I've been here a few times and even now that I live on the east side of Columbus, I still make the trip to Dublin to go to Haven. The shop is clean and well maintained. Their prices are competitive and the quality is great. Sometimes I feel they do take a little longer than other places I have been for a pedicure, but the difference is worth it when they're done. Sat down with friends for a pedicure. Mine was the last one to start and the first one finished. The polish looks fine, but I definitely got the short end of the stick for a leg massage etc. My nail stylist must have been the owner. He kept getting up to answer the door. I have visited this salon in the past and experienced satisfactory service. 3 weeks ago, I took my daughter to get her nails done and was pleased with the outcome. Saturday, April 04/15/2017 I took both of my daughters in to have their nails done for Easter. We signed in and looked for the color they wanted. Once I had helped them make a decision, they sat and waited for their turn. I decided to run an errand a few shops down while waiting for them. About 15 min passed, when my youngest daughter called me, explaining that 3 people came in signed in WITHOUT an appt and was taken before them, "what should they do?" I suggested they just wait patiently, but if it happen again to mention it to someone. Another 30 min pass and I get another call, this time telling me that I need to come down to the salon, because one of the nail techs was in my daughter's face yelling at her and that they were told to leave. I immediately walked back down and asked the gentleman who seems to run the salon what the problem was. He then raised his voice at me and said they there was no problem, that my daughters were the problem. I calmly said, wait a second, let's back up. and explained both phone calls I had received from my girls. He proceeded to yell at me until another nail tech came over saying she would do my daughter's nails. I went and sat in the waiting area while they finished her nails. When I sat a client sitting there asked if the girls were my daughters. I said yes. She said THEYwere in your daughters faces yelling at them. I was like exactly who-she pointed them out and when doing so, one of the gentleman she was referring to (while doing a patron's nails) yelled that he DID NOT yell at them, mean while, the patron he was working on looked at me and "mouthed" "yes he did" as well as her daughter who was sitting next to her, nodding her head in agreement with her mother-he then raised his voice to the patron and said he did not yell to which she responded "yes you did but I dont want in this." NEEDLESS TO SAY.......I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND AN TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE What happened before I got there: Apparently, my daughter was told by the nail tech that a NEW set of nails needed to be put on because hers were not done correctly and asked where she had had then done. She told him THERE. He proceeded to ask who did them, she pointed to the gentleman behind her (the gentleman who runs the place) to which he responded that he DID NOT do them and had never seen her before. She explained that he DID indeed do them 3 weeks ago. He continued to argue with her. She called her sister over to help her out. She asked the tech to decide with the Man in charge how they were going to fix them but that we should not be responsible for extra costs since it was their error. The tech slammed the bowl of acrylic down, shoved his chair back, walked away, kicking a chair, picking up another chair/stool and throwing it, knocked polishes and other things off shelves until finally going to the backroom, all while other client's witnessed this. **You may ask why we did not just leave and go somewhere else. My daughter's nails were already removed and a mess. We felt like they needed to finish what they had started. read more

The worst service I ever had. They made the mistake and don't want to fix it . They are rude to costumers. I would never recommend this place to anyone. And for rude service they had a full house when I walked in and she was yelling at me while doing someone nails not good at all. What bad people. Gel polish started chipping within 2 days. Went back in they fixed for free (tried to charge me $10 for a color change and i said why would i want a color change when i just had this put on TWO DAYS AGO?) Polish started chipping AGAIN within 2 days of getting nails redone.. I called salon and explained what was happening. At first he said i could come in again and they will fix them for free. I asked if he was going to use the same polish and if so can I get a refund since clearly the polish is the problem as the polish keeps chipping.. The guy on the phone and was super rude and instead of saying sorry, he said "this is a business we here to make money" and he blamed me for the polish chipping- he said it was because of my job- which is not true at all i work in an office. Then he blamed the heat for them chipping. All this could have been avoided. After paying $48 (40 dollars for service 8 for tip) for nails that lasted less than a week, getting yelled at by an employee, it is safe to say I will not return. I've been bringing my business here for the last 6 months due to recommendations... I always get a mani and pedi gel on toes acrylic and tips for fingernails. I swear I was charged $45/55 at the beginning which is still high but the last 3 visits I am up to paying $65/60 + $20 tip every time thats $120+/140 everytime I get my nails done which is atleast 2 times a month maybe 3 if we have a trip. I have had everyone but female owner do my nails. Mail owner put finger nails on crooked and barely painted toe nails and I had all replaced lil over a week later. Another person put 2 more nail tips on crooked. Mani after that my toes were painted lil squares not even covering whole nail I guess to have me in sooner for balance. Last time I went 3 days before I went to mexico, we got there jumped in pool and 3 gel toe nails came right off - didnt even swim in beach until next day - very embarrassed thats how my feet looked our entire weekend, even another husband commented "thats what my wife gets and its expensive, isn't it supposed to last forever". My husband agreed and no way was I spending 2 hours in a salon at the resort to get my nails done again that week. Sadly disappointed with the quality and cost of quality they do provide. Let me add I tried to make appt so It didnt take 3hours they told me they werent busy, I came in and it took 3 1/2hrs and once they squeezed me in I sat with feet soaking in water for 25min then with foil wrapped acetone soaked cotton balls around my toes for 20/25min and physically removed it myself due to skin being eaten alive with chemicals. Money money money is their #1 priority - maybe I need to tip more than $20 to get better quality but another place has been recommended just as close with just as many good reviews and half the price - at this point I need to find somewhere reliable and with dependable services. Haven is the best nail salon I've been to in Columbus, and it was very hard to find a good one. For some reason, the area has very high prices for nail services....and while Haven isn't cheaper, the quality is TONS better. I've been pleased everytime I've been there. Sometimes they seem understaffed, but the quality has never suffered or been hurried, as I've faced in other local salons Lee is really good - cares about his work, and is a kind, professional person.
