I've been to several chiropractors in Austin and the others didn't really show any enthusiasm or care towards me during my visits. Back pain be gone! And by the way, my Allergies are gone too!!! Last fall I sought out Dr. Hausmann for a terribly painful shoulder and upper back. It was my first time for chiropractic care. He was very thorough in his analysis and diagnosis. His treatment plan was equally top-notch. As the treatments have continued my pain resolved and I am feeling great! Weird thing is that in the midst of one of the worst allergy seasons on record, I've had no problems this year! I'm a native Texan and my allergies are a regular spring visitor... until now. The only thing that's different this year is that I'm seeing Dr. Hausmann for regular care. No allergy meds... NONE! I second everything on this page about Hausman Chiropractic. I've been in there twice a week for the past couple months, and every visit has been great. It is extremely easy to schedule appointments, even last minute, and visits are always quick and efficient. They take all the hassle out of filing insurance, and even bill in a way that I am able to have a massage and an adjustment in the same appointment for one single copay (the in-house massage therapists are fantastic!). Everyone who works in the office is super friendly, but most importantly Dr. Rob is great. He really listens, takes as much time as is necessary to explain what he's doing and answer your questions, and I always feel better after his adjustments. Highly recommend! read more

Rob Hausman is an excellent, caring doctor. I've been going for a little over a year now and am convinced that it makes a difference in my life. That's a big change for someone who was skeptical of chiropractors in general! He will work with your insurance and come up with a plan that's fair for you both; he's not after all your money! You also don't have to wait forever when you go in for a treatment. His staff is friendly and treats you well and promptly. The fact that he uses his time efficiently however doesn't negatively impact your time with him. He is interested in hearing how you are and what he can do to make you better. He actually did research to help me out with an issue that was bothering me after running and the adjustments helped enormously. He will also make himself available if you have an emergency when the office is closed. After moving some heavy furniture down twisty stairs recently, I awoke with intense neck pain on a Saturday morning, a day his office is closed. I called and asked for advice and he suggested I come in to the office right away. His expertise minimized the pain and restored movement quickly. I love this man. I yelped him about 1.5 mo. ago. There were no bad reviews and he took my insurance (bonus). I made my appt (after a long overdue 7+ yrs). I've been in serious pain for a long time. Background: marathoner/half marathoner/tri-athlete. Hiker to the EXTREME. Had 10 lb baby 7/2014. I've put my body in extreme conditions in the past year to say the least...capisce?! I can tell you I've had a knot in my shoulder for the last two years that made me cry it hurt so bad....and I don't cry. I hadn't slept in months...seriously. Dr. Hausman has made me feel so much better I cannot believe the difference. I wouldn't have believed it myself! I look forward to my chiropractor visits. He makes me feel better and he's funny so he makes the visits even "funner"...is that a word?? I will see my chiropractor over a massage therapist any day. This is coming from a girl that had a massage EVERY weekend after the long training runs for marathon training...12mi, 18 mi, 22 mi weekend runs. Go visit Dr. Hausman. I could not recommend him more. Dr Rob is amazing: fast without being rushed, thorough and personable. Everyone I have met here genuinely enjoys interacting with patients and is extremely pleasant. I am very physically active and have a busy schedule. Katie at the front desk immediately responds to my requests for appointments, which are often same day. I can't say enough positive things about this practice. Patient satisfaction is clearly a priority. Dr. Rob is a miracle work. I have been seeing Robbie for about 3 months and started after I got into a car accident. They made it super super easy to fill a claim with my auto insurance and they really took care of me. He takes really good care of his patients and remembers your specific needs when you come in. My little family of three have been patients of Dr. Rob for over 6 months now. He has helped my husband with his back pain that is caused by a herniated disc. Helped me with my neck and lower back pain that comes from toting around a toddler all day. However, the things he has done for my 2 year old daughter are simply amazing! She was diagnosed with a mild case of Torticollis when she was an infant. We had a Chiropractor working on her before we moved to the city of Austin so when we got here we immediately started searching for a new one. Dr. Rob came highly recommended by a friend that grew up here and knows everything there is to know about Austin. By the time we started seeing Dr. Rob our little girl's Torticollis had cleared up for the most part (well at least she was holding her head up almost completely straight) however the muscles on one side of her neck were still very underdeveloped. She also started having issues with her speech and screaming when we would try to clean her ears. We took her to an ENT specialist and they attempted to do a hearing test on her, which she refused to let them do. They also checked her ears and after a big fight from one terrified little girl they told us that she has some fluid on her ears but because she did not have a history of infection they were going to wait 6 weeks and check her again before scheduling any kind of surgery to install tubes because it could be a cold, which she did not have any symptoms of. I told Dr. Rob what was happening and he contacted a friend of his that specializes in Pediatric Chiropractor and together they came up with a plan for our little girl. The changes were almost immediate. She started to pick up on new words, let us clean her ears with q-tips without so much as a whimper, and just seemed happier in general. After 6 weeks we took her back for a follow up visit with the ENT Specialist. She let them do the hearing test, which came back perfect, and the fluid was gone! I should also mention that the muscle development on the one side of her neck is getting close to normal! We couldn't be happier with Dr. Rob and owe him so much more than a 5 star review on Yelp. I hope he knows just how much we appreciate him and his amazing staff. read more

I've been there twice now. The receptionist is very friendly and they remembered me even though I'd only been there once before, that was nice. Dr. Hausman remembered me as well. However, the chiropractic services were just 'meh'. They weren't bad, they aligned my back and I felt a little better. But it's definitely not the best chiropractor I've ever seen. With my insurance it only costs $12, so you get what you pay for. read more

I am so happy to have found Dr. Hausman! I have been suffering from low back pain for about a year now. I usually attributed it to work and it would resolve with stretching, yoga and massage. This time it hit out of no where while I was on vacation, a week before my new nursing job started. Dr. Hausman was able to get me in the same day and I left feeling like a new person!
