I am a business owner, I worked all day, my back has been killing me along with other medical issues; I showed up 5 minutes before closing and was denied medical Marijuana when I needed it most. Haven is decent, with friendly staff and a very convenient location. Selection and value leave a bit to be desired compared to other dispo's, as it's quite pricey compared to the competition. Promotional offers aren't that appealing either. Some of the budget-friendly edibles I've tried here were not great in taste or experience, but that's not really Haven's fault. I came back on Sunday to take advantage of the Mother's Day deal with the FEELZ flower. Pretty interesting deal, but one get one and get some flowers and a card for the festive day. The flower, it may have been super old or not properly sealed, I'm not sure. The flower was hard and stale. If you have enough patience you can break it down proper or if you use a grinder. I thought it was only one bag, but 2 out of the 4 I purchased had this hard flower in it. Maybe the deal was designed to get old flower off the shelf, maybe the company (FEELZ) doesn't have great product. I'm not sure but I'd like to return it (doubt that's possible). I purchased a "Pro Farms" cartridge and it broke on me after 1 use. I came in to exchange the product and the "bud tenders" knew there have been issues with "Pro Farms" cartridges breaking. I've been out of town and as soon as I arrived came to exchange the cartridge. I arrived 2 days after the return window, but they would not make an exception. Do not go to this dispensary, it is not worth your time. They are always out of stock on different items, so it's not a guarantee that you'll find what you're looking for. I've also experienced times where the security guard wouldn't let me in around ten minutes early. Don't they close at 10? Why is arriving at 9:45-50 a problem? Plus, they don't treat they're employees well. The black employees have dropped like flies since I started going there, which is upsetting to see as a black customer. I am officially over this location. Unless you are willing to take whatever they have, get okay service, and shop in an environment that doesn't reflect Long Beach (lack of diversity), then I'd suggest supporting a different dispensary chain.
