I really REALLY love Doran. I found her through groupon and was kinda wary bc it was such a great deal. After the first facial I knew I had nothing to worry about and began raving to my friends. Doran is very knowledgeable, as expected, but talks to you about your skin like you're a real person - not someone who never picks a pimple and uses SPF 10,000 every day. What really impressed me is that she really customizes what she does based on what you need. And not what you 'oily-skinned-person' needs, its this-week-you-need-antibacterial-bc-you're-breaking-out and next week something different. I have never loved an esthy enough to be exclusive, especially when groupon has such good deals... But Doran's facials and customer service are good enough I 'stopped seeing other people.' Nice quiet setting and made an 8 AM appointment which was great way to start the day. First thing Doran said was that she wasn't going to talk during the session. I love that! Relaxed and peaceful. She really concentrated on my skin and her treatment procedures. No hard sell for products either. I will certainly return! I just realized that I posted my review on the wrong page, and I wanted to make sure that the spa got the kudos! So here it is: I have not stayed at the hotel, BUT I did get a Groupon for their spa...the Groupon was for a bodyscrub and lashes (AWESOME combination!!) Now, the place was kind of hard to find, but I called and the girl on the phone helped me find and let my therapist know that I was running behind...the scrub was EXHILARATING! I wish I could get this scrub every day of my life! And my lashes...AMAZING! Doran (the girl who did my lashes) customized them to my eyes, and I am semi-obsessed! PROS: the services were awesome and everyone I encountered was super-nice. CONS: parking was tough and the place could definitely use some signage. read more
