It was nice having Asian cuisine in this part of resort community! During our one week vacation in town, we dined here a couple of times. We had drunken noodle, stir-fried mix veggies with seafood, wonton soup and sticky rice mango. All were tasty. I specially liked the wonton soup. The warm broth was satisfying in cold weather. First time trying this place. The food was spot on, thai green curry with veggies and tofu was so delicious. Spring rolls was so fresh, did a to go and ate them. You can see in one of the pic where I have put the quantity me and mom completed it was that good.If you travel to NH and visit North Conway this place is a must try. My husband ordered a thai fried rice with shrimp as a add on he loved it ,the flavor and the rice cooked to perfection.10/10. Make sure if you are doing a to go to order a ahead. Because we went there at 7 and the person said it takes about an hour we took a stroll around and got back at 8.00 the food was ready at 8:15pm. read more

Every thing was mediocre. We had a late lunch and was glad they have a lunch special which comes with a spring roll. I ordered the tofu green curry. I have nothing much to say about it. It was OK. My hubby has the chicken and basil. There was only one or two pieces for basil and the rest was onions and peppers. Lol. Taste was OK as I had a try also. Hubby was disappointed as it is very watery not a dry sautéed. When I walked in, there was no one in the restaurant. I only find a man over the counter. He's very courteous which one star goes to him. And one star each for the food. I can be just biases because we had so much better Thai food back home. There's 2 other Thai restaurants on the street so I would try the others. read more

Tiny hole in the wall place with seating for about 10-12 ppl and maybe 3 at the bar counter. Ordered drunken noodle with chicken and red curry with fried tofu. The food was not great. The drunken noodle was bit bland and lacking the heat/spice. The red curry was heavily watered down and came with a tiny bowl of rice. Had to order rice separately as the rice included with the curry was hardly adequate for 1 person. read more

Grabbed lunch around 3 pm with a pretty large party. They only do takeout here and the food came out within 20ish minutes. I ordered the drunken noodles and a basil roll -- both were pretty standard, but the veggies and beef in the drunken noodles were pretty tough and hard to chew. Also the food is pretty pricey for the amount you get. It's not a bad place if you are really, really craving Thai food, however, it's nothing special. read more

Went here after Saco River and it was very disappointing. The Pad Thai is white. There is no sauce, overcooked pork. Confused as to why people are comparing this to "real Thai food." The woman who answered the phone was very nice and our orders were complete and our modifications were followed. read more

The first thing I want to mention is that their service is amazing. It seems like a fun family owned business and they were so friendly and accommodating! The ambiance is just the same; a small hole in the wall type of business full of authentic people and scenery. The food is what makes it a 4 star restaurant out of 5. Absolutely delicious Thai cuisine that is truly authentic and served with very friendly, efficient service. Bangkok Cafe is, by far, the best Thai food in the North Conway area and the entire Mount Washington Valley ... we've tried the other two in the area and were very disappointed. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I saw a couple bad reviews and I was like... this can't be that bad. The good: drunken noodles were good ans spicy, but not spiced with your typical Thai peppers. Massaman curry was like soup thin but the flavor was amazing. Tom Kha was from what I could tell coconut milk, water, and some lemongrass. Thai fried rice was good and kids loved it. Overall 3/5. Pad see ew was ok overall but noodles were way beyond cooked and mushy. Few tweaks and place could be a lot better. read more

Location & Parking: The restaurant is located on the busy street, finding a parking on weekend can be tough on street, but there are few parking spots behind the restaurant next to the gas station. Food: the food was great Service: there was a wait of 30-40 minutes in all the Thai restaurants in that area, including this one. What made us wait here was the service before we were seated. The restaurant manager is very entertaining, the service was great and the food was at our table pretty quick. read more

Hole in the wall with very tight and limited seating. The guy who waited on me was very scattered and despite repeating my simple order to him three times.. it still got screwed up. He served me someone else's entree with scallops and rice when I ordered a chicken thai noodle. He obsessively kept coming back to ask me if i wanted a water refill when tho my glass was only 1/3 empty. I found the waiter to be rather annoying. My visit was on one of the first really warm days and the a/c wasn't on- not working. It was absolutely stifling and I did not enjoy my meal at all.. with each bite of hot food I felt like I was going to suffocate. At one point - another diner complained and he came by and did something with a remote to turn on a mini split unit on the wall... however, for the next half hour I was in this small space.. I never felt any cooling effect. Lastly, I felt the food was overpriced for what I got. There were only 2 shrimp in my bowl of soup. I really can't recommend this place and have no n intention of stopping there again on my next visit to North Conway. read more

Love this tiny Thai restaurant in North Conway along the main strip. It exudes coziness and intimate conversation. We came in quite late near closing time but our server (I'm guessing the owner) was very sweet and said to come on in. I got one of my favorite dishes of pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp and was pleased, though, like most places I've tried, it could use some spice. I also had rice paper rolls for an appetizer which were so very tasty. We were in and out pretty fast while still being able to enjoy our meal. Definitely will be back! read more

Since discovering this spot we've gotten takeout almost weekly! The Bangkok fried rice, classic Thai chicken, and curry dishes are all go-to choices for us. Really nice appetizers as well! They let you choose the spice level for most dishes, and be warned: their spice levels can get VERY spicy. The food is always consistently delicious and the service is friendly and helpful. I ordered Drunken Noodles and one of their Basil Rolls items for pickup as part of an order for five. The beef for the Drunken Noodles was almost as much gristle as it was edible. I was also surprised to see how few veggies were included and we were missing one of the listed sauces for the Basil Rolls. All that being said there was a generous portion of rice noodles that were cooked to perfection. While not bad overall this meal was nothing to write home about. read more

We are spoiled back home with great Thai restaurants... but we are on vacation and figured we would give this place a shot as it had the better reviews over the local competition. I honestly feel very torn in my review, as it wasn't bad, but it just wasn't that good. We ordered 6 or 7 dishes and found the yellow curry to be our favorite. I don't know how to explain it other that all the dishes were so "runny".... even the lo-mein was more like bland noodles in a broth as opposed to a nice flavorful "sauce" which we are accustomed to. Again, maybe it's just not what we are used to. Despite the competition having worse reviews, I'd actually consider giving them a shot before trying this again. read more

There's nothing on this menu that is bad. The food here is the best Thai in town. Whether it's the Pad Thai or the pad kra pao gai (Thai basil and chicken) you're going to have an excellent meal here. The service is outstanding and no one does it better than John. He's terrific and makes sure you have everything you need! Nestled up in North Conway Village next to IME, stop in for their great lunch specials too. read more

Honestly, we were not impressed with our takeout tonight. We're visiting the North Conway area and decided on some Thai takeout - a shrimp yellow curry, red curry with extra tofu, and crab rangoons. The curries were extremely bland and flavorless. The yellow curry was very watery with a good amount of shrimp, but we couldn't get past the bland taste of the curry. The red curry, while it did have extra tofu, was also very bland. The tofu has no real flavor and instead of cubes they were thin rectangular strips. There was a bit of spice to it but still just pretty blah. The crab rangoons were small but tasty. This meal cost us $40 and we weren't impressed. Unfortunately I don't think we would give them another chance. Sorry Bangkok Café. read more

Staff was incredibly friendly. Food was fantastic. They definitely err on the non-spicy side though, so if you like your food spicy I recommend specifically asking for it. Ordered many appetizers and the massaman curry and was not disappointed. Also the restaurant is right in the village and adorable. The place had nice ambiance, and in non-COVID times seems like it would be a great stop for a bite during a visit to North Conway village. read more

AMAZING. Wasn't expecting to have good food since we were on a bad streak staying at a crummy "resort", but everything was great. Service was very friendly. We got red curry, hot basil, and drunken noodle all with chicken. Best drunken noodle and hot basil ever. I even got a butter mint at the end, and they had cinnamon fireball mints too - these people clearly have great taste since I prayed these would be the flavors before I even tried either. The place inside is a little run down but it's a snow / ski town so I am sure they deal with a lot of melting snow on shoes when people come in. It was hot and delicious the only thing I would comment is that there was a significant amount of egg in pad zee ew. As far as the restaurant itself it was quaint but uncomfortably cold. The thermostat showed 61 degrees. You could feel it. Also, some attention could be used in the women's restroom where when I turned the faucet to turn on the water the entire structure came up off the floor.

Their dining room is divided in two parts, one with the bar and some tables & chairs; the other side has a long bench along the walls all around. Definitely try to be on the "bar side" if you can; we were seated on the "bench" side and it just wasn't as pleasant. I was sitting on the bench and it was just very dirty, with food and hair on it and food scraps and even utensils on the floor around the tables. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, and I understand the staff is busy but I just think that cleaning around tables is essential, especially when families were seated there, because kids are messy. We shared a couple of appetizers and they were very good. Cocktails are also excellent! Boyfriend had the chicken teriyaki and liked it, but found it a bit dry. We had some sushi - even though I should have known better, because I've had their takeout before and never really liked it. Boyfriend only eats nigiri - he had the smoked salmon one and said it was not good at all. I had a salmon roll served with lemon on top - the lemon was too ripe and soaked the fish which was weird. Also had an eel roll, which was kind of tasteless. All pieces were huge and I couldn't finish - I took the leftovers back to our hotel but ended up tossing it - super unusual for me as I *always* end up eating my sushi leftovers later in the night. Service was excellent, our waitress was super efficient and friendly. Overall we would come back, but I don't think I would ever have sushi here again. I'd go for cocktails and to try a bunch of appetizers.

My wife is 26 for context- so why some girl that is probably only a few years younger thinks that is appropriate is beyond me- it even made her cry after the interaction. In all my years of customer service I have only called women "miss." So anyways- this girl was rude and she should learn that you have to treat all parties equally- man or woman, and let them ask questions without being rude. You are a cashier- that is part of the job. If the business cares to track this, I have attached a photo of the receipt for you so that you may tell this girl that sort of behavior, no matter how large or small the interaction, really put a damper on someone's day. Think before you speak.
