Ii bought a GMC Yukon from GMC hatchett the service guy was Matt and he did as much as he could so the problem I am having is the A/C didn't work and we didn't check because we bought it in Winter but heat worked that was good also 2 tire sensors didn't work and the back glass was leaking didn't find that out when it went through the car wash. We also bought a warranty but only covered the A/C. My problem is they sold this yukon to me probably knowing these were not working or leaking they wanted to charge me for the back glass $1100 and the tire sensors $900 GMC warranty covered the A/C thank God so the problem I am having is why didn't the salesperson or Hachett offer to fix it or even discount the charges. Worst dealership ever! Arrived to buy a vehicle. Wanted to test drive first. While setting in the car with engine running salesman says sales manager got a phone call from previous person who looked at car and he wants it. We have to get out and talk to manager. No deposit just his word and being previous customer was enough to save the vehicle from me who was in person with down payment ready to buy. Where do I start. My truck hasn't worked right for over a year after I took to them for a software update. Their update disabled my gps, onstar, Wi-Fi, time and date, and the mobile app. They also can't fix it. On top of that, I've had a broken tonneau cover that they ordered parts on eight months ago and they still haven't showed up and they keep telling me somebody just needs to call. Yet, nobody has actually called. I asked them to diagnose why my check engine light was on one time. They didn't do it. The only reason I keep taking my truck there for service is in the hopes that they screw something up so badly while servicing it that it totals it out and I can go get the truck I actually want from a reputable dealer. read more

Started looking online at Hatchett inventory. Very easy to review and quick responds on setting up a phone call or a visit to the dealership. We chose to call in and make sure the inventory was there and Mike was happy to go over the detail of what we were looking at. He also made it easy to text pictures of things we asked about to make our decision to go 2 hrs to buy a vehicle. Once there we drove it, went over everything with Mike and decide to buy because of his simplified way of selling it and helping us understand the process. For the first time in three years since i have bought my truck I received satisfactory service. I know that they cannot wash my truck because of the topper, but at least the windows were cleaned inside & out, it was vacuumed & the tire was fixed. Thank you for the improved experience. The Service Department at Hatchett Buick GMC on Greenwich Road. I had a "check engine" light come on in my 2018 GMC SLT 3/4 ton pickup truck. I called them and dropped my truck off on 21NOV22 received my truck back on 7DEC22 it took them 17 days to troubleshoot 2 bad sensors on my truck. Now, in their defense it took two extra days just to receive the one sensor that was on back order because of supply chain issues. Also, during this time I asked if the service department would be able to wash and vacuum out my truck since my truck was up there a long time. I even told them, I would pay for the wash and vacuum on my truck. So, on 7DEC22 I go to pick my truck up and nothing was washed or vacuumed. Pathetic customer service.... I needed my truck back by 3DEC22 in order to pull my RV to Kansas City for a funeral. That didn't happen, So, I had to pay an extra 300 dollars out of my pocket for hotel expense's. I will be looking for a different ASE certified mechanic shop to complete my trucks Maintence in the future. read more

Had an appointment to get my oil changed. Pulled into the bay, and was waiting for a service writer to come out and meet me at my car (I just recently had foot surgery and on crutches, so limited mobility), as I am attempting to get out of my car, someone finally approached me and apologized for the delay. I informed them, I had scheduled an oil change and tire rotation, and that I had a tire that seemed to have a leak. The paperwork shows they charged me for oil change and tire rotation, but nothing mentioning the tire loosing air. This is my first-time using Hatchett Buick GMC, usually go to Hatchett Hyundai East (because I have the lifetime warranty when I bought my used Chevy Impala from them), but due to scheduling, I used Buick GMC dealership. Guess I will be going back to Hatchett Hyundai East next time I need service. Not very impressed with the service at the Buick GMC dealership. read more

Took my car in for a oil change on Saturday and must say I was probably the most satisfied I've been in regards to the overall experience. I've not had an oil change done before on a Saturday and wasn't quiet sure what to expect. Kato greeted me and did a great job setting expectations on what was to be. He called me and let me know when it was done and when I arrived he knew called me by name and was very polite and nice. I didn't expect my truck to be washed but it was and he even said to wait and he would get the truck for me. I can honestly say that him and the crew working over the weekend made my day. BEWARE - first off, do not leave anything in your vehicle that you aren't ok having stolen. Console and glove box were rummaged through (very evident) and some cash stolen (that I forgot to have taken out). Their response is "not responsible". Will let the police investigate. Service department is inept as well. Poor communication on what is being done and when it will be done. Warranty issue not fixed right the first time and could not find the clearly evident issue the second time (evidence of water leakage, which they say is a common problem). 5 days to not fix anything. I doubt they will miss my business but we are taking it elsewhere for both of our vehicles. Use their service department at your own risk. read more

Had an easy airbag recall fix, scheduled my service one week away on a Thursday. Got an automated call reminder saying the service was scheduled for the Friday after, called and a worker said I was in fact scheduled for Friday, not a big deal just changed some plans around. Got to the dealership on time, they were quick with getting my truck brought in paperwork signed and got out of their in 10 min. Was told there would be a Text/Call when my truck was done so I waited for that. 5-ish hours passed by and I decided to text and was immediately told the truck was ready and to come pick it up. Went back and got my keys, truck came out cleaned and all was good. Looked at my overview sheet on what all was done and it stated my truck was repaired at 12:30. Pretty frustrating there but I understand when a day gets busy so no hard feelings, everyone was very nice and I was pretty happy with how everything went. read more

Please beware of dealing with these people. It has been a horrible experience from the start. First, they tell me I'm approved for the truck that I wanted to purchase. When I show up to sign paperwork they bring me a different truck. They argued with me about it and kept going in circles. I eventually picked out a truck that I liked that they said they could make work for me. The salesman was completely rude and treating me like an idiot, because I am a woman. It was dark when I picked up the truck. The next day I noticed several paint flaws. I took the truck in and was told that they were aware of the paint flaws, but that I would just have to deal with it. This is a brand new GMC Sierra Z71 - Not a cheap vehicle. I finally talked them into attempting to fix the paint flaws. A few days go by and I can pick up the truck, only to find there are additional scratches on the truck that weren't there before. I sent it back for them to fix again. After getting the truck back with more scratches again, I gave up and just accepted the fact that my brand new truck would have scratches. I was tired of dealing with the attitude from manager Brian. Flash forward to the past few days. I took the truck in for a recall, oil change, and tire rotation. I pick up the truck only to find horrible scratches all along the body that could have only possibly come from their carwash. I spoke with Kato and he agreed that's what it was from. The next day I get a call from manager Eric telling me that they would charge me for the wear and tear fix and that it was not their carwash. This truck did not have these scratches on it prior to me taking the truck in for routine service. They finally agreed to buff it out, but stated they will no longer wash my truck for me. Eric had an attitude with me. When I pick up the truck Kato reviews with me that they will not wash my truck since their carwash scratched it. So, he agreed that it was the carwash. When I pressed the issue he said he doesn't believe it was the carwash, but that it is my perception that it was the carwash. Then why say you won't wash my truck since it scratches it?? In retrospect, I never should have bought a truck from these rude people to begin with. But from now on I will never bring my vehicle back here for service. read more

I took my 2016 acadia denali in for a/c service, made appointment for 730, and after numerous texts calls, etc, found out they hadn't even looked at it yet. the next day, late, they called it was done. no communication at all, nice talking people, but ill never recommend them nor will we take our truck back there. I was not happy at all, and communication may have eased it allittle, but there was none.. very,very dis-satisfied customer here, and especially after salesman talked so good about their service dept, NEVER AGAIN !! read more

I am very disappointed to say that I have had nothing but a bad experience since I bought my 2017 truck from this dealership. The buying experience was okay until it came down to getting what I was promised. I was told I would get all weather floor mats and a full tank of gas. Not much to ask for when buying a $45k pickup. When I went out to take it home, there were regular floor mats and a half tank of gas. I had to complain to get floor mats I was promised and then only got mats for the backseat. And was told well you'll have to order those. They did fill up my gas tank after I reminded them. The night I drove my truck home I noticed the climate control buttons weren't lighting up. I called that night and was told I'd have to bring it back in and they'd look at it. A week after I bought the truck, my brakes were acting up and onstar sent me a message they needed serviced. The headliner of my truck was also rattling whenever going down a bumpy road. And my tailgate wouldn't lower without catching and scratching on the side. When I called, Walter said "you'll have to make an appointment with service" And then hung up on me. He didn't help me make an appointment or transfer me to service. For a place that advertises they do 160 pt inspections, I sure had a lot of things go wrong in the first month of ownership. When I did take my vehicle in to service, the first thing I was told was "unfortunately we can't wash your truck because it's too dirty". I live in the country on a dirt road and it wasn't like I had been mudding in it, just driving it like normal. They said the dirt on it would clog their drain and I would have to take it to get it powerwashed first. Then I had to wait an hour for them to get me a vehicle to drive home while they had my truck for a few days (this should have been ready and planned as I had made my appointment 5 days prior). Basically the feeling I got was once they sell you a vehicle, they don't want to hear from you again unless it's to buy another vehicle. I shouldn't have had issues in the first month of owning this vehicle in the first place, and then got such poor service. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from them in the future. read more

initially salesman was nice and very attentive at first. very personable and polite. negotiation on pricing was non existant. i felt pushed aside when a more promising customer arrived. go somewhere else, there are way better dealerships out there who will not make you feel as they did me, i recommmend a non commission dealership and/or smaller dealerships. do a lot of research on the vehicle you want and you will see scholfield across the board on used vehicles are often overpriced compared to other dealerships. read more
