HATCH ASPHALT PAVING was so easy to work with and they listened to your needs and what you wanted from them to complete the job. 1st the Cleanup Crew came to take out the old driveway. They did a superb job. The Crew was Polite and Friendly, and they made sure the driveway was ready for the Paving Crew. 2nd the Paving Crew showed up 5 days later and started to lay down the Asphalt in Stages. This Crew was also Polite and Friendly. The Manager of the crew made sure he talked to me to make sure that he knew what I wanted them to accomplish. I was concerned about the water pitch away from the house. He insured me that it will be done right. And it was. I am very pleased with the work HATCH ASPHALT PAVING did for us. be very careful with this company. They paved my complex a month and a half ago. They opened my neighbor's garage and ruined his truck after shooting asphalt all over the truck costing about 16,000$ in repairs. The company is denying all entry and everything after speaking to multiple people and recording conversations. They are refusing insurance information and now have a lawsuit put against them. Be VERY careful when hiring them. They destroyed his truck and garage and not taking accountability. read more

The Hatch crew showed up this morning to seal my driveway that I had booked in early April. Due to Covid-19 there were delays which is completely understandable. Doug and his crew worked their asses off and did an outstanding job. They were quick and efficient and informative regarding the sealing and also looked at a section in need of repair. They gave me a suggestion and will send me a quote to perform the repair. After reading the prior reviews I admit I was skeptical but not anymore. Unfortunately, after a couple of years of trying to resolve issues from work done I have given up. Driveway and drain repair was done back in 2017. The owner makes you think he wants to work with you but that is not the case. If you do choose them make sure your conteact is detailed and don't make changes or agree to anything unless you have it in writing. read more

Driveway addition, repair, sealing and crack sealing. First the people working there are nice and do good work. The scheduling and communication is horrible. Multiple times we were told next step was scheduled on certain. No one shows up. No communication. Call them up and yes, I see you were scheduled on that day. So sorry. Sometimes it was because the equipment broke. Other times she just didnt know why. We started this process in April. It is now the middle of September and they have only completed 1/2 the steps. I gave them 2 stars for the pleasant employees that dealt with me. But the scheduling and lack of communication around the scheduling would a negative 5 stars. read more

I hired Hatch in June 2001 to fix an area of asphalt outside my garage doors and a full seal coat. Although deposits were made and many calls took place they did not show up to perform work until summer 2022. When they arrived their truck hitch was broke and they could not bring the infrared machine to do the job correctly and built a large berm in front of my garage doors on top of the existing and left. After management saw the work performed they quoted me additional to tear it all out along with a large area of old driveway so the driveway could be pitched properly even though i was not told this during the estimate process. They performed the work and left the seam between old and new as if there was a wide, crooked trench cut in the middle of the driveway and not a nice clean seam like they performed out by the street on town property. They also seal coated the new asphalt against industry standards which now has not cured properly and is not hardened where it is sinking/scuffing in multiple areas where we cannot park our cars in the new large area which is a huge inconvenience. I have contacted the office and salesman countless times and have been told constantly they will contact me the same day to schedule to fix the work properly. They still owe me a seal coat they are refusing to schedule that i paid for already. They came to sealcoat late October last year once they tended to every other customer and it was too cold to dry where it all washed away. I was told at that time they would redo it this year but are now not willing to come back. This is the 3rd season since hiring this company and has been an aweful experience where i feel ripped off and taken advantage of. I recently filed a BBB complaint and am in the process of printing all my phone records, emails, and am filing with the state licensing board to request a hearing. Never thought I would have to hire another contractor out of pocket because they refuse to come back. read more

(This time a paving job) I had mentioned I never got a return call for previous work, he handed me his card and said "call my cell phone " which I did a day or two later, no answer no return call. I decided to use Hatch paving after seeing their signs throughout my neighborhood and beyond. The crew that worked on my driveway replace was efficient and hard working. After the work was completed and after a rain storm we noticed a pool of water at the base of our front door. Not good as this could cause a problem in the winter. I called and was asked to send them pictures as to what was occurring. They sent out a crew within a week and corrected the problem. My driveway looks great. I am holding off on final judgement until we make it thru the winter to see how everything holds up. Right now, I am happy with their work and their quick response to correct the problem. This company is a bunch of scam artists who have no idea what they're doing. They will quote you lower than competitors frankly because they cut corners to try and get you into a contract. They've had their BBB accreditation revoked multiple times in the past year. They damaged our property and then never came back to finish the job. They start ignoring phone calls and then we eventually took legal action. I've talked to numerous people who have had similar issues and the attorney general and sheriffs office been called to have to assist in litigation and them paying the settlements. We came across a ad on Facebook to have our driveway seal coated for a set price so we set up an appointment with Hatch. They called us and emailed us with a date that they would come out. They follow through a couple of days before the appointment and let us know that they were coming, the worker did a great job on the Seal Coating our driveway with an unbelievable price very happy with the service and the communication with hatch. Two guys showed up on the scheduled day but where having problems with the pump for the liquid. Was not pumping. After a few hours they got it to work. The guys where very friendly, professional and committed to getting the job complete. They did a good job but the edges could of been sealed better. I am not sure what to write. This job was done a while ago. Looked great when they were done. The crew handled the job well. I would have liked the cracks filled better looked more like the sealant was the filler, I have had some cracks filled before. Another company did a seal job couple years later. I liked the seal job Hatch did. I think they could have done a better job filling the cracks as the results were not what I was expecting. I could consider them for sealcoating after I have the cracks filled. I did not Bird dog and did not go walking around to inspect while they were there. first look was ok. 1 star does not even justify these guys. It's been almost 2 years since they first started the seal coating for our driveway and only finished 25% and they have not come back. They would send repeated emails on rescheduling and ironically they would schedule it on rainy days. These guys should really be embarrassed how they are operating! read more

I was skeptical of their residential seal coat promotion this spring, but I took the gamble! Shortly i received the contract and after 2 months of waiting for my scheduled appointment the crew showed up early in the morning. They sealed most of the larger cracks and seal coated my entire driveway within 2 hours. They paid close attention to where the driveway met the stone walkway and house, no overage. There was just some along the grass which i'm not worried about because it'll just grow out and disappear with a few mows. There were a couple drips on the driveway I was able to pick off with a putty knife but overall, I was very pleased with their service and work. read more

Hatch Paving paved my neighbors driveway last year. They used base coat as finish coat and needless to say its now falling apart and they refuse to fix the problem.The entire job looks like Ass!! They wont return phone calls that my neighbor has placed to them on several occasions ! My neighbors are good hard working people with children and dont deserve to be ripped off like this !!
