I started coming here when I moved to Greenville in 2018 to service my 2018 Ford. I almost always use the Quick Lane services but have used the regular service department as well. Over the last three years, I have never interacted with a rude team member. From the front desk to the techs to sales and shuttle everyone is always providing a five-star experience. The service is always prompt and with a smile. They don't make unnecessary recommendations and operate with integrity. I typically drop it off in the morning before work and pick it up afterwards. I have never had an issue with my vehicle not being ready. Over the years I've interacted most with Tyler in the Quick Lane and his service never disappoints. He always makes it a great experience. Scheduled service and recall examination of my truck and schedule for 5/30, they are unable to do the service due to "overbooking". Rescheduled the service three weeks later, today 6/21. Yet another phone call, "unable to complete due to overbooking". Sorry, I need my vehicle and I need it serviced. Don't waste your time with Hastings Ford, all they'll do is waste yours. Called for a Ford edge because I re warranty had been extended. They said brake booster was covered at no cost to me several times. Call next day nothing covered. Pay full price or get nothing done and pay $230 for looking at it. Lied to my face and then treated me like crap. They did take fee off after I talked to someone else. Glad to have got car back. I have went to several other Ford dealerships in the Goldsboro Kinston area and was absolutely disappointed in the trade value that they put on my vehicle. Shoddy and unprofessional work. Uncaring management. I have been a customer of Hastings Ford since 1994. I have bought 14 vehicles there from 1994 to 2012. This 2013 F 150 will be my last October 29 I stuck a deer and damaged the left front corner. The poor thing spun around and struck the left side and made the side curtain airbags and drivers seat airbag deploy. I was out in Washington County and had to make a flight in Raleigh so I tucked the airbags back up and kept driving. When I returned 2 weeks later I drove it back to Greenville, NC where I bought the truck thinking I would get quality and prompt service. Nothing could be further from reality. I dropped the vehicle off November 16 ang got it back December:26. I could have gotten it back at least a week earlier. The collision center was busy due to the volume of cars that time of year. I understand that. However, they let the truck sit until the body work was done THEN they installed the airbags. At that point they diagnosed a damaged airbag relay and I had to wait for the part. I asked them why they didn't do the airbags first. The body shop foreman Brain told me " they just don't doI it that way". On inspection I noticed the left headlamp housing was full of water, the decal on the rear box side was full of air bubbles and looked like a fourth grader put it on. I needed my truck so I took it and would see if the water cleared and fix the decal myself. I was driving home and got to highway speed and heard an awful rattle. I got home to find the fender liner wasn't attached on the front and the tire had burned the front off. I called Brian Maas who was the Operations Managers and was quick to respond. I am disabled and driving is very painful for me. He had a loaner car delivered to me in Nags Head, NC 2 hours away. It took 2 weeks to get a new fender liner. I didn't have a truck for another 2 weeks and I really needed one. I finally got my truck back. I finally thought this whole fiasco was over. It was over $12,000 for a fender bender. I finished my tasks in Nags Head and took a road trip west. The truck is awesome and I love it. I was in Oregon for several weeks seeing a friend. On day she got in the truck a grabbed the entry assist handle which is part of the trim on the windshield frame. She pulled it off. The technician at Hastings neglected to put the screws in to anchor the handle. The only thing attaching this large piece is two small clips. So then I had a potential life threatening hazard in my truck. Should this airbag deploy this large steel reinforced piece of trim will fly off and strike me or the passenger. I called Hastings Ford immediately and several times thereafter. I left messages for William Wilson ,the General Manager, explaining to the receptionist the problem and the liability issue and also tried to reach Brian Maas repeatedly. I was on hold forever and got no return calls. I finally lodged a complaint with Ford and called Brian on his cell phone. It turned out he resigned 3 weeks earlier but was still there tying up loose ends. I told him I lodged a complaint. He went and got the parts ordered. I will finally get it repaired. Hopefully I will get home to get it repaired. I also just discovered my seat memory doesn't work either. I'm guessing it's not plugged in. I was in the car business for many years and was a mechanic and a shop foreman. I can't believe no one is upset or even apologized for such sloppy and incompetent work. The fact it put my life in danger tells me they will never touch my car again. I would to have a conversation with the owner or Mr. Wilson but so far they haven't honored my request. I love Ford products but I wouldn't let these people touch your car for service. read more

I've bought 2 cars from this dealership in the past, had very good experiences both times! Mike Laurin was the salesman, unfortunately unless it's changed, believe he is over at the Toyota dealership now. I have been to the dealership for service, no issues and also just to look around, can't remember the salesman name, but they weren't pushy or anything, very relaxed and answered any questions I had. Would love to give them 5 stars, but I can't due to the financial department. Don't know if still do it or not, but they do the interest rate reserve practice at this dealership, you need to look it up if don't understand what that means. Pretty much, if you plan to do a car purchase with them, go to your OWN BANK or credit union to find out what your rate is. Also be prepared to have all kinds of extras thrown at you, warranties, maintenance plans and such, they will overwhelm with that, when sitting down with financial department. read more

Hastings Ford is a joke. I contacted them over 2 months ago to repair the airbag on my Ford due to a recall notice. Initially they told me I was on a wait list for the part (I was number 10 supposedly) and they estimated a 2-3 week wait. That was on April 10th. I called them 5 times since then and still no part and they didn't know when it would come in. Finally got tired of waiting and called Doug Henry Ford in Ayden. Six days later they call to tell me they have the part that Hastings claimed they couldn't get for over 2 months! I've had other bad experiences with Hastings in the past - (including telling me filters needed to be changed (within 2 months of new ones being put in!!). You're better off taking your car to Ayden! Longer drive if you live in Greenville but at least competent service! read more

I went to Hastings Ford because that is where my family always got their vehicles and the staff was always friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the customer. Things have completely changed and I had a horrible experience. First the salesman moved really fast and had me convinced that the way to go was a new Ford Focus SE and took me on a test drive. He came back with a price and it was well above the price I wanted but I felt as though I did not have a choice and I signed a few papers. As I was signing I asked the salesman if I could stop and discuss things over with my wife and then make a decision later. He said that I had gone too far and signed too many papers to get out of the deal now. I was extremely sad and disappointed in myself. Five days later I was getting use to having the new vehicle and I was just getting over paying more than I wanted and my so called "new car" stops working after five days and 200 miles. The car leaves me stranded at work and I have to have my vehicle towed from Kinston back to the dealership. I wait an hour for the tow truck guy to get to Kinston and then have to ride back to the dealership. Meanwhile I call the Hastings Ford and ask to speak to the General Manager and he is "busy" so I leave my call back information. Another 40 minutes go by and I call back to Hastings Ford and ask to speak to the General Manager again and this time "he is out of the office." At this point I started to feel like no one really cares about the fact that my car doesn't work or what I have been through and that they already have my money so "who cares." More than anything I am just disappointed with how the whole experience went. Buying a new car should be a pleasure and not something that keeps you up at night and worried and depressed. I thought a lot of Hastings Ford and the entire team before this experience but I can see that things have changed from what they used to be. read more

Just bought a car there, they are so awesome. They work so hard to make sure my husband and I were happy. They were the only dealership who did not try and sell us something more expensive than what we wanted. They found us a great match, the service we received was exceptional. Our salesman, Ryan, was amazing. He personally made everything perfect for us. He did not pressure us to buy, and did not mind staying late for us. Doug, the manager was great as well. He worked hard to get us a awesome deal. Kenny, the insurance and finance guy, has a great personality and gave us great advice. Overall the atmosphere was wonderful. After Geico called them and they hung up, I was left carless because their customer service was poorly trained and had a horrible attitude. I went with a more reliable company who knows what they are doing. Do not waste your time with this company. If I could have scored less than one, I would have. Stay the hell away from these people. My sister purchased a brand new car and two nights later hit a deer. She took the car to Hastings and, after a full month, got her car back with a warped hood, parts not attached properly, air conditioning that did not function properly, and several other issues. They have all but refused to properly address the issue and she found herself wondering where to go next. Only 700 miles on her new car, and these monkeys have turned it into a rolling wreck. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! I requested my car to go there after I got into an accident in July. It's November and I'm still not driving my car... The body shop failed to do what they said and I just got sick of calling them and took my car to another Ford bodyshop in another city. And on top of that, the customer service provided by one of the staff members in the bodyshop was terrible! They gave me my car back saying that it was finished but the car still had dents in it and my front wheel was not even positioned right. They put my life in danger by doing a half job and actually thought I was going to let it slip by. Never again!! Very unsatisfying... read more

We used the Quick Lane to get my son's old car inspected. I felt like the staff made it a priority to get it done quickly so I could get the sticker from DMV the same day. They offered to do that first and call me as soon as it was done and in the system. We also had his oil changed. They thoroughly checked the car and gave us a rundown of anything they thought needed attention. But, there was no hard sell tactics. I have bought 2 used cars from them. I have always worked with Otis and gotten a fair price. I have always been pleased with the service department of Hasting's Ford. read more

In for an inspection/oil change/and battery check....Quick Lube is a great alternative to the regular service dept. I dropped my car off for the inspection/oil change/etc. and the diagnostic check did indicate a weak battery, with a phone call to let me know and to explain my options. Very personable and knowledgeable staff in the Quick Lube and although I had a ride, the waiting areas are fine OR the Shuttle Service is a good alternative for transport. read more

The service department has to be the worst that I've ever seen. I've taken my car to this place on two different occasions and each time it was a different screw up. I honesty feel like the people that work here are the kind of people that are just there for a paycheck. Understood! But, what does that mean for the customers of Hastings ford? They really don't value their customers. It almost always takes them 2-3 times to get things right, and no matter what they do they lie about it and give you some fake apology to try to make it right. The only time you're a valued customer at Hastings ford is if you're buying something. The first time I took my vehicle to this place I had a axle seal leak. I was told my vehicle would be ready for pickup the next day. It wasn't! In fact when it was ready days later no one even bothered to call me. The second time I had a power steering issue and I go in to check on the progress because again they never call you when it's ready. I look and they've tore the shit out of my console. I talked with the manager about it and instead of being genuinely apologetic.. she wants to explain to me how it LOOKS like it was already done. Nope not happening! Long story short that was fixed and I shall never return to that shit hole again. I think the whole service Dept needs to be replaced. They're all rude and they don't take pride in their work when they're fixing your vehicle. I say that because I'm still having problems with my axle seal. They tore my console up and didn't want to take responsibility of it. Note to self take pictures of your vehicle BEFORE you leave it with them, Expect extremely long wait time for your vehicle to be ready, and maybe they'll call you when it's ready or maybe not. read more
