Indoors is spacious with several tables scattered about. For entertainment, Player's offers pool tables, pool tabs, darts, fooseball and TV's. All day on Tuesday's, soft or crunchy beef tacos or carne asada street tacos with cilantro are $2 each. My wife had a couple pints of Bud Light for $4.75 each. I had a couple pints of Bodhi IPA for $5.75 each. Our beers were ice cold and filled to the rim. We each ordered one crunchy and one soft (fajita size) ground beef taco for $2 each. The tacos were stuffed with seasoned taco meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Filling and tasty. Overall, Player's is a decent bar for the surrounding area. Due to the type of bar that this is, top-notch customer service shouldn't be expected. Have a seat and enjoy a cold brew while waiting on food orders. Mesh, the bartender was so amazing, friendly and approachable. I came into this little place with a feeling of history. You see, my mom worked here for years in the 70's, 80's and early 90's. I loved that the bar is modernized just enough to make it comfy, but with enough of the old feel to make it feel as though my mom was still there. As my mom passed away several years ago, I walked in with tear-filled eyes and Meesh totally understood and even allowed me to play my mom's favorite song on the juke box. So, with Lyin Eyes on the awesome and modern jukebox and the neon booze signs on the walls, I could actually feel my mom in the room, telling her infamous dirty jokes. I shared this with everyone, and we all raised a glass in her honor. Tequila shots for my companions and a water shot for me! I love that they serve hard alcohol here, makes for a nice variety in drinks and patrons. Now, on this particular night, there were only 3 others in the bar (maybe 4), but it was a great atmosphere. The entire place is super clean with updated bathrooms with the doors I'm sure were there when the place was built. Taco Tuesday is offered every day of the week; 3 tacos for $5. Food items consist of pizza, burgers and standard bar food. While deciding on our lunch, we slurped on a Manny's and Bodhi for $7 each. For our meal we ordered the 13" Chicken Ranch Pizza for $15: white sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, red onions, chicken and bacon. They require a minimum of 8 wings per flavor, so if you come with a big group you can mix and match flavors easily. My top two flavors: hot (buffalo) and the dry rub lemon pepper. Service is alright. You seat your self (if there is a table open). On busy days, you just fight for a table. I wish they implemented some form of queue or paper on which party is next. Tables just get wiped down with a rag. But the price / quality for the wings makes me come back every time.
