Stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a typical nice diner. Good menu selections and clean. I opted for the soup and salad bar. Ok selections on the salad end but three yummy soups to choose from. I tried a little of each-chili, chicken wild rice and beef stew. All were nice and hot and delish. Great place for a nice comfort food meal!

Pancake Platter with 5 strips of bacon hash browns and 2 over easy eggs. 8.99. Couldn't finish it all and needed a nap.

Located in a truck stop. It's the perfect stop for truckers for fuel. A shower. And a filling meal! These places are getting to be far and few between with the big chain truck stops taking over the truck stop industry that only offer fast food and expensive groceries . I had the special. Pancake plater. Came with 2 huge pancakes. 2 eggs. Choice of meat (ham, sausage patties or bacon). I took bacon (5slices) hash browns or fried potatoes. Water and a carafe of coffee Service was quick and server checked 2-3 times how everything was. Couldn't eat it all! Got full!! Took a nap after I ate.... Will definitely stop again if I'm in the area!!

I was on my way to pick someone up at the airport in Minneapolis and I needed to get out of the horrible traffic on I-94 for a break. This is a truck stop with good truck stop food and I had the trucker special breakfast. I dined on 2 eggs over easy, whole wheat toast and 3 slices of bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was thick and cooked to a proper crispness. The waitress bless her soul was hustling to handle the unexpected rush of people bailing from the traffic mess on I-94. The place was clean and my breakfast was okay as breakfasts go. The price was reasonable, I think I got out of there for less than 15 dollars including the tip. I don't know that I will have a situation come up again where I would need to stop there again but if I did I would eat there again.

Pancakes the size of the plate. A meaty omelette with oozing cheese. Yummy hash browns and scrumptious coffee cake.

First time here today. Absolutely loved everything. It's a hidden gem. Best breakfast in the area. See the pics. The omelette a are huge and full of fresh quality ingredients. The pancakes are the size of the whole plate too. The coffee cake was fresh tasting and moist and flavorful. The burger was very good as well. The fries had a nice crisp on the outside of them. Everything was awesome. Even our waiter Ty was great. Highly recommend this place. This will now be my new spot for breakfast with the hubby. Will definitely be going back to try lunch and dinner entrees as well.

Stopped with kids on a Sun morning. Service was crazy slow but food was good. Server was friendly & apologized but so much waiting w/kids.

Service was good. Breakfast was OK, but the toast was not buttered. I don't understand. Unbuttoned toast?

I work in Albertville, and I will be coming here just for the hash browns alone. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Oh well, the burger made up for the chips. Their burgers are smash burger style. Beer on tap is really good. What I didn't like was the bistro style seating on stools that are too small to accommodate a larger person. Mr. G. and I were uncomfortable due to seating options. More normal size tables and chairs need to be offered, not everyone likes bistro stools. This is a good place to meet up with friends and have a beer or two and some decent food. The concept of a place where time stands still fir a tavern was cool. None of the clocks work so time stands still. Over all rating is 4 due to limited table and chairs and the reliance on bistro stools fir seating.

I saw it on their online menu as well as on the chalkboard in the restaurant. So my husband and I sat down, ordered drinks, and went to order our food just to find out that apparently they haven't been receiving shipments lately to make the duck wontons. At that point, we had already ordered our drinks and it was too close to the kitchen closing to go anywhere else so I was forced to order something else. The rest of the food was good however, the corned beef was very peppery and the waitress knew that I didn't like spicy stuff so a heads up on that would've been nice. Overall, no matter how the food tasted. It was disappointing because of the expectations of having a duck wontons available. The least that they could've done is written something on their menu or crossed it off the chalkboard in the restaurant. That way I would've known ahead of time before we ordered. Also it says they are open until 10 but the kitchen closed at 8.

The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate. Tried the cheese curds and fried pickles for appetizers- came with delicious homemade ranch for dipping. Got the Rundown and Queen burger with waffle fries and tots to try the different options. I loved the Rundown burger - so refreshing for a summer burger. The tots came with cheese dip - yum! Saw another person order a Bloody Mary and had to give that a whirl. They home make the mix and make them spicy or not to order. The place is broken up into different rooms which made for a more intimate atmosphere while also being able to serve a lot of folks.
