Great service: the man, I think he's the owner, and a young girl, they were both so nice. We ordered beef empanadas, the pork kan kan, and the carne guisada. Everything came out to be $65. Expensive but it was also so delicious, that when we received the food, we just ate it. LOL didn't bother to take photos. Next time! We tried to go back on Sunday, but they were closed.

I found this place on yelp when I was looking for Cuban food in PCB. This place stood out to me because it's rated considerably higher than most other restaurants around here! My husband got the trifongo and I got the roast lechon, Congri, and Maduros. We loved every bite. This is officially on the list for places to eat when we vacation here.

Boricuba Cafe wasn't as enjoyable as we had hoped unfortunately. Staff was very friendly, music was good but waitress forgetful on two things we ordered and this broke our meal timing up which annoys me every time. For example who wants to eat their hot off the grill Cuban Sandwich with out the Fries they also ordered. After reminding our waitress, the fries took 10 minutes to cook and by that time my sandwich was half gone. Cuban sandwich was also lacking the island flavor I am used to. The fried pork ribs and rice were good but the rice was a little dry. My wives coconut flan was too thick for me but my wife said it was very good. We won't be back which is a shame we were excited to come here after reading the reviews.

What a wonderful place! I googled coffee shop and then this came up. Walked in and got super confused because it's a cafe/diner. The lady patiently waited for us to figure out what we wanted to do so we decided to just sit and order coffee. She left us the menu and we saw pastries and well ..... This was a happy accident. They have fantastic coffee. Cafe con leche and cortadito, strong and sweet. We got flan, cheesy puff balls which I don't know what the actual name is and a guava pastry. Everything was really great. Thanks Google. Even though you really screwed up, we will give you a pass. This place is a gem.

Wonderful Cuban restaurant with quality ingredients and exceptional taste. We searched all over PCB looking for a good Cuban Sandwich and happed upon Boricuba Cafe. Excellent find. Their bread, meats, sauce was automatic and tasty. Their menu was filled with options for various tastes and desires. Service was great and the restaurant was spotless. Decor was nice and artwork on walls highlighted Cuba. Also - consider trying one of their 6 juices. Highly recommend.

Picture this: 2 middle aged women drove all night (8 hours), already tired, waiting on their room to be ready - go to the beach... then... hunger strikes. Start perusing google for recommendations for Puerto Rican or Hispanic food. We find Boricuba and am I glad we did! I'm a true geek when it comes to a Cuban sandwich. I love a great Cuban, and I can only count on one hand having a great Cuban. Well, this place... definitely a decent Cuban sandwich. The plantains were spot on, and the crème cilantro sauce - is a must have - and I'm not a cilantro fan, AT ALL. We arrived as the doors opened (11am) and by the time we had our food (20-25min) the entire restaurant was full. This place will fill up fast - but SO worth the wait! If you want authentic Cuban/Puerto Rican food - this is your place! Cheers!

Well I'm here to publicly apologize to my ancestors, my abuela, and the entire city of Miami. Because Havana Night Restaurant came out SWINGING. First off, the place looks GOOD. Not we tried good I mean this place has vibes. Lights, music, energy like if Calle Ocho took a vacation and decided to behave slightly better. And on weekends? Live music. The kind that makes you want to clap, dance, and suddenly believe you have rhythm you don't but it doesn't matter. Now let's talk about Magda. Listen service was so good I thought she was being extra nice because I looked hungry. Turns out she's one of the owners. That explains EVERYTHING by the way she even offered me a discount because of my birthday being the same as her mother's She treated us like family like the good kind of family, not the one that argues over dominoes. I went in with a group of five, and I ordered the churrasco with congrí, yuca, mayo ketchup, and tostones. Basically, I ordered like I hadn't eaten since 2003. And when that plate hit the table I knew I was in trouble. The steak? You could cut it with a fork. Not kinda soft I mean I looked at it aggressively and it almost fell apart. Flavor? PERFECT. Not tourist Cuban food I'm talking abuela standing over the stove judging your life choices level flavor. The congrí had that little drizzle of olive oil on top... and I almost stood up and gave a speech. Who told them they could cook like this in Panama City?! Who gave them permission?! Everyone at the table ordered something different, and not one plate disappointed. That's rare. Usually, in a group, there's always one person quietly suffering like, yeah mine's okay. Not here. Everyone was smiling like we just got paid. And here's the craziest part... you know that Cuban food coma? That "I need to unbutton my pants and rethink my life" feeling? NONEXISTENT. I ate like a champion. I expected to roll out of there like a croqueta but nope. I felt full, happy, and somehow still functional. Witchcraft. By the end of the meal, I was sitting there like a satisfied roly-poly, questioning everything I thought I knew about Cuban food outside of Miami. Bottom line if you're anywhere near Panama City and you don't go here, you're making bad life decisions. Period. I'll be back next week... or the week after or whenever my stomach starts calling Magda by name again.

Unfortunately, the experience was a huge disappointment from start to finish. Even though they weren't that busy, the wait was unusually long. The service felt disorganized and indifferent, and customer service was frankly terrible. Our order wasn't made correctly, and when we asked about it, it turned into an ordeal that caused an even longer delay. The food itself was bland and far from the rich, flavorful Cuban food I grew up on. The croquettes were clearly frozen and had zero taste, and even the lemonade was watery and flavorless. Nothing had the seasoning or soul that Cuban food is known for. On top of that, the truck's menu is misleading--they don't even use the one printed on the truck. Instead, there's a random paper menu taped to the window. And don't dare pay with cash unless you want to stand there for 10 minutes while they figure out how to give you change. The worst part? The owner seemed miserable and completely disengaged, like they had no passion for the food or the business. That lack of care shows in every part of the experience. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. There are much better Cuban food options out there--this is not it.

After roaming into a number of fun shops, we realized we were feeling up to a snack and drinks, and we happened across LaCo. The service and the food and drinks were good, and there was a nice ambiance to the place, too. The four of us immediately were seated at a bar during happy hour in the early afternoon when there were only a few people there. In fact, other than two people just leaving when we arrived, we were the only ones at the bar until just before we left. We arrived on a weekday afternoon just as happy hour was starting. Happy Hour prices included $2 off select wines and their house margarita, $1 off bottled beer, and discounted priced appetizers. My wife and I shared an order of Salsa Roja which included charred tomato salsa served with house friend chips. One of our friends ordered some blackened chicken wings, and both of our friends ordered drinks. Everyone was happy with what we ordered. LaCo stands for Latin Coastal as it is considered "30A's Latin coastal kitchen" with Latin-inspired lunch and dinner dishes with a coastal twist. The restaurant is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach in Seacrest Beach. They operate on "beach time" and do not take reservations. Their published hours are daily from 11 AM to 9 PM with limited yet special priced happy hour menu from 3-5 PM and a full menu during the other times of the day. You can see their menu, photos, and more information about their restaurant as well as order online and sign up for news and updates at https://laco30a.com. While we do not head to 30A that often, if we head back to Seacrest Beach, we'll certainly consider another visit to LaCo, perhaps when the full menu is available. We recommend this restaurant to others wanting a unique taste and a filling snack or meal!
