Don't come here at all I would have to say this is the most unprofessional dispensary in Long Beach!I gave it one star because I had to just to post this review. I would definitely recommend going to Haven on Long Beach Blvd and Anaheim. They have better budtenders. Managers and always try to do the best to work with you not like this one on pine. I ordered a all in one and they gave me the pod and before the girl who helped closed the register I told her my order was wrong then she told me she couldn't help me and I asked for a manager Ivan and he was practically worthless as well. Everytime I come here for one simple item, I end having to wait 20-30 minutes for them to likely tell me they don't even have it. Selection is limited compared to other Catalyst locations (like the one on Cherry). The set up is frustrating because you can't look at the items while standing in line. When it's your turn to order, you feel pressured to make choices as quickly as possible (because there is a massive line behind you). The workers rarely acknowledge how long the line is and how frustrating the wait can be for customers. Put simply, the wait times at this location are ridiculous. Maybe they're short staffed? I don't know what the problem is, but I really hope they get it together soon. I live in DTLB, but I gladly travel elsewhere to get my MJ. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would, I've been going to catalyst since it opened down town and never had a problem until today when I was being helped by an alternative chick, I asked for disposables and they told me raw garden was having a bogo, went to ring me up and was not a bogo so she was already fucking up. So I just purchased one no problem cool. Next thing I'm walking out and I check she sold me a cartridge NOT a disposable. I went back and informed the worker of THEIR mistake and They went into defense saying I never asked for disposables with a snarky attitude super rude and that they can call their manager. Fine with me I told them to bring the manager and the manager had a nasty attitude and told me she can bring up the cameras. To no surprise they brought up the cameras and I was in fact asking for disposables in the footage :) they immediately switched their attitudes and felt dumb as fuck and credited me. Moral of the story don't be them be kind and don't be dumb and defensive if theirs a possibility you'd be in the wrong. read more

I want to share some honest feedback that hope could be educational, because I believe in supporting businesses that care about their customers. I arrived right at 9:30 PM, not late, but exactly at the posted closing time. I understand and fully respect that staff are ready to wrap up by then. What was disappointing wasn't the refusal of service, but how it was handled. No one from the staff approached or acknowledged me. Instead, security came over and told me they were closed. There was no greeting, no apology, no explanation, just a "we're closed" from someone who didn't work behind the counter. It felt cold and dismissive. It would've made a world of difference if an employee had taken a moment to politely let me know the situation, even if they couldn't help me. A little customer service goes a long way. I'm sharing this not out of anger, but in hopes that the team might approach these moments with more warmth and communication in the future. I'd love to come back and have a better experience next time. read more

My boyfriend got his wallet stole today inside this catalyst and he asked for the cameras but they have a mirror blocking the view of everything the camera is recording... which is so unsafe like what if someone gets hurt, threatened, and the cameras aren't even recording anything. For example a customer (aka my boyfriend) got his wallet stole in catalyst and the camera didn't pick up anything... what if he was robbed at gun point? the cameras wouldn't have got anything. He had his wallet when he first went inside and when he was about to pay, it wasn't in his pocket anymore so this is so weird and grimey and sketchy and even more weird that the cameras don't pick up anything. On top of that every time i come here, they give me the wrong strain i asked for and they tell me they can't do anything cause i already went to my car and i understand that but at least give me the right strain i asked for. This catalyst isn't helpful at all.. not even when it comes to their customers getting their wallet stolen inside the store and my boyfriend comes here every 4 days weekly. I work at a dispensary myself and our cameras by law have to show everything. Behind the counters and our customers full body from head to toe just in case a situation like this happens and if our customer did get something stolen inside the store we would be able to see it and who did it.. but the fact their main cameras are being blocked by a mirror is so crazy and it isn't even legal at a dispensary. read more
