I was skeptical of their residential seal coat promotion this spring, but I took the gamble! Shortly i received the contract and after 2 months of waiting for my scheduled appointment the crew showed up early in the morning. They sealed most of the larger cracks and seal coated my entire driveway within 2 hours. They paid close attention to where the driveway met the stone walkway and house, no overage. There was just some along the grass which i'm not worried about because it'll just grow out and disappear with a few mows. There were a couple drips on the driveway I was able to pick off with a putty knife but overall, I was very pleased with their service and work. read more

Hatch Paving paved my neighbors driveway last year. They used base coat as finish coat and needless to say its now falling apart and they refuse to fix the problem.The entire job looks like Ass!! They wont return phone calls that my neighbor has placed to them on several occasions ! My neighbors are good hard working people with children and dont deserve to be ripped off like this !! Not a reliable company. Very poor customer service. Booked my appointment in March, when I got my first confirmation they would be doing it in May, they were able to get to the house 4 lots away, then said there was weather on the way and couldn't get to mine. No call or communication. I had to call the next day to find out what happened?? Appointment rebooked. 3 weeks later again they cancel without notification, (ironically the friday before memorial day) when I call at 4pm they say another job went long and want to book another 2 weeks away. they seem overwhelmed and have no concern for customers that make arrangements to insure cars are not in the way and keep them off for several days. Have had a terrible experience with this company and it's owner, Jared Hatch and it is still going on. Gave a large deposit and signed a contract in May (quoted 4-6 weeks). No communication from company until we called in early September. Was told at this time that we were not even on their schedule and not sure they can get to us this year. That they priortized bigger jobs before us! After pushing back on this, was given a prep and pave date of early Oct. No show-had to call the office and was told they were not coming due to weather (weather was fine). Got a new date for following week-no show again. Called the office again and was assured they would get the job done the following week...now we are into third week of October. No show again (third time). Called office again. The woman was nice but said she had no idea why they were not coming or why we were not called. She assured me that she would speak with owner, Jared Hatch and we would hear something. Played phone tag with Jared for a week (he never seemed to be available) and finally talked a week later and he still did not have us on the calendar. He offered mid November-ish. After expressing alot of concern that it might be too cold by then he promised he would get it started by 10/27 and again no show, no call. As of 10/30, they still have our deposit and no one will call us back. read more

Terrible service, snow removal? My 12 year old could do a better job. Inexperienced snow removal crew. They left a snow blower and bobcat attachment i the middle of our culdesac which is still there. When I called them the lady said "Yeh we've mentioned that to our foreman a few times". Unfortunately they don't have a handle on the business and it shows big time. If they cant push snow, I cant imagine how the paving is but based on all the negative reviews I see here its sub-par at best. read more

My experience with Hatch was extremely positive. I had my existing driveway ripped up, leveled with new gravel added and compacted, a 2" base coat and a 2" top coat. The work was done extremely well, all workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Jared, the owner responded to each call. They protected all areas not involved and cleaned up afterwards. Zero complaints. Very professional team. They showed up when scheduled and worked their butts off on a 95 degree day. I highly recommend them. I'm appalled that people have given this guy 5 star reviews...DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM! From providing a hack job of a driveway installation, damaging house property with equipment and almost causing a house fire, this guy couldn't even own up to the despicable work he did. The matter had to be taken to small claims court, where he also couldn't show himself, and even then, he couldn't provide the mandated payment on time. His BBB accreditation has been revoked on more than one occasion and he's only gotten it back after changing the company name. He's run away from Franklin, Medway and Millis after a bad reputation and has now made his way into Uxbridge. Do NOT reccommend this liar to anyone!! read more

There should be an option for zero stars. Highly unprofessional: The facts: 1 I hired Jared Hatch to repave driveway and install basketball net. 2 I paid Hatch $9550, including $8900 for driveway and $650 for net installation. 3 During installation, Hatch ran out of mix. Second load of mix brought same day was either not the same mix or not the same temperature, resulting in a visible seam. 4 Lower half of driveway did not settle properly. 5 Numerous imperfections throughout the driveway: new asphalt pitches toward the garage resulting in leaking; new asphalt shows stretching cracks; lower driveway has pebbles of asphalt coming loose. 6 Basketball net was never installed. Hatch poured concrete, but claims he never intended to install net. As a result, concrete poured needs to be jackhammered, as installation requires base of net to be anchored into concrete. 7 Hatch has not returned any phone calls since my check was cashed. 8 On 11/5/18, Hatch agreed (over email) to visit work site. Upon viewing the asphalt, Hatch acknowledged problems, stating "I wouldn't want my driveway to look like this." 9 I will need to pay more than $9000 to redo the driveway and more than $1000 to jackhammer the concrete and install the net. 10 This guy is the subject of complaints with the BBB, the state AG and, as you can see, just about everyone else on Yelp. Recommendation: 11 Don't make the same mistake I made. Stay away. read more

I would NEVER recommend this company for anything!! Hatch's work is awful and of poor quality. They use deceptive practices to get your business and does not deliver. It took him over 3 months to pave our driveway and it came out awful. Hatch even admitted it came out badly. Several contractors inspected the work and advised the job should be done over (or at least refunded). The cost to correct their work as quoted by other contractors will be greater than what we originally paid. In addition to poor workmanship, they dumped debris on our neighbors property. They also refused to refund and wanted to quickly seal coat to hide poor work and imperfections in the top coat. read more

I ended up having to take him to small claims court (I won!) after he did a botched driveway and admitted it (poorly graded, and bad materials) never came back to re-do. Also he damaged my brand new garage siding and corner board. I called him for months asking him to repair what he had done, finally gave up on him and took the matter to court. update; Owner called me threatening to slander my business (I have never done work for him) on google if I didn't remove this review, which I pointed out is defamation of character and would take him to court, he then made other vague threats, I went straight to police dept and filed complaint. I hired Hatch landscape and design inc in April 2019 and they did a terrible job. I had to take them to court and they hired a another company to fix their mistakes but not the entire issue was resolved. Unfortunately I went back to court in front of an unhappy magistrate. They ruled in the Hatch favor after I filed a motion to have them removed from acting on my case. Be very cautious of hiring this company. They were unprofessional, they didn't answer my calls or emails. They did 1 day prior to court. I would never hire this company again. I will not even have them do the sealing, although this will mean my warranty will end. I rather that then give this company any more business. Look at the reviews. Don't be fooled. Getting a hold of them is a chore. They break things like a $1000.00 garage door and then deny it. Plus try to charge more after the agreement was signed. Although they tried to make good on it when they come back to rectify they do a half assed job. Then when I get mad (I think rightfully so). I get a call saying that I am unprofessional! REALLY?? I wish I had read these reviews before hiring Hatch. I had 3 quotes that I was reviewing when Jared called to say he was in our area and would take $300 off if we agreed to have him do the driveway the next day. I agreed. They ripped out the old driveway and put in a new one all in the same day. We did not drive on it for 2 full weeks. The driveway never cured and when warmer weather came 9 months later the asphalt began crumbling any time someone turned on it. Jared assured me a seal coating for $375 (after spending $5900 on the driveway) would solve the issue. It made it worse and we now have 20+ torn up areas. After leaving MANY message with the admin I got a phone call back from Jared. He took no responsibility. I kept at him and he finally agreed to hire a 3rd party to determine the root cause of the problem. That was in July .... I've never heard from him. I'm currently seeking legal action. read more

Did my driveway over a year ago. ended up with sealcoating all over 4 of my garage doors and vinyl trim. Admitted the problem was their fault and promised to fix it. I've been chasing them for over a year. I have emails where they said they put in an insurance claim but now they won't return my calls. They seemed like nice people but looks can be deceiving!!
