B5. Thai Iced Coffee

Service and food were good. Favorites were the tom kha and red curry. Both were better cooled down since the aromatics were more prominent. Pad kee mao was good, didn't have much seer on the noodles or wok hei.

I have a happily eaten here multiple times this year, but today will be the last. This is absolutely disgusting! No excuses! There is a dead bug in my food! Manager tried to play it off, saying the bugs were 'angry' after they had pest control the day before. Actually offered to replace my food, as if I'd eat from that kitchen ever again!

Ambiance is good, but we didn't liked the food we ordered. Who knows maybe it's just our taste buds. The service is just okay. Anyways, we will be back and try other menu.

This place just hit the spot for a simple and delicious lunch! Service is great and ambiance is very relaxing. Definitely worth for another visit!

Visiting from out of town for a tournament and stopped here on our way to Canada. This restaurant is beautifully decorated with faux plants everywhere, including the bathroom! The food was delicious, filling, and huge portions. I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken - 10/10. It wasn't spicy at all so I unleashed half a jar of chili paste into it and it was about perfect. Also ordered the Thai tea and I thought it was refreshing and tasty. Staff is super friendly. Will come back if I'm hungry and around the area.

Just opened back up today @25% capacity.

My favorite here is the spicy noodles. I can choose whatever meat I like. It is made of flat thick noodles and stir fried-pretty match and it's spicy enough that I have to drink cold water right away. It's gotta kick and a good one too. Their prices also have gone up and I'm a little disappointed that their portions have also shrunk. Otherwise, it is still near me and I can call for take out. They serve their own version of boat noodle soup as well.

kai jeow

i can't believe haven't been here since 2013, and when did the name change? i go to 99 Ranch all the time and i never noticed the name change to Savvy Thai. we ended up at Savvy Thai last night for dinner because i saw Kai Jeow was on the menu. i'd forgotten it was Tasty Thai way back when. the interior is updated and it is not as dark as before. the bright well-kept red umbrellas outside-seating is welcoming. on friday at 5:30 4 of then 8 tables were occupied. pick-up orders were steady. the lone server was very busy tending to the already seated guests. the server behind the counter (handing out pick-up orders) finally broke away and took our order. both staff were very polite and the lone server on the floor apologized profusely for not attending to us. kai Jeow jeow puu (thai crab omelet): i love kai jeow. i always order it when i see it on a menu. this one was a bit dry. i would not have known there was crab in it if not for the menu. the sweet chili sauce was tasty. rama noodles: very pretty. not drowned in peanut sauce like Swimming Rama. we applied the peanut sauce as needed. noodles were not stuck together. beer $5.20: no other information! turned out to be ice cold singha served with an ice old glass. i might return to try their boat noodle soup.

Chicken skewers are so good with the peanut sauce. Will update with photos of the scenery. There a HUGE flower wall and its so photo worthy. Theres hanging plants and lights everywhere. My go to Thai spot. Get any curry or chicken dish with peanut sauce and you will be happy. Brown rice is interesting.. It's always super dark so I'm not sure if it is even brown rice but not bad.

Garlic Lover lunch special

Super clean restaurant with modern atmosphere. We were seated with regular menus at 11am on a weekday but were not given lunch special menus. I had to go get them. Two of our party ordered regular entrees but I decided on a lunch because it came with Thai tea or coffee. When the server took our orders she asked about spice levels to those who ordered full entrees but not me. Maybe lunch specials are made in advance. My garlic chicken had some flavor but not enough and zero spice. It lacked that Thai zing I am used to. The egg and rice were cooked perfectly. I had to ask about my included tea in order to get it. I think service is 3/5 here and food is 4/5. I did check in on Yelp to get a beverage for my friend.

Very small portion for take out. This is all, no second layer underneath.

Definitely a great thing to come out of the fire that destroyed the previous buildings at this location. The strip mall is still adding businesses, but usually parking is fairly easy, turning in and out of it from Hwy 99 may have its challenges. I will warn you that although this food is delicious, it is pay by weight so do be aware of this when you go in. You get your own bowl and tongs to go thru the line and choice exactly what you want in your meal. So many noodle, veggie and tofu options, but also a huge area devoted to meat. I will also say to skip the cilantro as that can be added after in the free sauce area (this is such a great bonus on it's own). There any many meal options to choose from. My fav is the Tom Yum, but I have also had the Tomato and keep meaning to try the dry noodles. My partner often thinks he wants the spicy, but this is extra spicy so do order that cautiously. After filling your bowl you go to the counter where they weigh your food and enter in what style you want. Unlike other hot pot places, you do not cook this yourself, they cook it in the back and then call your number when it is ready to be grabbed and brought to your table. This can be a tremendous amount of food and it's messy, so don't wear your best clothes if you are a messy eater like me. They are happy to let you pack up your leftovers, which are delicious later and make me feel better about how much I am spending. We do sometimes worry that we will not be able to get a seat, but so far we have not had to wait to sit down. They do bring you orange slices and you can get soft serve for after your meal. The employees are always friendly.

There wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't order again! I got the Roast Pork & Poblano taco. Homemade corn tortilla, topped with the mildy spicy filling. So good! My girlfriend got the Black Bean Mole Kale, which is one of several vegetarian/vegan items on the menu. Equally good. We shared a plate of the Papas; the garlic sauce, although bright pink, was delectable. They have a fine selection of brews and ciders on tap. I ordered the Finn River Organic Cider and felt it went well with the meal (dry, subtle flavor). Service was cafeteria style (order at the counter). It did take a while for our food to arrive--there was a larger party just ahead of us and everything is freshly made--but we really didn't mind the wait. FYI, the place is tiny, and I could see it filling quickly at busy times. There are two large tables inside (we shared one with another couple), a smattering of tables for 2, and some counter seating inside and out. Great place! I'll definitely be back!

They even bring out dadegi, which is so classic for this dish and makes me feel at home. If you're a fan of mixing textures, definitely order the seafood pancake! So crispy, but also chewy from the seafood, and they definitely don't skimp out on portions of ingredients and the size of this dish in general! I have never had such a good seafood pancake, and it'll definitely be one I crave in the future. The place is so clean and cozy, modern, and the chairs are comfy. Came across this place with strong reviews, and the name itself includes seollongtang, which is always a good sign that soup is taken seriously here. The restaurant is much more polished and refined than I expected. We ordered the combination and the cartilage and tendon one. I am always here for tendon, so that was an easy decision. My husband went with white wheat noodles and I chose the clear sweet potato noodles. It also came with rice, which was an unexpected but welcome addition. The banchan of kimchi radish and kimchi Napa cabbage were both excellent and refilled quickly without needing to ask twice. The soup is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting, the kind you immediately wish you had closer to home. Only wish is that they had a combination that included tendon, because that would be perfect. Definitely a spot I would come back to when we are in the area.

When our drink its served on beer glass with ice that already crush or shake together with the drink. If the drink dont come in options "on the rocks" we're totally okay. Maybe saying "my apologies, the drink don't come in options on the rocks, should i make a change" or anything. But the server with the beige shirt teaching us that our drinks is served "on the rocks". It looks like he's teaching us back about our order. while our server its the one giving us the options for that. I do feel embarrassed about this. But it's ok. This place its just not going to be to our recommendation because of the server. Also the server should not took the menu and read whats inside the dish in front of us. My wife and I ordered: Chicken Pad Thai Tofu Kua Gai The Pad Thai was decent - nothing remarkable. The noodles were a firmer than I liked, but the chicken was overcooked and dry (and paltry - I only got a few pieces). The sweetness carried the plate, but nothing stood out to me. Despite the hustle and bustle service and the cheerful owner managing a busy cell phone of take-out orders (which the saving and entertaining grace was that his ringtone was "Golden" from Netflix's Kpop Demon Hunters), this place severely missed the mark.
