Upon some research, I found Ms Kawaii who offers evening appointments which was very convenient for my schedule. I had my appointment on a Thursday night around 7pm and honestly was not very excited with the final result, which did not look like the photos I had shown my tech, Yuki. I've never been the type of person who had the guts to speak up but I knew that Ms Kawaii has a 5 day warranty so I ultimately decided to send a text about 20 hours after my initial appointment and going back and forth on whether I should to share my experience and feelings on the set I received. I explained I had my event the next day so I thought it might be too late to fix them but that I still hoped for some sort of resolution. Luckily, they did inform me that they would be able to take me that night, which I was initially hesitant for since I was told my first set would look like the picture I showed and they did not so I worried what I wanted might not be able to be executed. For context, I've never been to lash salons that have a menu for you to choose different things, such as material, style, and glue type. In the past, I would just show reference photos and let the tech recreate them. So keep this in mind if you have also never experienced choosing from a menu since they explained to me that the "material" I chose is why my first set turned out the way they did. I came in again about 24 hours after my first appointment and Yuki was there to help me get my lashes fixed to what I wanted. She was incredibly patient and kind the entire time, even in our first meeting, and I am very grateful that both she and Ms Kawaii were able to help me resolve my issues.

Be prepared to wait about 15-30 minutes past your appointment time, as the lash tech (Elaine) is usually finishing up with another client. She was sweet, and the overall vibe was calming. I even fell asleep during sessions thanks to the soft instrumental music. However, the lashes themselves were just okay. At all three appointments, my eyes burned during and after the application, and I had to use a fan every time to relieve the discomfort. The classic sets I got during the first two visits had poor retention. Maybe it's because they're classics. I experienced daily fallout, which was annoying as stray lashes would poke my eyes. The third time, I tried a volume set and they were gone by day 25, which I'm not complaining. The style looked bulky, black, and unnatural, but slowly started looking like classic with fallout (which was also itchy/poking me). I made sure to clean and fan-dry my lashes every other day. Also, keep in mind that switching styles doesn't come with any kind of pricing adjustment. She did check how many weeks had passed since my last visit, so I thought there might be a slight discount but nope. Overall, the lashes are cute, but I wouldn't return. I've since found a new lash tech where retention is better, and I've had no burning from the glue or daily fall out.
