Place is close by, food clearly pre-cooked, as many of the meat dishes taste like they just added sauce. It's convenient, flavorful, but meat lacking that freshness from being frozen/pre-cooked too long though edible. As a result, I never end up eating all of the meat out. Biggest issue no matter how often I tell them. I ask for very light salt, always, and either they don't give a bleep or even the sauce is pre-cooked (which is likely), but please do something so I'm not drinking water for days. We ordered Lamb Khorma & Shrimp 65 with Garlic Naan. This is how it went.. The Khorma was hot and chunky with meat and the sauce was delicate and spicy (we wanted it spicy-medium). The shrimp was crusted and sauced and tender but not rubbery. It was perfectly prepared. The naan was well seasoned and toasted and a great dipping and sopping companion for the Khorma. All in all this was an amazing dish! I got it through Grubhub which didn't give me an option to rate the food- so here I am. I also called them directly to compliment them and the woman who answered was sweet and graceful. Having eaten and prepared my own indian food from NYC to TX I have to say this is the best I've had. Ordered via DoorDash, dasher said he was still waiting after 45 minutes. Food should have arrived within 22 minutes, 45 minutes later dasher is texting me. I call restaurant apparently they ran out or Byriani. 90 minutes later fresh hot Byriani arrives Nan bread stale and cold and butter chicken cold. They put in a mango Lassi but that came with a hole in it and made a mess in the bag. I tried to speak with a manager then, plus the next time I called and I got no decent response. Spice level is nominal unless we mention it to be spicy. Amaravati curry tasted good but more like an onion tomato gravy and not very flavour got only 2 pieces. Naan was soft and buttery. 5 star for the quality and the taste of the food. I hope they keep up with the consistency. We went on a week day for lunch. They were not busy at all, got seated quickly. The place was fairly clean compared to general Indian restaurants around Dallas. We got mango lassi, daal makhani, naan, chapati, chicken handi biryani and paneer puloa. I cannot highlight enough that the food came out fresh and was super tasty and flavorful. The daal was creamy. Rotis and naan was fresh. Biryani was decent. I have had better! Ordered medium on the spice level, the expert cooks delivered. It was exactly the right amount of heat without overwhelming or dumbing down the exquisite warm spices. I ordered 1 of the 4 specials available. Andhra Mutton Pulav (best way I can describe it) was an almost deconstructed version of Mutton Biryani. The dryer goat curry was served under a heap of seasoned rice(were as biryani is blended together and a somewhat wetter cousin). The dish was everything I could have hoped and dreamt of. Succulent, curry smothered, spicy goat, that was so tender you could literally suck the meat right off the bone! The spiced basmati rice being served on top acted as insulation for the goat. Keeping the dish piping hot throughout the meal. Accompanied by a side of extra gravy(which if you wanted to push the envelope in the spice category, this is the best way to indugle). As well as Riata ( a yogurt sauce), which helped tip the scales in the opposite direction. Adding a cool, creamy component to tamper down the heat. Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Experience Before posting this review, I took the time to visit the restaurant and share my concerns directly with the staff regarding the fried rice I was served. I explained that the food tasted stale, had an unusual sour flavor, and made me feel unwell almost immediately. The staff listened, went inside, and returned saying they could offer a replacement with freshly prepared food. then i asked if i could speak to manager then staff replied and said the manager was "too busy" to speak with me. I expressed that rather than immediately posting an online review, I had hoped the restaurant would appreciate direct customer feedback and take it seriously. Unfortunately, their dismissive response gave the impression that customer concerns and time are not valued. That is highly unprofessional. The lady who helped us seemed annoyed to be here tonight. The food - omg - seriously not for Indians. Every thing was bland and either too salty or not enough salt. My friend chose this place for lunch as she's heard good things about it. Sure enough, it holds up to its reputation. We had the mild Fried Chicken Biryani and medium Lamb Roganjosh. The Biryani was perfectly cooked and the chicken was spicier than expected but I loved it. The Roganjosh had a good amount of meat for the price and there was plenty of curry to dip the naan. I didn't care for the naan too much as it was really crispy versus being nice and fluffy on the inside. The menu is vast so I will have to come back to try more items. read more

**Worst Biryani & Manager In Frisco East** They serve STALE biryanis, multiple reviews just today and Manager is extremely rude. I brought back a stale amravathi mutton biryani which was bought a couple hours ago, but they kept arguing its not stale although I drove all the way back to return the biryani or exchange for a fresh one as my toddler would be eating it. Then the manager was extremely rude & asked me to shut up, after wasting 15 mins arguing via his team (Sam) (while he was sitting inside) on why he thinks the biryani is not stale. I paid almost 9 dollars for two pieces and when I got home, I noticed that each piece was exactly the same size. turns out this stuff must've been frozen because I've had the same exact thing that I bought at the store before... Food quality is just okay, nothing great. But the reason I write this review is the lack of customer service. They gave styrofoam boxes for taking the left over food. When I asked them if I they have sturdier plastic boxes (black base clear lid), they said no. But when I went to the counter adjacent to the dine-in area, I did find those boxes on display. Even after explaining to them that I am taking the food on a flight and the styrofoam boxes will not hold up, they refused to give me the other boxes. They said it was only for to-go orders. I live in West Frisco where there are plenty of good Indian restaurants, but Bawarchi Biryanis in East Frisco is just so much better. The menu is extensive with so many incredible choices. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and spiced exactly as each of us ordered...something that doesn't always happen. We usually get take out here, but they also have a really nice dining room with a bar and attentive service if you want to sit relax with friends. definitely worth going to. read more
