again, but probably a fine spot to stop if you're in the area and craving wonton noodle soup. read more

We got the wonton noodles, friend chicken wings, curry wontons, and fried rice. The noodles were on the harder side and the broth was a little bland. I agree with what people say and the shrimp wontons were big and juicy. The curry wontons were crispy, but didn't have a lot of filling. The harvest friend rice was ok. We got the combo but still seemed like something was lacking. The chicken wings were crispy but no garlic flavoring. After a looong day of adventure to the islands, we decided to grab a quick dinner before heading home. I found this restaurant on Yelp as we were waiting for the ferry in Kingston to head to Edmonds. My group and I were very lucky to get a stall right as we got into the lot as we saw cars lining up to wait for a stall. My group and I shared the Deep Fried Bun with condensed milk. It came with 10 pieces which was quite a lot after a full day of eating, tbh LOL. The pieces were a bit fried too long but still delicious! One sauce dish of condensed milk was definitely not enough. I got their Wonton Noodle Soup. The noodle soup really hit the spot with the nostalgic feeling. It was so comforting after being in the rain and cold for the past few hours. The soup had a lot of umami flavor but not enough to make me too thirsty. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the wontons were also super plump which I loved! My boyfriend got their Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. Again, really good with a ton of umami flavor. The beef brisket were super tender and delicious! It was too bad we couldn't do half wontons and half beef brisket though. My friend got their Curry Beef Noodle Soup which was delicious! The curry enhanced the beef brisket flavored, giving it a deeper umami flavor than both our dishes! Mmm, the Hong Kong noodle soups here are delicious! The service was incredibly slow--it took 45 minutes from the time we walked in until all our food arrived; mind you we came in right when they opened up, so it wasn't packed by any means. By the time the last bowl was served, the first person in our group was already finishing up. The waitress wasn't particularly friendly and never cracked a smile during our visit. The food was very meh. Definitely wasn't worth the long food prep time. We came here on a Saturday! Parking was pretty bad, but the restaurant wasn't too overcrowded . They only have one chef when we went so it took a bit more time than expected. The employees were fantastic - very nice and accommodating and food was great as well. I would say it is a bit on the pricy side for what you get. We ordered spicy dumplings (8 pc) for $13, fried rice and beef chow fun which was around $16. The portion is relatively small for what you get (shown in pic). But then again... inflation so maybe I need to recalibrate what is deemed as "expensive". Our whole meal costed over 50 after tip. Living in south seattle, we never come up north to eat. We happened to be at a nearby park visiting with family when my son was hungry and wanted some chow mein or lo mein. My husband loves wonton soup and I thought this place - being rated 4+ stars on yelp would be adequate for both of their cravings. Boy, was I wrong. When we entered, the waitress scowled at me and barked at me how many people were with me. I didn't respond fast enough because I was taken aback with how small and basic the interior was. After barking at me again I said 3 and held up 3 fingers (english was not her first language) and she pointed to a table. I am half chinese, but you dont have to be half chinese to know the type of noodle that should be used for lo mein. What they served us was basically the thin yellow ramen like noodle they serve I'm their soups, with oyster sauce ontop. Pardon me? I think my Cantonese grandmother just rolled in her grave. This was an abomination. The wonton soup was also some of the worst my husband has ever had, and he is not picky. We left most of the food uneaten, paid, and literally ran away. I ended up having to take my son to panda express down the street for dinner. I am so confused as to how there were so many asians dining there and how this place hs such a high rating. When panda express is better than your restaurant, you know you have a problem. Please, I beg the owners, take the lo mein off your menu. It's not lo mein and it's just lazy.
