I began coming to this clinic last year with an aging pet that eventually had to be put to sleep. They were always kind and helpful. I would suggest the woman vet over the man though. My daughter received a puppy before Christmas and we were getting vaccines done there through the puppy package. Yesterday, I encountered an issue where I only had so much money available and had rescheduled an appointment from a Friday (pay day) to a Wednesday due concerns about the weather. We discussed before coming that I only wanted the two vaccines and it would be $30. Once there and telling the tech that I just wanted the two, she proceeded to take the dog back for shots. When she came back she said she gave her 3. When I went to check out, I informed them that I talked to someone in advance (actually twice) and all I could do was the $30. I informed them I would pay the rest on Friday which was less than $20. I know that isn't much but I did not have it. A woman by the name of Rachel came out from the back in full attack mode saying she couldn't take the third vaccine out of the dog therefore I HAD to pay in full. I told her that I requested just the two and it was on them but would pay the rest on Friday. She then humiliated me in front of my daughter by telling me to be a better mom and call someone for the money. She threatened to call the police on me as well. I was standing there in tears because I was in such disbelief. She was the most condescending , hateful person I have ever encountered like that. I have posted this vet's info on so many pages to bring business and I am still in shock with how I was treated. This woman , Rachel, then said "Have a blessed day" in such a hateful tone. I turned and said please do not use Christianity to make up for how you just treated me. She then replied "Honey, I am not Christian." She called me honey twice BTW to invoke some sort of superiority. I was SHOCKED that not one person working there allowed her to continue. There was a woman there with her poor sick dog that paid for my visit after hearing what happened. I did go back in and pay the $30 I could afford to that woman's account because she had already left so I do hope they credited her. As a 50 yo standing there in tears being verbally insulted, I will NEVER step foot back in there and I am SHOCKED that any vet would allow their employees to treat anyone, let alone customers like that. I will be contacting Consumer Protection for the first time in my life and filing a report. read more

Everything has been beyond fantastic. So far I've taken two of my 5 to this vet for routine checkups, a sedated nail trim for my giant mister dog, and meds for my tiny chihuahua. The staff is awesome and they are fair with what they charge, no crazy unexpected charges, they are quick to take you back and answer all questions. I have been a customer of this clinic since 2010 and I was happy until I took my dog for a well visit in January. After they completed the shots the doctor asked me if I have any concerns. I mentioned my dog was itching as he has been for a while. I told her the meds I got were not working. She then changed the well visit to an ill visit and charged me $15.00 extra. Switching to this vet has been one of the best things that happened all year. From the front desk staff to the vets/Dr.s I'm always walking out of their happy and so is my dog (shout out to Candace she's always so nice and caring). I have an American Akita who's made his way around plenty of vet offices for different things and this has by far been the best experience we've had. My family also has a chocolate lab and he comes here as well. My dog is a 100+ pound puppy who gets very excited to get out of the house and the staff always makes sure we have a smooth check in and check out process. read more

Twice I have experienced the lack of listening or understanding a written appointment request. The latest was an appointment request because my dog was not eating or drinking water. All they could say was they did not have any available appointments until Monday afternoon and I was requesting on a Friday. To me, if an animal us not eating or drinking water that the situation is pretty dire. After consulting with a different vet by phone I started to feed my dog boiled chicken and rice. My dog was ok until Sunday when she got worse. That was when I went on the hunt for a better veterinarian Clinic and found one. This other clinic wanted my dog in immediately and thank God they did. So I wouldn't recommend this veterinarian Clinic because apparently they can't make time for a seriously ill pet. read more

We love Haslet Vet! Moved here 6 months ago from Oregon and was in need of a new vet from the moment we arrived. We've since discovered my poor lab is allergic to just about everything in Texas so we tried this vet based on the reviews and couldn't be happier! The staff are all so kind and sweet. Dr. Connolly is always prompt, thorough and never makes me feel rushed when asking questions. Pricing is about the same as I was paying back home so I can't comment on that in comparison to other local vets but IMO it's always worth it to go someplace you trust. read more

My wife and I are new residents to the Sendera Ranch. We had 3 dogs when we moved here that have received awesome care from the Veternarinan Dr. Crabill. Mark is always ready to answer ANY questions we have and in February of 2014, we found out our Shih Tzu(Oreo) impregnated our Chihuaha(Ella). So we took Ella in to get checked out and everything was great, nothing extra. We then scheduled an appointment for Oreo to get Neutered and again everything was great. He is doing great by the way. We did an Xray for Ella and counted 7 puppies and guess what, she had 7 puppies. They all went and got the check up there and they are healthy. So we kept one and now we have 4 dogs. Dr. Crabill and his staff is amazing and I will be a customer for as long as I am in a 45 Minute radius!!!! read more

Zero stars for this vet clinic!!!! Don't know why people who don't really like animals would run a vet clinic. Vet showed no interest in caring for my dog and absolutely no people skills whatsoever either. Vet didn't even listen to my pet's history and re-vaccinated him despite me telling her that he had already received it and didn't need it. Worse yet, the vet was intent on giving my 2 pound puppy a dose of medicine indicated for dogs weighing 25 pounds. It wasn't until I insisted that she give him a smaller dose that she looked and indeed found that a smaller dose was available and indicated for his size. Do yourself a favor and never bring your beloved pets here!!! I know I never will again!!! read more

This vet and the staff are amazing. I thought I was going to have to put my 12 year old cat down after days of not eating. The treatment plan and why they were running the tests they were running (I need to know they why) were very well explained to me. Everyone was so loving and caring with her! After a few meds and an IV of fluids the cat was happily chomping down her food within minutes of getting home. They saved my cat and I am forever grateful. Ever since moving back to this side of the metroplex I haven't been thrilled with the vets I've visited so I wasn't crazy about having to try another vet. We got 2 kittens so we had no choice. I was so relieved when everyone was so nice and supportive. The doctor that neutered/spayed our cats was fantastic. She explained everything to me and potential things to watch out for. I filled out the form so all that was needed was a signature, I also made known the fact that there is a time frame associated with turning in the form. I've been using Dr. Crabill since 2006. I highly recommend him. When my old basset hound Shelby was diagnosed with mammary cancer, Dr. Crabill was very kind and honest with how to proceed. When Shelby finally "told us" it was time to go, he was very compassionate and helped her cross over the Rainbow Bridge. He has been the only vet my little Tessa has ever known. They don't use high pressure sales like I've seen at some veterinary offices. Just honest, no nonsense, excellent care. read more
