I have been quite a few Harvey's Restaurants in the Northeast GTA area. Always the same same, usual usual. This location though is the cleanest and most organized franchise location. The manager on the floor right at the cash taking orders and greeting customers. The staff in the front and the kitchen all working like a team. There are also staff in the dine in area cleaning up the tables and making sure the self serve fountain drink area is never a mess. This team spirit does makes the dining experience positive and which I enjoyed a lot as a franchise chain fast food place.

Lots of seating. Clean tables. Lots of staff behind the counter to deal with prime time. While i was there, which was for 45mins. Staff cleared the garbage bins, and went around wipping the tables. Food was good, nothing bad to say. Except the ginger ale fountain drink was too carbonated. 4 stars for my first visit.

Yummo!!

The restaurant had a few tables going around 630pm and it is nicely decorated for this chain. Service was quick and the server followed up with us on a replacement bread and offered to refill the soup or salad. We ordered the trio which comes with a jr serving of chicken parmigiana, Alfredo fettuccine and a 1/2 pound slice of lasagna. I ordered the veal parmigiana. I was so disappointed with my meal. The texture of the veal can be compared to a compacted and dry meat that may have been left in the freezer too long. The 3 stars on the food is attributed to the tender chicken parmigiana and daily deal, buy one, take one home free! Our take home special was spaghetti bolognese in a lovely takeout container with heating instructions. It appears to be a smaller serving but it was a welcome lunch for the next day. The table water and the ginger ale soda were undrinkable. The glasses had a strong bleach taste and smell. Our server offered to replace the glass of ginger ale, but it was still undrinkable. Our server said that there maybe something missing with the syrup level in the soda tap. Pros There are a lot of menu offerings, special menus and weekly daily deals, read it carefully. Cons The veal parmigiana a real disappointment Only order a beverage if it comes in a can or a bottle you can open yourself and drink directly from the original container. We were charged in full for our dinner. Ample parking outside the restaurant.

This was another new find for 2024 which left me craving more and wanting to go back. It didn't take much convincing for hubby to get takeout for the fam. We kept it simple and all ordered cheeseburgers with just bacon, sides of fries and onion rings. This burger really hit the spot! Nice size patty, seasoned so well. The bacon was crispy and they do not hold back on the pieces in your burger. The Yukon gold fries are fresh made and not frozen. I LOVE the onion rings, it's a generous portion of crispy rings! Burger sizes are single 1/4 lb, double 1/2 lb, triple 3/4 lb, pounder 1lb. Choose from Swiss, Cheddar, Bleu, Feta & Smoked Cheddar cheese. You can also add on sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms and more. There is the "Z"Fam menu selections and the Chef's Selections if you prefer to not build your own burger. Top off your meal with Oreo Stuffed Churros or a classic milkshake. Zeal Burger, please open a Markham location!

We got the single burger ($6.00 toppings are extra) double burger ($9.25 toppings are extra), mushroom melt ($9.25) the Classic Z ($13.25) and O.Z. (for $11.50 the burger that started everything). We came on a Saturday around 530pm to the Stouffville location and they were busy. Friday and Saturday nights are their busiest. We waited about 40min for our food. Overall, the burgers tasted okay. The food wasn't hot enough. They were just a little more than warm. It was quite disappointing because these are fresh burgers and unfortunately it didn't taste that way. The fries and onion rings were decent. Good customer service.

Only one staff member was working during my visit, and there was a mix-up with my order. Luckily, I was still in the parking lot when another customer came out to let me know, so I was able to get it sorted. For the meal, I picked beef brisket (you get 3oz of meat and can also choose sausage, turkey, chicken wings, or nuggets) and a side. I chose mashed potatoes. They weigh the meat before reheating it. Next time, I'd ask for the BBQ sauce on the side since it was a bit too drenched, and while it had good flavor, the brisket felt dry in parts and not quite as tender as I hoped. The mashed potatoes had bits of skin, which gave a nice texture, but they really needed gravy to round them out (additional cost for 1.99). The bread roll stood out. It was very soft, fresh, and worked great for turning the brisket into a mini sandwich. For the drink, I went with a soft drink instead of the "lil yellow cup" option. The portion was small, but it is after all advertised as a kid's meal and less of a commitment compared to all their other menu items. It's a good choice if you want a lighter meal or just want to sample the BBQ. They also offer daily deals, which change throughout the week and is only available for a limited time (it is not mentioned how long this is for): Monday: Brisket Mac & Cheese $12.99 Tuesday: BOGO 50% any Sandwich Wednesday: 10% off Wings Thursday: Brisket Poutine $12.99 Friday: 15% off Westerner or Pit Dip Sandwich Saturday/Sunday: Kids' Meals for $7.99 I'm interested in trying other menu items and their daily specials. I'm just hoping the brisket is more tender/juicy next time!

I came on a weeknight and the place was busy (albeit not all the tables were filled). We were quickly seated but after that, the rest of the experience was very slow. It took approximately 1.5 hours to order, eat, and get the bill. On a positive note, it was nice eating the food fresh and I was able to use a coupon that is normally for take-out only. I enjoyed eating the fresh garlic bread appetizer. The chicken was good but the fries were not freshly made. I had the Apple Pie dessert with ice-cream on top, it was probably the best option for the dessert menu and one of the more expensive options. You get a cup with lemon + water at the end to clean your hands. I would not recommend the chicken spring rolls.

Definitely exceeded my expectations and seemed to be better than other Swiss Chalet I've had!

Sometimes the staff is super kind, while other times it's hard to even get their attention. When it comes to the food, its pretty lack lustre. I just feel it isn't the same quality it used to be. I find the eggs always runny, and the home fries way over cooked. I feel like they definitely need to up their game as this place is slowly becoming not my favourite places to go for breakfast. 5/10 recommend!

We did try take out 1-2 times from here, but nothing comes close to dining in at the location. I'm not a take-out breakfast kind of person (unless it's a breakfast sammie!). I love nothing better than a Sunday family breakfast at home and I go all out with homemade pancakes, omelettes, bacon, homemade french toast etc. HOWEVER, this mama needed a cooking break and all four of us agreed that we needed a Sunset Grill fix! It wasn't busy at all when we arrived, maybe 3-4 tables filled. They still had the far left section of the restaurant closed off. It wasn't a big problem for us, but they do have a table for 6 there which does seat more comfortably for a family of 4 when we are ordering multiple drinks and having enough room to enjoy our meals. I ordered my usual: Eggs Sunset with poached eggs. I did have to send my plate back on this visit because I had asked for my poached to be a bit medium where they are runny on the inside but a little less on the outside. They were WAY too runny for me. 2nd plate came back and it was exactly what I had asked for! I love their fresh cut home fries! Had a nice hot cup of coffee with my breakfast. My kids both ordered: Three eggs scrambled with home fries and bacon. Huge generous portions compared to a couple of other local breakfast spots (which is why this one is our fav!). Hubby ordered a western omelette - nice large generous portion with a side of bacon. The service did fall a bit short on the visit where we had to reach out for water refills, napkins and coffee to be topped up. Overall the food is still consistently good and we will be back!

The floors were also very sticky and overall just felt very dirty inside. The cashier was good but they are definitely understaffed which lead to long wait times for our food. Once our food was ready, we decided to sit outside rather than inside since there were so many flies flying around that just kept landing on everything. The food itself is good and what I remember A&W to be. Teen burger and pickle burger with onion rings and poutine. The onion rings are great and super crispy, just the way I liked it. Teen burger was good and a fresh tasting burger. I'd say overall I think they need to be a lot cleaner for their restaurant and do something about their fly infestation. Probably need to hire more people so that wait times aren't so long as well.

I found this Wild Wing a couple of blocks away from where I was in the eastern part of Markham. I checked out the menu and there were some BOGO offers. I said yes. I typically have wings at this franchise. I love wings. I mean LOVE. Sadly, there were no BOGO wing deals. I do have a weakness for hot dogs and there was a deal on them, so I went for it. I like that I didn't have to get fries as my side. There were many sides to choose from. I got a side salad for both hot dogs. I was so happy. The menu also had slices of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Yes, please! I nabbed one. My food was ready in fifteen minutes. I took my time heading over to Wild Wings. It's in the same plaza as a Royal Bank with a drive-thru and a Hakka eatery that made me drink tons of water afterwards because the food was so salty. I backed into a parking spot and headed inside. It was clean and fairly quiet at around 6 pm. A woman came out to help me. I indicated that I had an Uber Eats order. She let me know that it was being packed up in the kitchen. Cool! I waited by the bar. Another woman came out with a paper bag with my food in it. I thanked her and headed out the door to my car. I drove home and ate my food. The hot dog was delicious. The bun was soft. The hot dog was huge and grilled. I didn't get any condiments because I had plenty at home. I love relish and ketchup, so they went on. I loved it. The side salad was yummy. The place mixes the dressing (I got Italian), so it is better to eat your salad as soon as you can. The ingredients, from the cubed cucumber to romaine lettuce, were crisp and fresh. Yum! My cheesecake was also delicious. I don't think the slice is worth $9.99, but I had a craving for some and I don't do cheesecake often. I do wish that it had more raspberry flavouring, but it did satisfy my dessert craving nicely. I will need to return and get wings. I also saw poutine, so I'll give it a go next time. (84)
