Arepa is a type of food made of ground maize dough, originating from the northern region of South America in pre-Columbian times, and is notable in the cuisines of Colombia and Venezuela Yum! I had never had an arepa and I loved the one I got here! Lots of choices of protein, toppings and sauces. Big portion! Friendly service. I will definitely come back!

I had the Nachos, so good! There are different sauces creating an amazing flavor profile that hits the flavor taste sweet salty spicy. And the portion is enough to feed a lumberjack.

I was looking for something different than my usual. Their menu offerings looked great so I ordered online and just picked up my meal. SO DISAPPOINTED! Menu clearly pictures 6 barbacoa tacos for $15.00 I only received 3 tacos for that 15. Oh and the churro dessert for $4? 1 churro. No sauce like advertised. DO NOT RECOMMEND TOTAL RIP OFF

Got two Arepas, one shredded beef and one chicken. Both came with a choice of three cheeses, three toppings, and a sauce. On both we got queso fresco, tomatoes, onions, black beans, and the house (garlic) sauce. The arepas themselves were absolute on point and five stars. The fries were good but cold when served to us. The server at the counter was not very friendly and did not even give me an opportunity to get a receipt, which I don't like, as you always wonder if the total charged was accurate. I checked my credit card and it was, thankfully. So I give four stars for my visit. Would have given five if the service was a little friendlier and helpful. Maybe she was having a bad day. I liked the atmosphere and the music playing and encouraging messages on the wall. Also, they have Colombian coffee and juices, which you can only get there, that I would love to try in the future.

Fuego has become a Thursday tradition. The arepas are always great and you can substitute yuca fries for an up charge, def worth it! Perfect portion size and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. The Nutella flan is to die for, grab some to snack on later.

What a blessing that turned out to be We were hosting a pre-wedding social for a large group of family and friends at a Rosemary Beach vacation home . They were able to set up the food truck/trailer in front of the garage with easy access for guests to order from the menu and get served fresh hot food. It was a perfect set-up. The whole experience was amazing beyond description, but let's start with the food - absolutely delicious. The variety of flavorful empanada choices will satisfy everyone, from adults to kids, from meat-lovers to vegetarians. The beans and rice as a side fits the bill, as does the optional cheese fries. They also serve funnel fries for dessert, which taste just like the funnel cake at your favorite festival. Last for our party, they tested a new offering - apple pie fritters, which were a huge hit amongst everyone - to the point where they graciously kept the kitchen open to make enough for everyone. Thanks to Josh and Frank of Empanadas Kings, everyone was well fed and happy, and the guests universally praised the effort long after they packed up for home. All in all, we could not have been more happy with the experience, the service, the food, and the value. We will do it again.

The Cuban sandwich was just phenomenally delicious. The pernil was well received by everyone too. The ropa vieja was great too. To be fair, there were no losing meals at that table. We could have all switched plates and enjoyed something delicious. This food is well flavored, but not spicy. That's not a flaw. That's just how the food is.

I visited this restaurant around 1:00 PM, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing…read more When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only two tables being served. Despite having two employees standing at the front talking behind the register, the restroom had no toilet paper. When we placed our order, we were told they were out of yucca balls and that they also had no beer available. We ordered a tripleta, beef patties, and juice instead. What was most frustrating was that the customer who ordered immediately after us was able to order and receive yucca balls. We asked about the discrepancy, and the explanation we were given was that she had ordered them earlier. However, we clearly heard her place the order while standing there. A simple, honest response--such as acknowledging that there had been a misunderstanding and apologizing for serving the last order to another customer--would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction left us feeling singled out and, honestly, racially profiled because the other customer was Hispanic. Ironically, we are Hispanic as well, which made the situation even more disappointing. To top it off, the "tripleta" sandwich was not an authentic tripleta. If the chef wants to call it a traditional tripleta, it should follow the classic preparation and the meats that make a tripleta what it is. Otherwise, it would be better to rename the sandwich rather than market it as a traditional tripleta. Anyone from Puerto Rico--or anyone who has enjoyed authentic tripletas at Puerto Rican restaurants--will immediately notice the difference and likely be disappointed. The sandwich would also benefit greatly from properly seasoning both the pork and the steak. Adding the traditional mayo-ketchup sauce would go a long way toward delivering the authentic flavor people expect from a tripleta. The beef empanadas made the one star in this review since they were decently stuffed. Just need to work better on the wrapping. I posted a pic. But at least they were made and not bought frozen. I understand that mistakes happen, but honesty, consistency, authenticity, and good customer service are what determine whether customers return. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.
