This is my go-to nail salon in town! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and their chair massages are some of the best. Sometimes I go on my lunch break just to get a quick chair massage from Kenny (10 of the best minutes of my life!) Everything is clean, equipment is new and they always have great promotions going on. I would definitely recommend this place over some of the larger nail salons in Long Hill. read more

I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews, but I was so let down after my visit here. My gel manicure was streaky, my thumbnails were different shapes, and my cuticles bled which never happens at other places. What really got me though was that my polish started chipping after only 5 days. Only reason I'm giving three stars is because they took excellent COVID precautions and I don't want to completely judge a place from one visit. read more

Haven't been able to find a great nail salon since moving to NJ from NYC. Haven is the fourth one I've visited. It is very clean, the environment is calm and relaxing, and staff is friendly and sweet. I had a fantastic regular pedicure that left my feet feeling soft and pampered. I also did a gel manicure that was pretty good. The only thing is, I had to remind the nail technician to do the whole nail (which includes the sides of the nail bed). He fixed it on one hand, but upon closer inspection, he missed a few spots on the other hand. I don't understand this as this has happened to me a number of times. Since when did doing nails only cover part of the nail?! Anyway, I'll come back, but first, I'm going to try another salon. read more

I got my eyebrows done, it was OK. I got a French mani for my wedding not even 24 hrs later it was chipping off. My pedicure wasnt even Done properly, I should of done it myself instead of paying for their sub-par job. Never going back. read more

If you are looking for a great local nail salon- you've found it at the Haven. Noticed a negative comment about 9 months ago on here about - not sure what that person is referring to. They play Japanese rap music, when I'm getting my nails done I'm going to relax. I definitely wasn't relax. They lady was singing along as she was doing them. Love the personalized attentive service. Owner Mimi is friendly, kind, professional and runs a great place. Knowing colors that I like since I'm a regular, to save time she'll make suggestions on new colors to try and at times will start my gel removals to speed things up while I'm in the pedi chair. I believe there are discounts for earlier days in the week, and they are terrific with the young girls that come in with their Moms for colors and art. read more

First time trying this location. Some of the techs were friendly but I was rushed where my heels are still dry. its very frustrating. Advice to salon, dont rush someone to pick a color. People come so they have pretty feet afterwards not dry cracked heels. You are being paid to provide a service of soft heels and not just painted toes. Small and cute place! The building and inside is super cute and cozy. They have a good selection of colors and it went by pretty quickly and came out super nice! Just only thing I don't like is they don't soak off gel nails if you've had them on before they just file them off with that automatic thingy they usually use for tips and acrylics or whatever. Would not go back. They charged $50 for a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was completed in less than 10 minutes, no massage, no foot scrub. The gel manicure looks "ok" not great. The nail tech missed the side of two different nails, which I didn't notice until I was home. This salon actually honors appointments-- over 2 years, I've very rarely waited even a few minutes. I've seen them turn away walk-ins due to upcoming appointments which is refreshing. I have been going here for more than a year, but not ever again. I made an appointment with Kim and arrived on time to find she was giving another customer a pedicure. I waited 30 minutes and finally after NO ONE assisted me, I got up and left. Of course as soon as I did this, I got a lot of attention. I went to Foxy Nails in Basking Ridge and have been back twice. Haven is amazing! All of the people there are very nice, and they do a great job! I got tips there for the first time, and they told me they need an hour to apply new tips. I got there ten minutes late, and they were there waiting for me. Because I was late, my appointment ended up lasting longer, over their closing time, but Becky stayed there taking her time making sure everything was perfect. Becky and Kim worked on my nails at the same time, switching between hands. My nails look great! My thumbs is weird, and they had no nails that fit it, so they used the uv gel instead! I feel like if I went to other salons, they would just say sorry and not put a tip on my thumb, but at haven, they did quick problem solving! I am so glad that I came here to get my tips. They were on the pricy side but I don't know how pricing is for a good manicure. But I didn't just pay for the nails, I paid for the experience too! They asked about what nails shape, and how long, always making sure they were the right size and shape, they out generous amounts of gel, and nail polish on that I am sure will not chip, and I got a hot towel, and a great massage! It is defiantly worth it to come here, even if it is a little far. The place is very neat, and clean, and they sterilize their tools before using them, like a good nail salon should. The chairs are comfy, and you feel welcomed when you walk in. I would defiantly recommend making an appointment because there are only a few people working there, so you have to reserve a time.
