This place is, without a doubt the tastiest restaurant in town! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and flavor of the food. I absolutely love the Mandi biryani and pulao here especially the juicy mutton Mandi which is just wow! The Nalli Gosht Mandi is a must-try, and the fry piece pulao along with all the other pulaos, are my favorites. I come here often and sometimes I go for the naan and curries, which are also amazing. The naan is always well-cooked, soft, and delicious. I truly love the food the people here are so nice and the atmosphere is wonderful!

Hashtag India in McKinney offers a cozy ambiance and flavorful Indian cuisine. The interiors were all very new and fresh and clean. We didn't stay. I ordered takeout and waited for the food there. The Tandoori Chicken was good but lacked depth in spices. However, the Paneer Methi Malai stole the show with its creamy texture and aromatic flavors, making it our favorite dish. Portion sizes were just right, ensuring a satisfying meal without feeling overly full. If you're in McKinney and craving authentic Indian flavors, Hashtag India is worth a visit. Overall, will return here another time for takeout.

My waitress recommended trying the non veg thali when I was wanting to try different dishes. Everything was delicious and the mango drink she suggested really cools down the heat. I've been in several times now and each dish I've had had been delicious. Grateful for such a wonder dining experience.

Been looking for some good Indian food and we have it at last! We stayed "safe" and tried the samosas (lovely, handmade with a perfect spiciness), tandoori chicken (roasted tomato tang, sauce like velvet), mutton korma (sauce to die for, rich and buttery. Mutton was tender and not dry), butter naan (yummy but not particularly special ) and Indo-Chinese fried rice. Both dishes came with basmati rice which was a better option than the fried rice which was good in its own. I also had chai tea and it was perfect!!!!! Can't wait to go back and try more. The waitress was so friendly and took the time to explain many menu items that we were unsure what they were to us. She also told us they have buffet for $19.99 from 12-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Considering the entrees are a little on the pricey side, the buffet is certainly a great value!

Food was great. Waitress was very gracious and answered our questions. She made a great recommendation for me with mixed grill. I asked for spicy and they kicked up the onions to spicy for me . Family atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating.

    Our giant delicious lunch.

The food and service was amazing! A group of friends came here for lunch and we ordered the Mandi. Food was so flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be back.

After reading several reviews, I really wanted to try this place. The overall service was just fine. Friendly staff. We ordered the buttered chicken, Chicken tikka masala, vindaloo, with garlic naan. I specifically asked for the spiciest dish and was recommended the Vindaloo. Let me start by saying it came to the table very lukewarm. The masala and buttered chicken was steaming hot. I was surprised to find tons of little tiny bones in the vindaloo and no warning of bones in the food. There was ZERO spice at all. All three entrees of chicken were dry and just overall not cooked well. The naan bread was very thin and flavorless. Maybe we just came on a bad night but I will not be returning.

This place has potential. But they need to cut the salt. Some of the dishes I tried were very very salty.

Greeted by a young man who could not have been more pleasant. Even though we got there 10 minutes before they closed for the to go order they never made me feel like we were imposing. Had everything from samosas, Naan, chicken vindaloo, tandoori shrimp masala and aloo gobi. Everything was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Nice to see a small family operation turning out such wonderful cuisine. The sauces showed years of knowledge and hours of preparation. I am not any sort of expert on indian food, but much of what I've had depends on heat for flavor. This had so much flavor with just the right amount of spice to get you reaching for tissues for your runny nose as you grab for another helping of food. As usual, you can get an added level of pain if you want which was right up my alley. Encourage you to consider this establishment if you are in the area or willing to make a short trip that will take your taste buds to another land.

We visited Yum of India for lunch today. The ambiance is very nice--new, clean, charming, and thoughtfully decorated. It's clear that the owner has invested significant time and money into building the place. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. We ordered the paneer biryani, and it was extremely salty and largely tasteless. When we informed the front desk staff, there was no response or effort to address the concern--no offer to replace the dish, remake it, or provide any alternative. The reaction felt more like "eat it or leave." After paying $15, we left still hungry and had to drive to another restaurant to eat. Even at the time of payment, when we mentioned we were going elsewhere for food, the front desk staff simply smiled and showed no empathy or concern. While the restaurant looks great, food quality and customer service are critical. Unfortunately, both were lacking during our visit. I hope the owner focuses more on consistency in food quality and customer experience, as the potential is clearly there. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place at this time, as it was not worth the drive or the time.
