She was very kind, gentle, professional, and quick (only took 50 mins) and I especially love how natural it turned out which is what I requested for. This review is based on my visit on 5/17/23. I just recall that my partial review was left neglected for months... My bad. So I got my lashes done on 5/17, one day before my 45-day Japan trip. I did not purposely take any before-after photos, so it might not be best to show the marvelous job Grace did. I found photos taken on 6/11(Day 26 after the lashes were done), and a comparison of 5/21 and 6/30 (Day 5 vs. Day 46 after). I have to say Grace did a fantastic job on my lash extensions. They survived my entire trip! I was hiking in the mountains, climbing hills. They survived intensive sunlight with my excessive sweating, regular drizzling to rain storms, and hot springs. It saved me from having my makeup all melted from all those conditions cause with the outstanding lashes, I don't need my mascara for sure, moreover, I can skip my eyeliners. And it would not be fun if any of those smeared /smashed on my face when you hardly can find the "sweat-proof" ones. Service-wise, Grace was sweet as usual (been coming to her for years though the South Pasadena location was fairly new). The place was always kept clean. The music was relaxing and I almost fell asleep. It's not only you get your lashes done beautifully but also you would have a "peace moment" to rest. Currently, there are two lash techs: Grace and Yoly. I usually get Grace but Yoly is just as sweet as Grace. Both are professional to the customers. This is the one and only place I get my lashes done, and I believe it will be. read more

Very kind and speedy. I booked Yoly for a new client consultation and we both determined it would be ideal to do a 2D wispy lashes. I have very weak lashes and Yoly made sure to accommodate it. She didn't put lashes on the inner corner of my eyes because I get easily irritated there. She made sure the lashes wouldn't touch my glasses and immediately knew what length would be appropriate. The studio is adorable with house plants, places to put bags/hats and have candies for the clients. Also she is so gentle/light handed while putting the lashes on. What a dream. This was like I paid for a meditation session with a side of lashes. The space is peaceful and the beds are comfortable, they even have cozy blankets The staff is kind. Spa music whisks you away for a nice nap. There are no strong glue smells and people yelling (what I was used to from nail salons I went to for lashes in the past). Grace is great! I've been doing lashes from 2015 and am pretty picky about it because my lashes are so thin and short. My previous lash girl who I stuck with for years moved to Korea and I was skeptical that anyone could do lashes as well as her, but Grace is even better. I don't even need to check the mirror to check if she's done a good job because she is consistently good everytime. She's fast and generous with how many lashes she puts on.
