What a great shopping experience I had at this store…read more Backstory - I have a king bed set and unbeknownst to me, it had a standard (el cheapo) frame that was supporting the mattress and box set. It worked fine for years, but last night, I guess I was a little too overly aggressive (if you know what I mean) and BAM the bed frame broke. I ended up removing the mattress from the frame and slept on the floor. Not knowing exactly what to do, I was driving past City Mattress and decided to stop in and see about a replacement. I was greeted by Carlton Williams and he was super friendly and informative. He showed me a replacement for my exact frame and suggested two different optional upgrades (one had rounded edges and one did not) that were far superior in strength to the one I currently have. I decided to buy the best and strongest bed frame and asked about delivery and he said it would be free for tomorrow. When I asked about same day delivery, he said it is an upcharge and will check the schedule. I left the store at 12:30pm and two delivery men showed up at my house at 2:30pm (exactly two hours since I left the store) and took apart my frame and installed the new super heavy duty frame. The name of the frame is Engage K Knick Hybrid and it was around $200 and is super strong. I was told it can support 1,000 pounds and I don't weight that much, but can give it the old college try tonight if you know what I mean. Thanks Carlton and City Mattress for outstanding service.

We had one more store to shop before we would make a decision which we politely explained to the woman while looking and as soon as she heard that she literally walked away from us and jumped on the next couple walking in the door. Mathias helped me weigh the pros and cons of a few different mattresses, keeping in mind my sleeping style and price point. He was so incredibly kind, personable and I didn't feel as if he was being pushy or salesy. It genuinely felt like someone who knew a lot about mattresses trying to help me find my best fit. I ended up walking out with a Sleepy's hybrid queen size mattress by Sealy's. They have a wonderful add on, where the delivery team will on box your new mattress, and take away the old one plus any boxes or trash that comes with the new. They also have a price match guarantee for up to a year! Meaning if your mattress is cheaper at any point in time from the day you purchase yours till a year later, they will match that price point and give you a refund. Also, if you don't like your mattress within 4 months, you can return or exchange it. I believe exchanging it is free, but returning it has a $150 fee. I ordered it today, and they could come as quickly as Sunday, if you pay for the add-on where the delivery team comes and places your new mattress in your home and takes out the old, you get a 2 hour delivery window. Most other places the window is way bigger, so I appreciate that! I haven't purchased a mattress in over 15 years, and this process was so much easier than I anticipated it on being and I am so excited to sleep comfortably in just a few days!

Once they make the sale, you are on your own. No refunds for damaged couch, no refunds or store credit for being lied to by the sales rep about couch covers being able to be removed for machine safe wash.
