When I called now they explain returning they accept until 945 new pt until 930 , that would be helpful to have on your website or change your hours because technically your open until 945pm no one can purchase after. I literally live 5min away & the only reason I was even going here is because catalyst is closed but they are true to their times & have better deals & bud . This establishment only accepts cash or debit cards. I never use my debit card, but didn't have cash on me. Soon after my transaction, I had 3 unauthorized withdrawals on my card. Online, their prices for an eighth show a 40% discount, but when you walk in, it's full price--if not more after tax. Meanwhile, just down the street, Catalyst has no tax and a line out the door! I am so EXTREMELY disappointed in my experience this morning. Haven had become my go-to dispensary. Even though their prices are not the best, the staff always seem knowledgeable and eager to help. I have referred many people here, especially newbies, because you don't feel like you're picking random products that you aren't familiar with. I come here for the expertise of products that they are trained for and suggestions that the budtenders offer. Not the case today. I wanted to try vaping. I have a little vape pen that takes the universal, cylindrical type cartridges. This also happens to be the only style they had on display in the cases. On arrival I made my budtender, Allison C., aware that I was totally new to this and I needed some help. She was polite and helpful in the assistance of looking at strains and strengths of certain carts. I did mention that I wanted a full gram, not half, and it seemed that Stiiizy had the widest range of options. At no point, even after making her aware that I was totally clueless about the vaping thing, did she mention that this cart needed its own pen, battery, the whole shabang! Remember, none are on display for me to see that this cart is shaped different from what I was looking for! After purchasing, I start to exit and realize that this cart will NOT fit anything other than this brand pen. Even the barcode sticker covered the shape of it on the box. Once I made this discovery, I immediately went back in, maybe a whole 60-90 seconds later to make them aware that what I purchased was not what I was asking for. I waited for Allison to finish with another customer and then shared my issue. You know what she told me? We can't do anything about it, but you can buy the other Stiiizy products to make these carts you just brought work. My mind is blown at this point. I asked to speak with a manager regarding the mix-up. She comes out, I explain what happened and also mentioned the obvious - there are no displays of what ANY other cartridge looks like besides the one I was trying to buy! She was indifferent and not concerned that I had just thrown away my money on a product I couldn't use. I didn't even want a refund! Just to exchange what I purchased seconds ago for the correct product. The only thing this team offered me was to buy more products for the wrong items I had in my hand. Oh, and also told me that the return policy states that because of COVID they could not refund or exchange any product unless defective or leaking. As of this moment, the website states NOTHING about this being their policy. Even at the bottom of my receipt it states Haven will GLADLY refund or exchange any unopened product within 30 days with original receipt at the location purchased from. I can't believe I received such a horrible customer service experience at Haven. After all the purchases made, referrals made, items tried. I would have never in a million years thought I would be leaving such a poor review for this place. I was satisfied with the amount of locations and how close in proximity they were to me. I'm hoping that someone sees this and helps make it right. If not, I will be on the search again for what dispensary to make my new home. Please, do not rely on budtenders here to sell you what you are looking for. Ask to check the pictures, remove any stickers if the image is obstructed, ask questions, see if there are any other accessories needed, make certain that you are purchasing what you need. I love that they have versatility in the products that they sell & they have some very nice merchandise. If you want a place that will sell you stale old weed, refuse an exchange, lie to your face and tell you its not old and then call security because you ask them tough questions, then this is the place for you! I am not a karen. I am a cultivator who has 20 years history consuming and half a decade growing (retired for years now). I know what old weed looks and smells like, regardless of indoor or outdoor. These guys are complete rookies. They cannot even tell the difference so how could they possibly provide excellent service? Manager told me point blank "Its not old" before even looking at the product. How could you possibly assess something you've not looked at? She clearly didn't want to do anything about the situation before it started. Everyone knows the smell of old weed. It smelled like that. It was orangy-brown color from the months it sat behind their shelves. And this is what the manager recommended to me. Nice job selling your old expired product to customers. Buyer beware. Staffers were all super friendly, Emily was effervescent and 100% committed to helping me find what I wanted. She's an absolute doll! The budtender Alison was very nice and friendly, but didn't have an in-depth knowledge of the vapes that I had come for. No problem, if you go to a library, the librarian doesn't know every single book in the place. Here's the weird!!! She has to request manager code overrides for discounts, and when she did, the manager saw I had a new customer discount card with a LOWER discount, than their 420 deal of the day, and said I had to use those first before taking advantage of any store deals OMFG (sales quotas underperforming?) Alison tried to advocate for me for the 10% lower price advertised, but no luck.......she did offer me a discount card upon leaving for my troubles and recommended not taking out the introductory coupon when paying next time just in case It feels more like SUNGLASS HUT than a place to go get weed :( kinda looks like it too with the way they display their products, so if that's for you; eh, it's there, but I won't be back cause it just doesn't feel very chill or inviting for a dispensary. It's funny, I didn't think I'd ever review a dispensary - not that I haven't *been* to dispensaries, I've definitely been to a few since it went legal, it just felt weird *reviewing* them, like it wasn't something you'd admit to publicly with your name attached. But times are changing, happily, in that regard. I'm really happy to have a place nearby finally, and especially happy that it's a place this *nice* - I'm used to dispensaries, even the nice ones, still feeling a bit like a brick box, so it's highly refreshing to browse a store that feels more like a museum gift shop, except weed. I've been a few times since the pandemic (since they keep running deals, plus I need the stress relief right now, global pandemic and everything!), and every single person I've talked to has been super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I also love the pretty impressive selection and *variety* in edibles. I will say about the prices, though, they're kinda all over the place, it's weird. I can't talk as much about flower (I've just bought the ones that were on sale the most, haha), but as far as edibles go, they've got some fantastic tinctures for great prices, and then also tinctures that are pretty pricey. They've got several varieties of great chocolates, some of which are quite reasonably priced. some seem less so. They've got a couple different brands of very reasonably priced, delicious mints (I keep buying and going through those, heh). They've got pills(!?) that are totally reasonably priced. And then they've got a bunch of gummies from some of our favorite brands, most of which are competitively priced, except of course our absolute favorite one, which is massively overpriced here compared to the place we were mostly going before Haven opened (The Green Room), cause of course it is. All of that is before discounts, though, and they run discounts all the time. First off, you get discounts your first four visits, and if you bring someone new, you and the person you bring always get 25% off that visit, so that's fun. Then if you let them text you (though I really wish they'd email instead of texting, but that's just me), they've been sending us periodic texts about sales of up to 40% certain products (though sadly never on any of my favorite edibles so far, haha. To be fair, I don't know for sure if they'll keep doing that or if it was just during the heart of the pandemic.) You also get a free sample or other little gift if you spend $100, and a free house preroll on your birthday if you buy something. I think on top of that they also have a loyalty program, but I don't remember the details - I haven't asked about redeeming it yet. I just wish they could reopen their front door - cause the front is really nice, except right now it's boarded up and they're asking people to go around the back, which is through an ugly alley that doesn't do the store itself justice! read more
