This is a nice local restaurant with one side for game night (picture high tops, bar, TVs galore) -…read moregreat place to gather watch any hockey or baseball game and then a small section that is more like a dining room with booth like bench along the wall. There are still a few TVs around so that gives parents a space to still catch up on a game even with kids in tow. We went with our kids and the kids menu was actually decent. A selection of pasta, traditional pub fare like chicken fingers and fish and chips to hot dog and hamburgers. It comes with a juice box, a side (fries or salad etc that can also be upgrade to poutine or sweet potato fries. We ended up ordering the fish bites (mini fish and chips) and chicken fingers. They were both done very well. There was sufficient breading but not overwhelming. Kids loved it. Fries were done just right. The ice cream was on point. Juice boxes were nothing special. I had the southwest linguine. It was a pleasant surprise. A decent amount of protein and veggies (chicken and shrimp) and it had a bit of kick which I wasn't expecting. It comes with garlic toast which was also quite good. We finished the meal with a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. That was heavenly. It was a bit more of the sweet side for us but nonetheless it really hit the spot. Service was ok. They didn't check in very much and it wasn't busy. Would have liked our water refilled. Otherwise decent meal. Would be back!

First time coming for lunch - tried their wings during their half price wings special (currently…read moreavailable on Mondays and Wednesdays with purchase of a drink). Usual price $16/1 lb. Both breaded and non-breaded were crispy and delicious. Service was quick. Wet napkins were provided. Also available, a large offering of $13 lunch options. The rest of the menu looks reasonably priced. Will be back to try. Only thing, is seating seems like mostly groups of 4 - not sure if they can accommodate for larger groups.

A complimentary table bread with roasted red pepper hummus was served. We ordered the following: 1. Citrus Beet Salad ($18). Beets, orange, labneh, baby arugula 2. Crab Cake ($22). Pickled red cabbage and arugula salad with radish and basil aioli. 3. Spanish Rice ($36). Bay scallops, tiger shrimp, mussels, calamari, green peas, pepper, horseradish-lemon aioli, and green onion. 4. Pan-Seared Scallops ($55). Cauliflower puree, vegetable succotash, bacon, caper, raisins, and pine nut relish. 5. Saffron Poached Pear ($11). Whipped cream, cookie crumble, candied pecans, fresh berries. All dishes were beautifully plated. The tastes were great. The customer service was great. In the Spanish Rice dish, the Shrimps were large, the Mussels were amazing, and the Calamari were plentiful and perfectly tender. The Scallops were perfect cooked. The dish itself was a visual delight. The Poached Pear was perfectly cooked. The dish was not too sweet or too tart, just perfect. They always have a Fish of the Day and Oysters. Other specials change every two weeks. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms, and they are not wheelchair accessible. There is free neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-096

We reserved a patio table to celebrate a friend's birthday, but the experience was very…read moredisappointing. When we arrived, we were offered a table across the sidewalk, separated from the road only by a Jersey barrier. This did not feel like the patio experience we had expected. We asked if we could be seated on a patio closer to the restaurant, where there were two empty tables available. After some back and forth with the waiter, we spoke with the owner, who refused to seat us there because the tables were supposedly reserved for guests arriving in an hour to an hour and a half. We even offered to leave or relocate once those guests arrived, but the owner still refused. We decided to leave and went to Junction instead. About an hour and a half later, we passed by AGI again and saw that both of the tables we had asked for were still empty. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially given that we were there for a birthday celebration. The situation could have been handled with much better customer service and flexibility.
