I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. I dislike stores where you are pressured to make a purchase or must be followed around the store by a sales rep. That was not my experience at City Mattress. I had been referred to Anthony Morris by a friend who had recently bought a mattress and was impressed with him. I called in advance to be sure he would be in, as he works part time. He is a warm, pleasant, Brit (with a delightful heavy British accent) professional in his demeanor without being stuffy. And he sure knows his business. He was able to educate us about the various types of mattresses, explain why some were considerably more expensive than others, and answered al of my inarticulate questions, never once making me feel like a fool. I had made it clear from the start that I was info collecting and would not buy anything that day. He was comfortable with that and gave me his undivided attention. I returned again to reconsider some options, and then made a decision. I still needed a bed, as I was changing my queen sized mattress to a king, or more accurately, two twin extra longs, as we purchased lifters to allow the head and foot of the bed to be adjusted up. I am looking forward to using them. We also bought sheet sets and a mattress protector. None of this was inexpensive, although I though the bed pricing was very good. I'm comfortable with my decision and look forward to its delivery and installation. The experience of mattress acquisition was made pleasant by the expertise of Anthony and the variety of choices at City Mattress. I visited December 21 to purchase a new bed, mattress, and box spring. I was a little wary about going to another furniture store following my dismal success at four others. Upon entering I was greeted by Lori, who was dressed and acted very professional. I told her I wanted a firmer mattress and black bed set. I laid on a few mattresses, and found a fit. It took a little bit of doing, but we discovered a bedroom that was also ideal. The price for everything was $1400, which is fair. I could have purchased my furniture from Rooms To Go, City Furniture, or anywhere. I just felt Lori cared about me and the products were quality. I appreciated the non aggressive approach. I had a terrible experience with City Mattress in Boca Raton. The first mattress I bought in January of 2018, sank 1/2 inch in 2 weeks. I replaced it with a cheaper mattress. They then charged for the box spring and an additional $100. delivery charge. The mattress was not good, so I went to Costco and bought a memory foam topper to make it work. They did not properly credit my account and the company Wells Fargo who handles their credit card. I am still trying to get the proper credit and it is May 31, 2018. I keep getting a run around and it makes me so sad that both Wells Fargo and City Mattress treat their customers in this manor. read more

Purchased my mattress 2.5 years ago and it had gotten a huge dip. Called on a Friday to see about the warranty. Was told I would be called the next week by the service team for a rep to come out no charge to inspect. Received the call the following Monday and setup the appointment for Friday. Rep Andrew arrived within the time window and was friendly and said I did qualify for a credit. He also gave me tips about the supports to make sure it didn't happen again. I was given a case number and told I could go into the store and would receive store credit for the amount I paid. After researching option online I went to the store on Saturday with my case number and the sales rep Cara pulled up and all was in line. With Mattress City I didn't have to get the same mattress, I received store credit in the full amount I paid. I picked out a mattress and the price she gave me was the same as online.It was about $20 more than the credit so I paid the difference and set up the delivery for the following Thursday. Delivery team showed up a few minutes before the scheduled window. They were quick and courteous. After reading all kinds of horror stores of people fighting for service I found the process so quick and easy couldn't believe it. So for $20 and a couple hours time I have a new mattress thanks to the great people at City Mattress. read more

I am a property manager and needed 2 beds quickly for a client. I walked in the East Boca store and Roberto Conde was there to greet me. We found the beds in a very timely fashion and they were to be delivered the next day. When they came to deliver the beds to my surprise I had ordered the wrong beds. I called Roberto back and over the phone he corrected the order. I needed the beds by 12/26 and this all took place on 12/22. We were in need of a king size mattress. After quite an extensive search of numerous stores and advertised sales, City Mattress topped our "check-it-out" list for price and customer reviews. We were greeted and patiently assisted by Anthony Morris ... he LISTENED to what we wanted, brought us to the brand that we were interested in and had us try the various models. He never "pushed us" in any direction, allowed my wife and I some personal time to discuss pros and cons without being "in our face" and answered all of our questions. Once we had settled on what we had been looking for, we asked him to show us comparable quality beds from other brands ... he generously obliged us and gave us time to go back to our original selection for comparison purposes (after having tried so many different beds, you tend to lose track of what you are comparing - Anthony understood this). Long story short, we chose a different brand than the one we had come into the store to purchase, mush preferred the feel and comfort of that brand and paid $400 less ... we were very happy campers. The delivery occurred on the day and at the precise time that we had scheduled. The crew of two young men were courteous, careful around the apartment and mindful not to hit anything as they manoeuvred the mattress and box-springs through tight spaces; they assembled the base, installed the bed in lightning speed, cleaned-up the wrapping and cardboard, ensured that we were pleased with the product and where they had placed it in the bedroom and left wishing us a Happy Valentine's Day ... most efficient and competent service that we have experienced in quite a while. Even though mom felt pretty confident about the mattress she picked out on our initial visit, after sleeping on it for a good 45 days, she discovered it really wasn't the right one for her.
