Milo and Mia HUGE FANS of North Texas Veterinary Clinic

Amazing, Loving, Caring and Very Knowledgeable Staff... Highly Recommended for sure! ***** We have used North Texas Veterinary Clinic for many many years. Our new Pups Milo and Mia Love These Folks!!!

I've been going to this vet for over 4 years with my dog Marcie. They have always been great, I recently got a puppy and they are both always excited to go to the vet! All of the front office staff are super nice and the doctors are great

What an outstanding experience and found our new vet. Looking around for a checkup with our Aussie and as always relied on good reviews from Yelp. Made an appointment for first thing the next morning. The front desk staff was very friendly when we walked in and the vet tech equally friendly and caring. He got all of his shots, heart worm test, anal glands expressed, office visit and prescription for heart worm prevention all for $175. I'm very satisfied with the cost and even more so the staff. Dr Gray was extremely nice and answered any questions I had. Our appointment was for 9am and out of there in 36 minutes. Great job NT Vet Clinic!

My best friend my everything has pass and I am still wondering why they didn't have everything they needed to take care of of him

We absolutely love this place. No need to try the other vets in Keller. We're making this our regular veterinarian. I recommend you do the same. Came in today for bortadella booster required for doggy day care. They had us in and out in less than 5 minutes. I called this morning at 8:00 they said we could come in at 8:45. So I straightened the house for a little while then went in. Now I'm writing this review at 8:55am in the parking lot. In and out. No waiting. Piece of cake. Easy peasy lemon breezy....

    Scratched eyeball! Silly Cole...

Cool happy hour place, dry cleaning, dog sitter and vet... All important things on the bucket list when you move into a new area. Moved here from SoCal a while ago and these guys came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I've been here twice now (2nd time today) and I'm pretty impressed with these guys. My buddy Cole got a scratch in his eye and I'm really happy with the treatment and attention he got. From the receptionist to the tech to the vet,,, All top notch! I've had dogs all my life and these guys are "right up there" with the best I've experienced from SoCal to here in Fort Worth. Thanks guys!!

She diagnosed and a treatment plan was to give him a series of Adequan shots. I paid for 8 injections up front and then during this series of injections, there was a billing discrepancy. All over a the number of shots my dog received. I'm talking about one $67.35 shot! On my second to last time there, I went through it with the nice young ladies up front and thought we had it straitened out. Then, my next visit, the discrepancy came up again. They gave me a print out summary and it was all jacked up. Showing 2 shots given at one appointment, not showing another appointment and on and on. Then, the "Manger" (Hunter), came out with attitude (as he had in previous visits too). I feel like he went out of his way to make sure it was my mistake, not his (or the clinics), and have me corrected. I was upset and I asked them to refund me for the number of shots they believe I was owed. They refunded me for one less shot than I believe I had paid for. Then, they had the nerve to send me a certified letter saying they didn't want to do business with me!! LOL! As a customer/ patient, I think his persistence in saying I'm wrong and he's right about the billing is ridiculous! I'm the customer (it's not about the stupid $67). What's a shame is, it's not about the clinic and the majority of the staff, it's about one over zealous employee.

I've used each of these at least half a dozen times and I've never had a bad experience. Professional, timely, warm, and never make me feel like I'm asking too much as far as questions and clarification. My only critique would be their primary veterinary care. Initially, we began routine veterinary services here but we would end up waiting upwards of 30 minutes to even get into a room, let alone see the veterinarian. And the prices are more expensive than my current primary veterinarian just a few miles away. We have since switched the primary care vet for my dog. BUT, I highly recommend any other service Creekside provides, I always know my pup is receiving excellent care here and I'm very grateful for the work they do.

I was also glad to see Dr. Cristina Bettencourt again; she was just as wonderful as before. Cinnamon isn't just a pet--he's my constant companion and part of the family, so it's hard seeing him not feel like himself. I'm hopeful he'll start improving in the next couple of days. Overall, it was one of the best vet visits I've had in a long time.

So we somehow lucked into finding Dr. Daugette at City Vet Keller. I know that City Vet is a chain, but Dr. D is far from being a chain veterinarian. She has been there for us at every turn, from ear infections to surgeries, life-threatening diseases to random agencies they are texting us on the weekends, answering emails late on a Saturday night, to conferring with specialist to seek possible answers when they seem like there were none. Our dog was diagnosed with a rare disease that took the life of her sister a few short years ago. I also lost my very first dog to this disease never believing that any dog could come back from it, because it just was so terrible. Each dog was treated and each dog eventually passed away. However, this time was different. She sought out specialists. She tried all different kinds of options and not only is our dog off most of the the medication's now. They really difficult on her body, but at 11, her numbers are back now in the normal range and it is nothing short of a miracle! We have a dog that is diabetic on two shots a day. We have a dog that has attacked our other dogs, and she has taken care of our babies like they were her own. We had a dog that had to be rushed into emergency surgery and if not for their care, she would no longer be with us. My husband and I got together late in life and we're not able to have a baby, so our dogs are the family that we loved dearly. This place has the vest vibes. The staff from the moment you walk in the door they are just different. They remember all of our dog's names and are excited to see them when they come. I can honestly say they treat them like they were their own. I trust Dr, D her advice and recommendations 100% without hesitation. She is always willing to work with us and explore any and all options, she spends time with you in the examination room, and we feel like her and the team there at City Vet are part of our extended family. I left my bed that I had been moved for 20 years because never and all this time have I ever been as cared for as we feel as City Vet Keller. If you are looking for a place that cares more about people and pets than make an appointment and you will see for yourself I promise. The last 18 months have been pretty awful in terms of how many doctor visits we have had to make and org /ical I/ situations emergency and otherwise it has been a huge financial investment, but all of our children a.k.a. puppies are still alive and kicking... even thriving! I know in my heart that bat is due to the team at City Vet Keller and the incredible Dr Daugette, hopefully I'm spelling that correctly. We cannot thank you enough through all the past 18 months from the laughs, to tears, over active Expression glands and all the stressful moments in between. You have supported us each step of the way going above and beyond what anyone else has ever done and I cannot thank you enough! This is the best experience paws down! Make an appointment today, become part of the family! Thanks guys! Love the crazy Tanner Family!

One star - Poor care, no accountability, and a deeply unprofessional vet…read more It's unfortunate to write this, as I had been a loyal client of Boulevard Animal Hospital for years under the excellent and compassionate care of Dr. Joe Allen. But after his retirement, the quality of care declined--culminating in an unacceptable and unprofessional interaction with Dr. Erin Hauser. During a call about a serious and unexplained 8-pound weight loss in my dog over 60 days, I voiced reasonable concerns and asked direct questions about how this could have gone unnoticed. Dr. Hauser became immediately defensive, deflected blame to a vet tech, and ultimately hung up on me mid-call--claiming I was being "hostile." I was not. I was clear, firm, and appropriately concerned for my dog's health. Her response was reactive and unprofessional. I contacted the practice manager, Jennifer, who acknowledged this was not acceptable and said she expected Dr. Hauser to apologize. Instead, I was told Dr. Hauser cried and refused. After that, the practice went silent--no apology, no accountability, and no further communication. The final blow came when I received my pet's medical records. The notes had clearly been updated after the fact to include gaslighting language and self-protective reframing--mischaracterizing me as hostile, emotional, and irrational while avoiding any acknowledgment that a licensed vet had hung up on a concerned client. It was a textbook case of rewriting the narrative to protect the provider rather than the patient. That's not just unprofessional--it's unethical. This clinic once stood for high-quality, compassionate care. What I experienced was a breakdown in clinical standards, emotional deflection, and a vet more invested in defending herself than caring for the animal. I've taken my dog--and her records--elsewhere. I'm sharing this for every pet owner who expects honesty, care, and professionalism from their vet. You should never be gaslit or silenced for advocating for your animal.

I wanted to learn what kind of turtle, and the environment I should release it (far from busy roads). I did. But this last visit was a sad one. Polo developed a tumor, on his lower jaw, several months back. Options included risky surgeries (mandibulectomy), or traditional cancer therapies (chemo), that would greatly diminish his quality of life, and only marginally extend it. We did get several evaluations, all the same, grim, recommendations. The only real option, was enjoy Polo until the growth affected his well being, and then humanly end his suffering. That day was two days ago (9/8/2020). We brought Polo in to be humanly euthanized (I really do not like the term "put to sleep"). Writing this makes me sad, so let me finish by saying Dr. Gwynn and her staff were caring and compassionate every step of the way. I was able to stay with Polo, the entire time, right up his last breath and heartbeat. Toward the end, after the first shot, a tranquilizer, he even started purring. I like to think it was because he was no longer in pain, and that he could see me, and feel me holding him. It was, and continues to be, very sad. But I (we) are happy that Polo is no longer suffering. We are very grateful to Dr. Gwynn and her staff for their help with this difficult thing to do. Bottom line: We will miss you Polo, always.

This kind of treatment would really make me upset if it were towards my dogs, but rabbits are fragile and can literally die of a heart attack at loud noises, so this is quite a serious issue.
