Sat at the bar for 14 minutes and was never approached, greeted, or offered a menu. it was a total of 6 people, including me so it wasn't busy at all. Although I wasn't served, the bartender found time to grab a to-go box , extra sauce, fix drinks all for "caucasian customers", in addition to entering items into the computer, which was directly IN FRONT OF ME. We travel an hour and a half to eat here, and it's always worth the drive. We have to start with the fried cheese. This is not your normal cheese sticks. I love the shrimp and grits. Courtney started us out with a blood orange margarita and a cosmopolitan, both cold and delicious. Our appetizer was a crayfish and pimento dip. My husband loved it. Hot and different. We both had the prime rib, he with soup, me with a salad. Unfortunately chef decided to plate everything when he plated the appetizer, so entree and soup and salad arrived all at once. Flavors were good, but what was supposed to be hot was lukewarm. Lukewarm grits are not great. So sad. Kept my calorie count down though so that was good. For dessert we had the butter cake. I'm giving two stars because our server was really wonderful. She was incredibly attentive and apologetic about all the order mistakes. The food on the other hand left a lot to be desired. My prime rib was severely over cooked. I was also served multiple items containing gluten, to which I am severely allergic to. From the pimento cheese & crawfish appetizer to the pina colada cheesecake dessert, we were not disappointed! I had a side garden and the shrimp & grits which was fantastic! It says they are cheddar jalapeño grits but it wasn't too spicy. My stomach cannot handle spicy & this dish was just perfect (taste but not heat). My husband got the creamy chicken noodle soup (which was AMAZING!), the ribeye steak, and mashed potatoes. He was very pleased with the tenderness of his steak. My son got a side garden salad, ribeye steak, and mac & cheese. He was also very pleased with his steak. *they both got medium well* If you like coconut, cheesecake, & pineapple (which I do), you will love this dessert! Now the best for last-our server Daesha! Called ahead to bring 34 off the bus as we passed through Tupelo. I let them know ahead of time on a Monday at noon. The parking lot seemed full, but they were ready for us with three long tables and dedicated waitresses. The special Broccoli Bites appetizer was unique and tasty. I had planned to get the daily special of pork loin, but the hostess said her favorite was the honey pepper salmon. It was excellent!My wife had the Asian salad and enjoyed it. I took a client out to dinner. They were out of prime rib (their specialty) and most every red wine by the glass. The staff was fraternizing with customers and other staff members at the bar, and we sat in the bar area with terrible service. After waiting for our meal for 30 minutes, our server informed us that my client's meal couldn't be prepared because they were out of that as well. The server looked frustrated so I asked her if I could speak to the manager. The manager, Walter, could care less. He has terrible social skills. His management skills are obvious, terrible. A friend brought me here for lunch today. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The lunch was wonderful! I had the marinated ribeye and a house salad. The ribeye is marinated for 48 hours in soy, pineapple, ginger and garlic. It was fantastic! The grilled vegetable skewer was very tasty. The salad with the cilantro dressing was very good. My husband and I traveled 2 hours to Tupelo, and both of our sons & wives traveled at least an hour each. We added our party to the Yelp waitlist. Harvey's was FANTASTIC! The great food, along with our SENSATIONAL server, Courtney, was a welcome respite from visiting family in the hospital. The food was amazing!
