We have given Harvey's several tries and each time someone has a terrible meal. They are not consistent with their food. Our waitress was extremely rude which has turned us off to dine here again. Dining out is expensive, so it is not worth being treated as an inconvenience. read more

Took my elderly parents and spouse to dinner. I felt bad because the experience was awful. Wrong orders, cold, non-seasoned steak ($32 steak should be perfect and not cold). Went earlier on a weekend night as Harvey's tends to have a wait. Waitress promptly took our drink and food order. Beverages from the bar were spot on; excellent bourbon selection. Broccoli bites (appetizer) were so good. Husband had the steak salad, which he liked. Meat was done medium and the salad greens were fresh. I had the prime rib. Definitely a disappointment. The drinks were way off in taste. Too much carbonation. Food came out lukewarm. I had the prime rib sandwich. Way too fatty. Took my wife here for our wedding anniversary and made a reservation. We arrived and was seated right away and was asked if we was celebrating anything and told them we was celebrating our 17 year wedding anniversary. They told us that they do offer free dessert for that and suprised my wife with a single rose which was above and beyond service. Came here with a group of 12-15 a little while back and we really enjoyed ourselves. There is something on the menu for everyone and the staff was attentive and serviceable. I enjoyed a wonderful steak with sautéed vegetables and was very happy with everything! With so many people we tried many different cuts and types of meat and I don't believe anyone left disappointed. I was in Tupelo with a coworker for a meeting and several friends had recommended Harvey's for dinner. I'm so glad we listened! Ella, our server, made great recommendations and the food was delicious. We both had Honey Pepper Salmon, at Ella's recommendation, and it was delicious! That sauce is some kind of magic. Love Harvey's! My son and I stumbled up on it two years ago while I was driving him back to Illinois from UCF in Orlando, FL. We have tried to incorporate a Harvey's stop into the trip whenever possible! I even just did the 16-17hr round trip Fri-Sat just to have dinner there. Yes, I did follow our son who completed the rest of the trip Saturday while I drove back home, but still! Harvey's was worth the trip to me. Always excellent food, fantastic service and SUPER fast for a sit down restaurant! Restaurant is very clean, warm and inviting. Looks more formal, but you will see people dressed casual to dressed up nice for a special event and the staff does not treat either differently in our experience. So disappointed! Harvey's has been Sunday school classes favorite place for brunch at least once a month! Might be changing! Yesterday was not up to Harvey's usual! Service was a bit slow but they were busy and probably like every other restaurant, good help hard to find! But the quality of food seems to be going down, at least for Sunday Brunch! Quiche no longer in menu so I ordered the Breakfast scramble! Sounded okay but was a jumbled mess that was not even pretty when it first came out! No flavor and was just sort of non descript! A brunch companion ordered the tomato pie, was pretty much the same! A couple of people ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. Looked amazing but was way too much, difficult to cut and eat! They both said was okay but probably wouldn't order again! Last time ordered a mimosa and it was awful, the juice was bad so I was a little paranoid about ordering it again! The fact that the manager not concerned that that the cook serving uncooked fish and not even concerned that a customer recieved it says alot about customer service. I stopped here passIng through town, and it was too good not to Yelp about. I had Prime Rib, which almost melted in my mouth! It was juicy and delicious. It came with an Au Jus, but I preferred it without. Along with the prime rib, I had asparagus, which had a great smoked flavor. Did I save room for desert? Of course I did!
