Got takeout, food was delicious AGAIN. They are so consistent I just know I'm never going to get a bad meal

Let's be real for a second here. The Mount Washington Valley is probably one of the last places you'd expect to find good Indian food, but Haveli blows that assumption out of the water. We've been coming here each year now while on our annual vacation in the Valley since they opened. This time we stopped in for lunch as soon as we arrived to the area. The menu has all the classics plus a few interesting specialty and fusion dishes. Mango lassi is delicious and refreshing. Boyfriend likes to get the boozy drinks, this time going with the spiked chai. For food we got onion bhaji, chili paneer, chili garlic naan, paneer butter masala and saag paneer. Per usual, the food was very tasty. We always make sure to request our dishes to be spicy at every Indian establishment we go to, and here they do deliver on that. The butter masala was very rich and smooth in addition to being around our preferred heat level. The saag was delicious as well, chock full of greens with an earthy flavor while also at our favorite spice level. Onion bhaji was crispy. Naan was tasty though I wish there was a little bit more of it. However the chili paneer was a massive portion. Haveli is overall a good choice in the Valley. read more

My husband and I love Indian food. We're glad we found this place via web search. We went for an early dinner on a Sunday. It wasn't busy since it was off hours. We were greeted by a polite gentleman and was told we can sit anywhere we want. He proceeded to give us menus. He gave us ample time to make our selection. We chose pani puri for appetizer then my husband opted for their masala dosa while I ordered the chicken korma. I love that they have two options for meal sizes, the 8 oz and 16 oz. I only had the 8 oz and I still had some leftovers. The pani puri was tasty though a bit different from the ones we've previously had. I had a bite of the masala dosa too and that was also delicious. The portions were not humongous which was appreciated. Prices were reasonable. In fact, the prices are favorable. There are plenty of dining space, the place is clean and staff is friendly. Food is good value for sure so I am positive we'll end up being regulars. If you love Indian food, I suggest you give Haveli a try! read more

Ordered chicken lollipop, aloo gobi and kadai chicken. The aloo were cooked partial, can't eat. Chicken lollipop was just fried legs with chat masala, not cut shaped like lollipop, not made with the right spices as per receipt. The chicken in kadai chicken was over cooked, it was stringy and having shedding threads. Worst Indian food. read more

Food was ok; most dishes were served cold. It was not a busy night but service was awful. All the main dishes were served first, then appetizers came. Drinks and water were not served until multiple reminders; came after we started eating the food. Alcohol beverage was served last when I was almost done with the food. One of the dishes was so salty, we asked for hot water to dilute, but they took forever to bring out a lukewarm water. Ordered chocolate cake for desert. It was dry. Food pictures online are impressive but it is deceiving for what's actually served. Not recommend this place. read more

The restaurant has interesting and unique India decor. We ordered the "street food" butter chicken pasta dish and the chili garlic noodles with chicken dish and the garlic naan. We chose a spicy level of 1 out of 5 and it had a good amount of heat and more than expected. Both dishes were delicious and we had a lot left over to bring home. Very bland Indian food. Yes it's NH and everything is bland, but I expected better. Tandoori chicken should have some flavor!

Haveli in Conway was really good! A basic thing like maggi also had so many veggies, it made me happy :) the chole bhature were good - the bhatura was a bit soggy since they waited to bring all the food at once, for that our waiter was confused when we told him to bring things as those were ready but he had communication barriers. There are hardly any other Indian restaurants in the area, let alone good ones - if you're craving Indian food - I'd recommend you to try it. Not sure why this restaurant has 4.3 stars. I ordered through DoorDash and omg the food is pathetic! There is no yogurt in raita it's literally water, paneer tikka is a joke! It's just 4 pieces of stale paneer coated in some orange color thrown in with some stale veggies, not even marinated or cooked. It came cold. Naan was ok! It's so expensive and food quantity is a joke! We are visiting and made a mistake to order from here seeing 4.3 stars. If you don't want to waste your money, don't order! read more

The restaurant opened earlier this year, and this was our first visit. It was a good one, very enjoyable, and we'd probably give them five stars if we had more than one meal to judge by. It's a surprisingly large restaurant with two seating areas and a bar, and all of it appeared spotlessly clean and fresh. We liked the lighting and the cloth-colored hanging lights (see one of our photos). But it's the food that matters most, of course. And Haveli did us right with one small exception: we love mulligatawny soup, and they did not have it on the menu. But what they did have was pleasing. For starters, the pakora (veggie fritters, $7.99) was delightful and was accompanied by terrific mint chutney. The Chicken Biryani ($15.95) was delicious, and our favorite, Chicken Curry ($15.99) was curried to perfection, medium spicy and oh-so flavorful. We should have ordered the 8oz serving and not the 16oz; we couldn't finish the large serving. Overall, a splendid dining experience. Wish we lived nearer; we'd certainly go back often. read more

We went here tonight and were very disappointed in the food. Our food arrived cold we sent it back to have it reheated- and to our surprise it was still the Same temperature as before. We ordered malai kofta and Shahi paneer- both gravy were the same. as an Indian this restaurant did not do justice to our authentic flavors. The food was great and the portions were just right! Service was good, as well as the location with plenty of parking available in the evening that we visited. The one drawback was the seating - if you are seated along the windows with the cart-like seating, it may be a bit uncomfortable. read more

Haveli Indian Cuisine had a soft opening in January 2024, which is located in the Garg Plaza in the former Taste of Thai (moved up the road several years ago). Their grand opening was held on February 10th, which had a ribbon cutting and a $20 lunch buffet with 6 items, enough for a thali. The place offers ample table seating and seating at the bar. The place has nice painted murals on the walls, overhanging colorful cloth umbrella lighting, faux candles, and colorful cloths under the glass tables. The food menu offers a variety of traditional Indian dishes including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, plus biryanis, street foods, breads, kids menu, desserts, and lassis. Cocktails are offered from the bar. I stopped by Haveli for dinner recently, The place was not busy (I was the only customer at 4pm) and I could sit at any table. The server brought over cold water and the menu to look at. I quickly decided my choices. For a starter, the Samosas (2 for $5.99 plus tax) which were filled well with a dense mix of peas, chickpeas, curry & spices in flaky fried pastry shells, hot and sweet sauces provided. The Garlic Naan ($3.99 plus tax) was soft, buttery and garlicky, but the underside of the naan was charred like a New Haven pizza crust. For dinner, the Butter Chicken Pasta ($14.99 plus tax) was served very hot with a side of basmati rice. There was plenty of boneless chicken pieces and very soft cooked penne pasta in a tasty rich sauce. For dessert, the Ras Malai ($5 plus tax) was a good chilled dessert, which had chhena (cheese) balls with cardamon in a sweet cream mixture. The bill was presented electronically through a portable Square electronic payment reader, which was $32.52 with tax and before tip. Overall, the meal here was pretty good in a nicely decorated dining room. The service was extremely attentive as my server kept returning to my table to ask how things were and watched me eat from the bar area. When I was done, I was still the only customer. I cannot give this place enough stars. The food here is so freaking good. I had been craving a good curry dish for the last few years and had tried several different restaurants in North Conway, but none had satisfied my craving. A couple months ago a friend suggested Haveli. They were hidden away in a building of businesses that I had not paid much attention to in my many drives in and out of town. It only took one visit for this place to jump to the top of my preferred list. I have been several times and the food is consistently delicious. I order two to three dishes everytime I go, and make sure to try something new every time. I love the Masala Dosa, as it's gluten free Anne vegan and I am also a huge fan of lentils. Their Lollipop Chicken appetizer is so good. Garlic Naan? A++. Butter Chicken? A+. Curry Chicken? A+. Please take the time to eat here when looking for something other than burgers, pizza and subs. It is also worth the trip if living outside of town. I've also noticed online ordering is available but it doesn't look like the full menu is available for that, although I'm sure calling for take out would get the full menu. Tried Haveli for the first time this Sunday eve. My wife and I ordered chicken curry and chicken korma -two Indian classics. Both were quite good. We ordered medium spice and they were pretty spicy, so if you don't like heat, go with mild. Also tried their garlic naan which was good as well. The place was a little quiet but it was only 5:30 and the place picked up a bit within the hour. Service was prompt and pleasant. If you haven't been here yet -it's worth a visit. Prices are very reasonable and portions very fair. Conway needs more good ethnic varieties... thumbs up for this one!!! read more

Left hungry! Went in and had to wait for them to set up a table for 5, not a big deal. Sat down and water was on the table which was nice. Waited 10 minutes and finally someone from our party found waiter and told him we were ready to order (only 5 people in restaurant at the time). He came over several minutes later and we asked how long would the food take and told him what we were going to order and he said 20 minutes, we told him we were on a time schedule and had to leave. Had he taken order right away we could have waited but having to wait 15 minutes just to come over (for the first time) to take order is ridiculous when there is only 2 parties (table of 2 ppl and table of 3 ppl) in the entire restaurant! We stopped in on New Year's Day and were pleasantly and swiftly enamored with the service, food, and ambiance. We love Indian food and all felt this was the best we have tasted in some time. Our 9-year old (who barely eats) devoured his samosa, naan pizza, and mango lassi. It was lovely to be able to choose smaller portions and leave with no leftovers whilst traveling. So pleased to have a Indian restaurant in North Conway! We went for the lunch buffet and we were bith very pleased with the taste of all the dishes presented. Chicken Tiki and Butter Chicken were each delicious and a spiced lovely for all tastes. I like my Indian flavors to be spicy but the level that was presented tasted perfect for general taste buds. There were at least 5 other offerings and I loved them all. Also a dessert was served which I was too full to try but my sister loved it. I have forgotten what the name is but it was quite tasty by her. I never leave reviews, but I put a reminder in my phone to leave a review after we left. This place was amazing. The food was high quality (as an Indian person who has had several versions of Indian cuisine) and the service was immaculate. Our server, Abby, was so sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond for us. We had several plates of food for 4 people, including the Pani Puri which was a delightful appetizer, because it didn't leave us too full for our main courses. I got the Dal Fry, some garlic naan, and my parents got a few other things that they loved. I have to highlight that the Gulab Jamun was so warm and delicious. If you like sweets but only a little, it's the perfect end to your meal (one order is two fried dough balls soaked in syrup) but I wanted to order 10 more Please give this place your business!
