[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute - very Brooklyn-esque spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We opted for outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their plates and glasses were all very unique and cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was pretty decent. We got the sprinkled octopus which was pretty good. It was cooked and seasoned nicely. For my main I got the mafalde with lamb ragu. I did really enjoy this dish, the pasta was cooked nicely and the lamb ragu was not too gamey but had good flavor. The portions were not super generous but expected of Brooklyn restaurants. For drinks I got the Negroni sbagliato - maybe I just didn't order to my taste but didn't love this drink. It quite bitter and didn't really work for me. Decent place but the prices are quite high for the quality and quantity of food.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance felt upscale because the decor was beautiful. There were fresh flowers and the bar was very pretty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They specialize in natural wines so the waiter gave us a wine wheel tool to help us select one. I went with a larger group and we had the private room, which has a requirement of each person spending $65 but the room itself does not have a reservation fee. The food took a while to get to us, potentially because of group size, and when it did, the portions were smaller than expected. Because I had an appetizer I was full. Overall, the pasta I got was delicious and I would come by again now that I have realistic expectations.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Have & Meyer in one of their private rooms. We had such a lovely evening!! The food was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The table decor was stunning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And all of our friends came up to us after dinner to mention how kind all the staff was. We just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I celebrated my birthday at Have & Meyer in their private room, and it couldn't have been more perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Shoutout to Wendy who handled the décor and made the table look stunning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From start to finish the whole team was so warm, accommodating, and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food and wine were delicious, and the intimate atmosphere made the night feel extra special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They truly took care of everything and made it such a relaxing yet fun experience.

went here for a birthday and [[HIGHLIGHT]]thought the decor and vibe was really cute!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] tbh loved the apps - prosciutto, octopus, pastas were good but nothing spectacular imo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's a nice place to host a large party as you can get drinks and byo cake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Romantic and vibrant Italian dinner spot! The candlelight, wood features, and Polaroid pictures make for such a cozy vibe. There is ample outdoor and indoor seating, including a bar. There is also a big secluded room for parties. The staff was swift, friendly, and had great recommendations. We started with some orange wine. There was such an overwhelming wine list, something for everyone . We got the salad and burrata with prosciutto as appetizers. The salad was fresh and flavorful with green apple and beets. The burrata and prosciutto were such high quality, worth the price! The bread that comes with it is rustic and authentic. For mains we all got pasta dishes. They were all obviously fresh pasta cooked to perfect al dente. They were all delicious, would go for the carbonara if we had to pick just one. Worth the price in our opinions as this is an expensive bowl of pasta. The portion did not disappoint either. Save room for the tiramisu!!! It was some of the best have ever had and my brother lived in Italy for a while. Was perfectly sweet and bitter with espresso. Not too soggy. Perfection Can't wait to come back here

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance at have & Meyer. It's like walking into a bistro meets a garden meets your grandmother who's a hoarder living room. All in a very good way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of little klitche designs, wine and liqour bottles all over ( and they serve a purpose you pick a bottle off the wall).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is excellent they know their wines and mixed drinks. They'll let you try so you can find what you want. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very cozy place w a heated and covered outside patio too[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Tried a nice Italian full bodied red as well as nice minerallly white . Has olives w roasted tomatoes as well as honey apples and blackbert Camembert cheese. Highly recommend this place if your in Brooklyn

We asked that they include the croquettes among the tapas and we chose the squid ink paella. The croquettes, pork, brussel sprouts, and potato were all perfect and exceptional. The tees leches cake was perfectly moist and not overly sweet as well. I wish there was a little more seafood in the paella l, but the taste was still amazing. The bruschetta and asparagus were delicious, but left something to be desired compared to the other dishes. I was greeted greatly, even with only a few minutes before last call for dinner service. The server and the bartender was reallt friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Gave me really great options. For food I had the Spanish Olives, Pop a La Pedra, & the Croquetes Del Dia(made fresh every day and changes as well). I had a old fashion to drink, needed something that will warm me up for the cold weather. The ambiance was cute, and chic. You can tell that the workers run it like a little food family and I love that the most about El Born. Will definitely come again ans try out their brunch , heard it was amazing.

There is local artwork on the wall (for sale if that is your goal), there are dozens of seats between couches, tables and even an old wooden desk from the 1930's. There's also a great outdoor patio with some covered tables and chairs. Effortless cool, this is it. Coffee: 5/5. We had the espresso and cortado. Both were rich and dark, and came in a nice porcelain cup. We appreciate the small touches, because coffee in paper cups is just not as tasty. Ambiance: 5/5. The decor is perfect for creative types looking for remote work locations. Plush couches, small high top tables with bankers lights, and a few long coffee tables makes this place ideal for work or socializing. The noise level on a Sunday afternoon was muted, but it might be louder during weekdays. Value: 5/5. The prices are well below market value for Greenpoint, about $1-$2 less than other coffee bars. And they have so many mocktails under $10! Wow it's like 2018 in here!

Cozy couches, nice indoor tables, comfortable outdoor tables too. The coffee was rich and smooth. Not sure who their roaster is, but my latter was a nice full bodied blend. It really hit the spot. My wife likes her lattes with some spice and not every place can meet that request. Red Rover had cayenne which they sprinkled on her latte and for her it was just the right mix. Not too spicy but not wimpy either. Red Ricer is worth a visit if you want great coffee served with a warm coffee house vibe.

Overall, the a la carte menu is pretty small, so definitely check it out before you commit to eating here. Pineapple pork fried rice - Aside from the hollowed out pineapple that it came in, the presentation was a little weak (mostly rice, and very small pieces of toppings). The rice lacked color, which ultimately, did make the dish lean on the bland side. I did not think it had enough wok hei (flavor and aroma that comes from being cooked on a wok).
