Over the last 18 months we have had one crazy thing happen after another, it started with a new puppy and my vet of 20 years couldn't get us in. For new puppy wellness check. So we somehow lucked into finding Dr. Daugette at City Vet Keller. I know that City Vet is a chain, but Dr. D is far from being a chain veterinarian. She has been there for us at every turn, from ear infections to surgeries, life-threatening diseases to random agencies they are texting us on the weekends, answering emails late on a Saturday night, to conferring with specialist to seek possible answers when they seem like there were none. Our dog was diagnosed with a rare disease that took the life of her sister a few short years ago. I also lost my very first dog to this disease never believing that any dog could come back from it, because it just was so terrible. Each dog was treated and each dog eventually passed away. However, this time was different. She sought out specialists. She tried all different kinds of options and not only is our dog off most of the the medication's now. They really difficult on her body, but at 11, her numbers are back now in the normal range and it is nothing short of a miracle! We have a dog that is diabetic on two shots a day. We have a dog that has attacked our other dogs, and she has taken care of our babies like they were her own. We had a dog that had to be rushed into emergency surgery and if not for their care, she would no longer be with us. My husband and I got together late in life and we're not able to have a baby, so our dogs are the family that we loved dearly. This place has the vest vibes. The staff from the moment you walk in the door they are just different. They remember all of our dog's names and are excited to see them when they come. I can honestly say they treat them like they were their own. I trust Dr, D her advice and recommendations 100% without hesitation. She is always willing to work with us and explore any and all options, she spends time with you in the examination room, and we feel like her and the team there at City Vet are part of our extended family. I left my bed that I had been moved for 20 years because never and all this time have I ever been as cared for as we feel as City Vet Keller. If you are looking for a place that cares more about people and pets than make an appointment and you will see for yourself I promise. The last 18 months have been pretty awful in terms of how many doctor visits we have had to make and org /ical I/ situations emergency and otherwise it has been a huge financial investment, but all of our children a.k.a. puppies are still alive and kicking... even thriving! I know in my heart that bat is due to the team at City Vet Keller and the incredible Dr Daugette, hopefully I'm spelling that correctly. We cannot thank you enough through all the past 18 months from the laughs, to tears, over active Expression glands and all the stressful moments in between. You have supported us each step of the way going above and beyond what anyone else has ever done and I cannot thank you enough! This is the best experience paws down! Been going here to the Keller CityVet for over a year now. Three (3) dogs, with the two older ones having many a visit. My previous reviews stands, below. To add... They have been incredibly awesome, Dr. Daugette has the incredible gift, well tuned, as a good diagnostician. Rare to find in people docs or pet doctors these days. This has been a true blessing. I LOVE this CityVet! We have 5 cats and three dogs, and all of them are happy customers here. From the front desk, to the lead vet everyone is inviting, caring, and dedicated. I've brought my cat in here for emergency surgery (urethra blockage) and all of our pets come here for their regular care. The lead vet clearly loves all animals, and does not offer any strict advice or pass judgement. They help answer all of our questions every time, and send us personalized texts to check in on any concerns we've had. My cats are on a special prescription food and they've worked with us to figure out the perfect ordering and pick up times. I feel extremely safe here, and know we'll be given honesty without any attempts to upsell unnecessary services. Amazing Vet they really listen to you and your pet's needs! My puppies really loved her!!!!

Very expensive. My first appointment was fine but my second appointment, the vet tech hurt my dog. She literally took open wounds on her paw pad and pressed into glass. I understand the medical utility of skin scraping (I'm a Dr) but the aggressiveness was not needed. My dog left bleeding extensively. Vet said a growth may be an aggressive melanoma and never even called to follow up on treatment plan for differential diagnosis. If it is a malignant melanoma, we should not wait for treatment. The staff is so sweet. They came out to my car and helped me unload my dog as I was struggling with her and three kiddos. They also gave solid recommendations to my dog's care and didn't push anything that I was uncomfortable with. read more
