I talked to Sean and he answered all of the questions that I had before I decided to go to their showroom to look at it in person. I stopped by the Holliston store after work in April and I was impressed by every employee in the store practicing social distancing, wearing masks, etc. during the peak of COVID-19. I looked at the hot tub in person and it was everything that I was told it was before I got there. The salesperson was very friendly and answered all of my questions that I had about the Caldera Spas. The salesperson was not pushy at all. I ended up purchasing the same display model a few days later. Josh came to my house to perform a pre-delivery site survey and drop off the electrical service panel a few days after that. A couple of weeks later, the Hearthside Service team came to delivery my new hot tub and install all of the accessories on it. They were all very friendly and cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving. I have had a very positive experience with the purchase and delivery of my new Caldera Spa and highly recommend Hearthside Fireplace & Patio! I can also highly recommend the Service Team over at Hearthside as well. I have had a couple of issues with the my new spa, but that was to be expected as it was a display model and a couple of years old. The technician that comes here is very friendly and always leaves everything exactly as he found it and cleans up prior to leaving. I recently had an issue with the Topside Control Panel on my hot tub which was causing the hot tub to shutdown and the temperature has been below freezing. The heater was unable to operate due to the faulty control panel and I was worried that the water inside of the hot tub and plumbing would freeze leading to more problems. Hearthside was able to get a technician in within the same week to figure out what was causing the issue and what they needed to order. Hearthside then ordered the part and was back here to replace it only a couple of business days later. The hot tub is now good as new. I am very impressed with their service and response. Hearthside was able to expedite the shipping on the new part that I needed even during the COVID-19 pandemic and they were also able to get the technician back here to replace it as soon as it came in. When you are purchasing a new hot tub/spa you want to make sure that the dealer is going to service it after you purchase it as they are the ones that honor the manufacturer's warranty. I can safely say that Hearthside will service your hot tub and honor the manufacturer's warranty if needed. If you're looking for a new hot tub, I would not hesitate to checkout a Caldera Spa at any of Hearthside's locations!

She harassed his employer continuously to let her know her feelings about my husband's character and that she wouldn't support her business because of his involvement. She was literally trying to get him fired for bad reviews. I owned a business for 10 years. I got a couple bad reviews along the way about employees work and had requests for refunds. I did so willingly because the customer satisfaction outweighed my ego. I would NEVER call a clients employer after they left a bad review to voice my personal opinion of them. It's absolutely insane that the owner took this route instead of just refunding the money. The owner did offer to have someone else come to do the work but our trust in the company had been diminished. We wanted a second opinion and got one. That's also the prerogative of the customer.

I gave the tech a knee brace I had that was custom made for me when I tore my ACL/MCL and cost over $4,000 because I felt so bad for him. Chimney sweep still charged my card that I had given them to book the appointment for no services rendered. They offered to come back and "re-do" work that was never done and the owner admitted as much in writing, but at this point the way they spoke to me on the phone, wanting to bring back the injured tech basically to shame him in front of a customer and even told me if there were no brush marks in the chimney he is fired, I don't want anything to do with your company. They told me my fireplace needed a new liner amongst other things and was not usable so why would you charge me to clean it? They also charged me for an oil flue cleaning and I didn't notice this till a few days later but there is a giant tag on it that says it was cleaned on 1/6/26 by the woman we bought the house from (just closed on it weeks ago). I have confirmed the cleaning with the company that services the oil burner and they are sending me the paperwork confirming this. They quoted me a price of almost $10,000 for repairs verbally but never sent the estimate. I also had 2 chimney companies come in for repair estimates and they both confirmed (in writing) no cleaning was done here and I had company that day and they can confirm no vacuum was ever run and no cleaning ever happened. I was told my dryer vent would be cleaned for free on the phone and they wanted over $100 to clean it the day of. With all this they refuse to refund the money they charged me. This company installed granite countertops in my newly remodeled kitchen seven years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this at the time and ended up spending thousands of dollars repainting my cabinets, only to recently learn from another contractor that water had been seeping through the faulty seam all along, causing additional damage. When I contacted the company, they asked for $300 to reseal it, which feels unreasonable given that this appears to be an installation issue. I even offered to wait until they were working in the area, since it's a quick fix, but they were not willing to accommodate. I would recommend looking for a company that stands behind its work and provides better long-term support. Also, if possible, avoid placing seams near the sink--what seems like a minor detail can lead to significant damage over time.

Showed up right on time. Their system sent notifications letting me know when they were on their way and estimate arrival time. They surveyed, and immediately quoted the work. They did not try to overall sell me they understood the situation. Fixed some cracking in the mortar on top of the Chimney, as noted by inspector and installed new Chimney cap. Everything done in a few hours. Also they are providing an invoice with pictures so I have documentation of what was done.

We brought it back and he stated he would have a check the following week obviously seeing the pipe upon return and knowing this is NOT NORMAL to happen being a professional in the field. He called the next day and said he was not issuing a check. Reason being it was not professionally installed(HE KNEW IT WASN'T INSTALLED AND COULD CLEARLY SEE THE PIPE DID NOT HAVE A SCRATCH ON IT WHEN RETURNED). It was NEVER installed. NEVER put down the chimney. He also got rid of the box the pipe came in and had to retrieve it from the trash he also failed to return a part of the kit the flashing and chimney vent... saying we already had it. WE did not and have no reason to hoard random pieces for stoves(he does though) I spoke with Duravent who made the pipe and they said it could be put in for reimbursement or replacement. But that he had to do it not me. We have been in contact with Sterling Distributors to no avail the owner states we need to deal with Royal fireside. I have put a call in to them and will update where this goes. I will not give up on what is right even if it means losing out of pocket.
